H. & M. Crumpets

What a seductive store! I got lost in the fragrances and various products, TWICE, during our long weekend getaway. Lots of unique and classic stuff! I plan on perusing their website in the future.

Ha ha. Joke’s on me. My friend and I ate a «crumpet» one time in Seattle, Washington. We have never found another shop like that, nor a delicious crumpet, again. So, when we were parking in this adorable small town, we saw the name H & M Crumpets. We were SO excited to have delicious «crumpets» again.
NOT. This is a fancy, sweet soap store. They sell high-​quality soaps, creams, etc. — it’s great place to buy a gift for someone. As it turned out, the sweet-​smelling soaps were BETTER than a crumpet! The smell in this store was so delicious and the soaps were amazing. The gentleman in the store was exactly what you would expect from a small town. He was nice, and polite and very knowledgeable about all his soaps in the store, and where they came from. We must have spent ½ an hour in there just picking up and smelling everything. Whatever you buy, believe me, will be great.
If you find yourself in this wonderful town in Maine, do NOT leave without stopping in here — you will be glad you did. You can find any place to eat (and maybe even find a real crumpet), but you’ll never find a store as charming as this one!

If you find yourself in Ogunquit, do yourself a favor and stop by this place: H&M Crumpets. It’s this small-​ish speciality soap store. They sell the most amazing quantity and quality of soaps, moisturizers, shaving creams, face creams, candles — there’s even a section for dogs!!! (toys, leashes, etc). It’s one of the most fun little stores to check out — the number of different types of soap I found in there was astounding — all kinds of brands I’ve never heard of or haven’t seen in decades. If you’re looking for a unique gift for someone, this place will definitely inspire you. I thought the prices were all right too. And if you’re a guy — don’t turn your nose up at this place — turn it DOWN and go in and SMELL what they got — LOTS of mens’ items here!!! It’s attached to the Harbor Candy shop next door, literally: there’s a doorway to walk from one to the other. Check it out!!!
