After years spent in graphic art and event design and management, Lynn decided to open her own floral shop. She is now having a great time meeting and helping people with quests from sending just the right flowers to someone special to helping brides to create their dream weddings within their budgets. «I love this business because everyone who comes to digs is there to make someone happy.» It’s her goal to see everyone leave with a smile, knowing that they will bring a smile to someone else. «It’s not enough for me to just meet people’s expectations, I always strive to exceed them.»

Lynn loves to find unique ways to display and give flowers and plants using vintage and unusual containers. These creations make great gifts. She uses that same creative energy to come up with memorable event designs too.

I live out of the state but my mom lives in Ojai. I wanted to have a bouquet sent to her for Mother’s Day. I worked with Digs over the phone in telling them what I wanted. The delivery was on time and it turned out beautiful! My mom loved it! Great customer service and great products… What more can you want? :)

Lynn did a wonderful job for our wedding. We supplied some design elements like old weathered logs and a weathered lattice fence section. She and her staff turned them into fantastic creations – they looked ready for a big screen close up in a rustic woodland fantasy feature. She is a former event planner who loved the flower work. She was organized and clear up front about costs and time, and communicated well. We supplied some flowers from our garden and she incorporated them in the designs. She worked well with our other vendors, making changes as needed when she saw how the lighting and lanterns would work with the flowers. The only thing I would change was being more clear about the size of the bridal bouquet which hid too much of the dress. So grateful we found a creative spirit to add touches to our event that made it memorable and unique.

This review is far overdue but I guess I was lost for words to describe how wonderful Lynn was in doing the flowers for our wedding this past June. Still no excuse, but truly, Lynn was the first vendor that made me think wedding planning could be pleasant because she is so incredibly sweet, friendly and accommodating.
I was initially thinking to purchase flowers wholesale and ask my bridesmaids to help make the bouquets etc., something I had done for a friends wedding. However, ultimately that seemed too stressful and honestly not all that low-​cost either.
I’m so glad I found Lynn though — she worked within our budget and was able to fashion lovely creations within the color scheme we had picked and which I gather was not the most typical. She also created a beautiful floral headband that was just right. I provided pinterest photos and we had an afternoon of playing about with flowers but I really didn’t know how it would turn out until the actual wedding day so I suppose it was a bit of a gamble, but I don’t think I ever worried about it. Lynn really went above and beyond in how gorgeous everything looked and we got plenty of compliments all around. I think she really enjoys working with flowers and it really comes through. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting Digs, the newest florist in our fare town of Ojai! I was in need of a floral arrangement as a birthday gift. I had received an arrangement from Digs for my birthday. It came in a cedar wrapped vase with my name etched inside a heart! So beautiful and creative! I wanted the same for my friend! Needless to say, it was lovely and my friend was thrilled to have such a personalized gift!
The ladies who work at Digs were most pleasant and helpful. Great customer service! I’d ridden my bicycle (clearly wasn’t the smartest decision!), so Donna delivered the arrangement to me!
I’ll definitely be back!

This place is amazing! They were super helpful on the phone and made an arrangement that was exactly what I wanted! I told them over the phone I wanted an arrangement that would stay good for a week, I didn’t need anything fancy but simple spring flowers. The price was affordable and I will be returning for all my arrangement needs in Ojai! Thank you!!!

Ordered a violet plant for delivery to my grandmother in Ojai, Lynn made it happen even with only a days notice! My grandmother commented that she enjoyed chatting with her, and I appreciate that she wasn’t in to much of a hurry to stop and chat. Great customer service.

My daughter got married last week and had asked me, her mom, to do all her flowers for her wedding. I had stopped in Digs several times in the fall to consider having Lynn do our corsages and buttonnieres. In consideration of our wedding budget, I decided I would do all the wedding flower needs myself. Two days before the wedding I got a call from Lynn who was concerned about the huge undertaking I had — she most generously offered to let me bring the corsage and buttonniere flowers and materials to her shop, where she offered to provide me with professional instruction and assistance. I could not believe her thoughtfulness!!! Under her amazing guidance our corsages and buttonnieres were beautiful, and when I ran out of time, I was so happy to have her make the last two corsages, and my wrist corsage. Lynn is a truly lovely, generous, and amazing flower artist, and we are blessed to have her and her wonderful staff in our wonderful town of Ojai.

Lynn did the flowers for our wedding this past February. She was wonderful to work with and easy to coordinate with even though we were located in Los Angeles. When we visited to plan our wedding she spent a good amount of time putting together some pretty sample flower combos. We were very open ended about what the end product looked like, so she suggested we put together a Pinterest board to give her an idea of the feelign we were going for. She nailed it!
Also just another little tid bit about her, everything was delivered right on time to our wedding location on Valentine’s Day weekend. She’s magic!

Lynn was wonderful! She runs her own small business, and though she can be a little harried at times as a result, she seems to really love what she does. We visited with her and knew pretty quickly we wanted to work with her, as we wanted to use vendors who truly love what they do and aren’t necessarily into the «wedding industry» BS. Particularly since we were only interested in personal flowers, as we didn’t need on-​site décor at all.
Lynn listened to our ideas and then made suggestions — either to complement or to adjust what we envisioned. When my initial idea didn’t work the way I’d hoped, she immediately came up with something I loved even more! And she spent well over an hour with us, working through every bouquet and boutonnière until we were thrilled with the result. And her prices were super reasonable. I’d definitely work with her again, and highly recommend this vendor.

Lynn is pure magic. The flowers that she prepared for our wedding were the most beautiful I have ever seen. She is an artist, she creates bouquets. With our flowers I sent a couple of ideas and told her the colors and she made the most beautiful arrangements. She also hand picked special blossoms from Ojai. I had a small piece of Ojai in my bouquet, so fantastic. Her energy is bright and warm and she works had to deliver exactly what you want. I didn’t even know what I had in mind but what she made was so perfect, so elegant but humble, it was more than I could ever have imagined. She is also great with color and knew exactly how much of each accent color to add to make the bouquets pop.

We had the most awesome experience with owner and operator Lynn Malone! Digs did my daughters wedding and fulfilled her every wish and dream for this special day!!! The attention to every detail and time schedule was pure perfection! Our wedding was so beautiful because of digs! The attention she gave to our whole wedding party was perfect!!! Lynn even came back the next morning to help make sure we had everything collected up and packed to take home! Very professional!

Lynn, the owner of Digs, is hands down the best florist you will ever find! If you are looking for the nicest arrangements at a reasonable price, look no furthere. I know I won’t be going anywhere else anymore!
Last year she worked with me to create stunning flower arrangements for my wedding. I had a vision in my head and sent her pictures of different things I «kind of liked» to give her an idea of what I wanted and it was like she read my mind. The arrangements came out better than I envisioned.
She created lavender boquets for my bridesmaids with fresh Ojai Lavender — that she went and picked herself– while my bouquet was a beautfiul combination of my favorite flowers. The bouteniers were mini versions of my boquet. The flowers for the alter and table arrangements were carefully coordinated with our other decorations (most of wich this amazing womany helped me put together.)
I have also ordered an arrangement for a neighbor who’s husband passed away and it was beautiful and oh so touching. I gave her some details about the person and she made it so perfectly custom to them.
