History

Established in 2012.

New 2 You was established in January 2012 by Ojai business entrepreneur, Phyllis Schaller, former owner of Java 33 in Oak View, CA. With a genuine concern for the issue of unsustainable living on the

planet, Phyllis felt personally something had to be done. «There’s too

much stuff in the world, I don’t want to see it all go into landfills.’

And so began one woman’s quest to recycle and reuse.

Phyllis Schaller has been a Ojai Valley resident and business entrepreneur for over twenty years with many successful ventures. With a strong focus on integrity, Phyllis is a pleasure to do business with. After retiring her Java 33 business in 2009, Phyllis took a break to pursue a career in preforming hoop dance on vacation cruise liners.

Phyllis opened ‘New 2 You’ in January 2012, a successful thrift and consignment shop. It is here, that Phyllis dedicates herself in taking old ideas and turning them into new possibilities, something New 2 You.
