Established in 2001.

Farmer and the Cook has since evolved into a community hang out where locals regularly gather to sample the fresh farm-​to-​table salad bar and a truly stunning array of baked goods. The marketplace features dry goods, bulk bins, produce and specialty farm products like apricot jam and chipotle lime salt among other perfectly packaged offerings, leaving diners with full bellies and overflowing shopping bags if they so desire.

Longtime organic farmer, journalist, Inspector, community leader, and raconteur, Steve Sprinkel (and Cornucopia Institute’s board member) plants the seeds and tends the vegetables we cook in the café.
