Meet the Business Owner

Shaun K.

Business Owner

Shaun has worked in the Construction Industry for nearly 20 years, working his way up from Construction Laborer, Carpenter, Site Superintendent, and Construction Manager. Shaun specializes in both large remodels and new construction with a special emphasis on green projects. Shaun received his Green Design Certification in 2007 from the University of Central Florida at Florida Solar Energy Center while working with a local builder. Shaun is currently seeking his Masters Degree from Everglades University In Construction and Building Management and also a Bachelors from Florida Atlantic University in Architecture. In 2010 after discovering that there were very few local contractors with either the knowledge or experience needed to complete these Green Building Projects, Shaun co-​founded Green Design Construction and Development as a way to implement these Green Building Practices for the projects that his firm was designing.
