It is really easy to make an appointment online and you can usually get appointments in the same week, if not the same day. I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen. Every person, from the check in/​out desk to the doctor, are kind, educated, and friendly. They are all willing to spend as much time with you as you need and I have never felt rushed. I love it here and would recommend it to anyone!

Received an appt. within 2 days. The eye exam was very thorough. The Doctor took her time in discussing my vision and eye health. I will return here whenever necessary. Nice selection of glasses. Easy parking and nice atmosphere.

Dr. Silverman has been helping me with my eyes for 4 years now. My eyes are complicated, he and the staff deal well with them. I started seeing him as a PhD student while at MSU, and now I drive from Detroit. It is by appointment, but they’ve always worked me in quick when I’ve needed to see the doctor.

I have been going to Okemos Optometry for about 5 years now. I have seen both Dr. Silverman and Dr. Camburn, and I am always impressed by how kind, knowledgeable, and personable they both are. The office is very clean and comfortable, they have a great selection of eyewear, and try very hard to make sure you are getting the lenses that will work best for you. The office staff are also extremely friendly and helpful, and seem to be very understanding of insurance policies, which is super helpful. I live on the north west side of Lansing and continue to drive over to Okemos for my eye appointments — totally worth it. A truly delightful office.

We come from quite a distance (+45 miles) to come to the office. Have always had great service and Dr. Camburn rocks! Excellent service and they always have answers for any vision insurance questions. My wife was in a car accident and we were recommended to Okemos for the specialized lenses she needed for reading and seeing at distance… only place I’d trust with either of our eyes.
