they had me at environmentally friendly. a couple of the forms were laminated and a dry-​erase marker was used. then they scanned the documents into the computer, cleaned off the laminated paper, and that was that. way less carbon foot print, and i’m guessing it’s about a million times easier for employees to access records.
also, they offer optomac, which is an alternate to pupil dilation. it does the same things, but you are knocked out for six hours with light sensitivity, and the doc can talk to you/​show you on the screen what’s behind your iris. it was very interactive and cool.
they were thorough and friendly.
everything was clean, my appointment was at the time i was told, and i was out of there within an hour.
there’s also a glasses shop attached, and they can order your contacts through them. depending on your insurance (which they scan in and send off to see what’s covered), they’ll let you know what % you’ll receive off on either glasses or contacts.
