Bill Veazey’s Party Store provides party and special event rentals. Rental items include tables, folding chairs, garden chairs, chavari chairs, linens, chair covers, custom linens, china, flatware, glassware, stages, dance floors, tents and props. We can provide everything from an intimate dinner for 2 to a themed gala for several thousand. Having a trade show? We have pipe and drape. Outdoor wedding? We can do that with our folding chairs and tents.

History

Established in 1964.

April 1, 1964, Bill and Jane Veazey opened an Abbey Rents franchise specializing in the rental of sickroom and party equipment. The name was changed 5 years later to Bill Veazey’s Best Rents. Over the years each area grew such that in 1985 two divisions were formed, Bill Veazey’s Rehab and Home Healtht and Bill Veazey’s Party Store. As Oklahoma City grew, so has the Party Store inventory. In 2002 BVPS moved into its current location a 35,000 sq ft warehouse just west of downtown at 1640 W. Main Street. Bill retired in 2002 and his daughter, Marijane Veazey took over as the general manager/​owner. BVPS continues to purchase new equipment to be able to provide the best selection in Oklahoma City.

Business Owner

Marijane gradutated from Trinity University in 1975. She worked in Houston and San Francisco as a petroleum geologist until 1991. Whe was laid off in the spring of ’91 and returned to OKlahoma City and went to work for the «Party Store». Marijane has continued to provide the foundation for many parties, special events, and weddings in the Oklahoma City area.
