Cox Convention Center

Attended the National Tornado Summit here 4 years in a row. This is a great facility. There is plenty of room for events/​banquets with large groups of people. Also has smaller meeting rooms which work out great when breaking up into small sessions to discuss various topics. Plenty of clean restrooms & water fountains.

Went to a great Barron’s hockey game here a few weeks ago with some friends. We had a lot of fun and were surprised at the size of it. This place is huge! Plenty of seating which is a plus.
It was our first hockey game here and we’re sad to hear that this is their last season.
Hopefully we’ll be back for another event again soon.

If I’m at the Cox Center, I’m probably here for a fun event or an important meeting. Most recently, I was here for the Greater Grads events put on by the OKC Chamber of Commerce. The Center is always spotlessly clean, with helpful staff and signage. Compared to other cities our size, and especially when you consider all the construction going on Downtown, it is relatively easy to park.
I’m also always very impressed by the food here, as well as the servers. Serving at large banquets like this is hard work, and they always do such a good job. I don’t normally host events at places such as these, but I would absolutely consider the Cox Center if I had a big enough event.

Attended a work conference here in the middle of March at this convention center. Very Clean facilities, attentive staff, and clean for the most part. The signage in the garage and technical equipment could use some updating that is about several years old.

some parts are a little dated. needs better signage to get down into the parking garage. there were 2 elevators but no noticeable signage for stairs. also, if you park and exit the stairs to the street, be warned you won’t be able to get back in the same way as the doors only open from the inside (found that out the hard way, had to walk halfway around the building to get back in).

Rude people. We went to discover dinosaurs and and it was run by a bunch of rude carneys. Cox and okc should be ashamed. It was a ripoff and we were treated rudely.

I’ve only parked underneath the arena once and I don’t plan on ever doing that again. Mostly because I don’t want to pay their parking fee and it’s hard to navigate from the parking garage to the main box office. The arena itself is clean. I’ve passed by many meeting rooms and they all looked spacious. I come here a lot for Barons games and I’m thankful that we have a hockey arena and team in the city since I enjoy this sport tremendously!
Food and drinks are overpriced like any other arena. Sometimes they have specials on game nights like $ 1 hotdogs and sodas. Hockey tickets are pretty cheap. I usually get in for only $ 10.

The event center has very nice facilities for business meetings. Attended the Tornado Summit and found the renovations over the years to be refreshing. The parking right across the street is convenient. I used a meter as the underground parking was too expensive for a quick meeting.

Very nice convention center. Our meeting rooms were comfortable and the space is well laid out. The parking garage charges $ 6.00 per day which isn’t too bad for the convenience.

Barons Hockey is always a winner winner

Went to a Barons Hockey game at the Cox Center. Love the Cox Center. Great seats, clean bathrooms, and cheap parking. Only $ 6 parking and it is convenienent. Love the Barons!!! We always have a great time.

All I can say is that free WiFi across almost the entire building makes this the best convention center /​Arena that I’ve ever been to (and I go to a lot of these)… The food vendors aren’t too pricey either.

Attended a convention at the new Cox center, and it really is a boon for Okie City. It has not only everything a convention center needs — lots of meeting space, ball room, business center, etc, but it also houses a live theatre venue. Pretty full service!
I knocked off a star because of the catering staff, which I found lazy and underprepared. At one lunch they ran out of food. And I don’t mean three people did not get lunch for a while. I mean, they ran out of food and did not serve the hungry guests. What?
At the next lunch, the servers plain blew our table off once they dropped the plated lunch. No coffee or water refills. We were not treated like the well-​heeled guests that we like to think ourselves of.
Also, the carpets in the ballrooms are not built for high traffic like this as they are really stained and torn up.
The business center and tech staffs were outstanding.
