Dr. Guthrie is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN
His first solo practice was established in 1998 in Oklahoma City in its current location at the corner of Penn and Memorial near Quail Springs Mall.
He graduated in May 1980 and began practicing Optometry.
The affiliation between Eye Mart Express and Dr. Guthrie is a long-standing relationship and was begun in 1998.
Dr. Guthrie is an generalist Optometrist, but also specializes in eye diseases including glaucoma and problems related to diabetes.
The practice has invested in state-of-the-art equipment. For instance our Fundus Camera allows us to take pictures of the inside of the eye. Our Cirrus HD-OCT is invaluable for the treatment of diabetic, retina problems and glaucoma.
