Jerky

It’s an entire store devoted to jerky! Simple set up. Laid back. Over 50 different jerky flavors ready for purchase.
These guys have been online for 8 years and more recently opened up their store front. This one room store used to be an old mechanic garage and has now been organized into a candy shop like set up with assorted jerky options occupying their cleanly labeled cubbies along every wall.
The branding is consistent, clean and simple. The staff is super friendly but the prices were a bit steep. The major bummer was the poster at the front desk displaying a semi racist slur.

Recently had the Carolina Reaper and Habanero. Both were delicious! The Carolina Reaper was too spicy for me, but we were able to share this with people we didn’t really like and cause them some major pain, just kidding! It was really good. The habanero was my favorite out of the two and I could have eaten the entire bag in one sitting, but I portion controlled it to last me two days. Definitely going to buy more of the habanero and want to try the maple next. Great local product.

We celebrated a warm December day with a walk showing my family just how cool OKC has become. Jerky was our last stop and a perfect end to the day. The owner was friendly, shop was clean and there were lots of options. I am not a beef eater, so I typically think jerky is not for me but with this store I stand corrected: pork, turkey and chicken are also available (did I dream it or is alligator there too?!). The teriyaki is a favorite and right before Christmas they were running low on stock. But lo and behold, the owner went back and worked hard to find the requested flavors. I bought my husband a stocking stuffer of teriyaki beef and some gourmet pretzels. The jerky was savored and enjoyed and he is rationing it but I can tell you those pretzels were devoured in about 5 minutes (with help!) so be sure not to miss those from the center of the store.
Here’s my favorite part of the experience: My toddler was a fan of the shop dog Pepper and was asked if he had a dog at home. Since he responded that he did, we were given some dog jerky treats to take home to her– a new item they are testing. Such a nice touch and she loved it, so hopefully it is something that goes into their regular rotation. So in short, something for everyone (even canines!) makes it a great place to buy a little something for the jerky lover in your life.

Do not order online from them to expect a delivery. I placed an order for my husband on December 14. I received an order number and my credit card was card over $ 300.00 for a Christmas gift. Two days before Christmas I called the company. I left a message expecting a phone call back. I tried to call them numerous times and always received their voicemail during working hours. No one ever called me back. I sent them emails also hoping that someone would get back to me prior to Christmas so that my husband would receive his gift. Christmas came with no gift. My credit card was charged the cost of the product. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the charge from Jerky.
Four days after Christmas I received an email from Jerky stating that the item was never shipped. No one ever called me to tell me what happened. No one contacted me to see if I wanted something delivered for my husband after the holidays. I am still receiving emails from the President regarding their products and how wonderful the company states they are. They claim that customer service is number one to them. I even sent a message to the President of the company to see if he knew the type of serve I failed to receive from his company. He did not even respond. All I wanted was for someone to explain to me why my husband did not receive his gift for Christmas. I am so upset with their lack of customer service. Do not order online from them, you will be disappointed.

The jerky is amazing. The meat is tender and high-​quality. I love the bacon sriracha, and also the bourbon chipotle flavors.
The «jerky​.com» branded items are better than the others they carry. Love the fried peanuts, too.
It’s worth noting that the jerky is really expensive. It makes a great gift, but I almost never buy it for myself.
Also, the staff are really knowledgeable and can help you put together a nice selection of varieties if you’re giving it as a gift.

As someone who is passionate about jerky and makes homemade jerky often, I can appreciate a store dedicated to only jerky. First off, great location and store design. very organized and I like that they have locally made jerky and other brands besides
too. The store is very simple and clean. Great selection and reasonable prices.
Doug was super helpful and knowledgable about all of the jerky and which was preferred by most customers. I highly recommend the City Slicker Honey Pepper jerky and garlic deep fried whole peanuts too. I’ll be back, often!

Postscript — the OG Bacon jerky gave me indecent thoughts

Number one, I love that this store is called Jerky. Keep it simple. I dropped in today to meet the owner and check out the shop. Now, this is where you get to make fun of me: I had passed this place twenty, thirty, forty times and had not realized it was actually a retail storefront. I just thought it was cool, urban offices for a dot com, a dot com specializing in jerky. Well, I guess I was part right — it’s cool, urban offices for a dot com *and* a cool retail store selling jerky, nuts, candy and more.
I bought two types of jerky to try: Honey Teriyaki and Original, both beef (you can also get turkey, chicken, alligator, etc). Let me tell you, this jerky is on point. I loved them both, but Honey Teriyaki is my jam. That is just the right combo of sweet and savory, and it is so simple and pure, you can tell it did not become jerky via any difficult-​to-​pronounce chemicals.
Be warned though: once you go with jerky this good, you can never go back. I’ll never be able to go into a Conoco on my way out of town and grab some Jack Link’s for the road. Nope, I’ll have to plan my road trip to include a stop at 9^th and Hudson on my way out of town to get my jerky fix.

Great location. Took a run-​down building and made it look brand new. Hand crafted fixtures throughout the store. The
brand of jerky is some of the best I’ve ever had. Try some Alligator, you won’t regret it.

has a shop downtown on Hudson now, huh? Checked out their tent, rather than their shop, since it was right next to the food truck I was visiting.
The fellas there are nice and seem enthusiastic about what they’re selling. It seems that most of the beef jerky is $ 10 per bag. If you just look at the bag, $ 10 seems pretty unreasonable. But it just so happens to be the best jerky I’ve tasted short of homemade stuff I’ve gotten from friends.
I bought some of the honey teriyaki beef jerky and it was tender and juicy with a great taste. I could taste both the honey and teriyaki even though they blended together well.
Other than jerky (turkey, beef, pork, bacon, venison, buffalo, elk, wild boar, kangaroo, alpaca, alligator, ostrich, fish), they also sell licorice… if you’re into that, and deep fried peanuts. Deep fried peanuts are weird, ya’ll. Mostly because you eat the entire thing, shell and all. But they’re pretty good, too!
I’d go here if I feel like hoarding some quality jerky, for sure.
