Jiffy Lube

I used to go to this location for every oil change. They were fine as long as you would do ONLY oil changes and not allow them to upsell you I anything else. I would go to a different, more expensive mechanic for other maintenance.
One day I made the mistake of asking them to do more than an oil change. It was a part of my car’s 100,000 mile maintenance. They quoted me a very low price, but we both signed the quote. After they were «done» with my car, it turns out all they did was an oil change. They said they wouldn’t hold up the bargain for the other stuff because, on my model of car, it was more work than they thought.
I fought them tooth and nail. They eventually held up the contract we signed. But then they refused to give me a verification that they had done the work on my car. Very shady.

Upsell Upsell Upsell! Warning! These guys will try to sell you everything they can think of before just doing what you came in for. Bought a Groupon for wife for oil change. Took it in. Then the games began! Needed windshield wipers (which she did but…) They cost her $ 31 (oh but maked down from $ 70! But have to pay tax on reg price oil change at $ 43.99 and wipers etc. Of course multiple other attempts were made to sell her other services. So my $ 19.00 Groupon ended up with wife paying another $ 31.00 to get out of there feeling very pushed and pressured. Called manager John S. He didn’t care. DON’T USE JIFFY LUBE!!!

Easily the worst business in Oklahoma City. Tries to up charge at every opportunity including $ 35 for an air filter. I know 1 person who forced them to replace his ENGINE because they screwed it up. No pride in their work. Left dirty fingerprints all over the dash and a cord hanging out of the glove box. LAST TIME I CHECKED YOU DIDNT HAVE TO OPEN THE GLOVE BOX TO CHANGE THE OIL. Since I told them NOT to check the cabin filter or anything except the oil then they either did it to snoop or they suck even more than I thought.
DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO PULL INTO THE JIFFY LUBE MUCH LESS LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!

Worst place ever!!! It’s as if they make up the prices as they go along! Started with an oil change for $ 69. When I told them I had a coupon the oil change went up to $ 99 what!!! Then air filter needed to be replaced and another filter needed to be replaced — so I said I didn’t want it bc I was already pissed! Of course all the filters were immediately dropped by $ 10 each… Then I asked about the oil and who I was quoted 2 dif prices once they found out I had a coupon! In order to sell filters he now ended up giving me a $ 10 discount for the oil.
I will go to a place and pay more if they are honest but I will NEVER return to a place where they cheat you! Honestly people (men) were getting $ 20 off their oil change (without showing coupons) and women were badgered here! I hop everyone is fairly warned. I unfortunately didn’t read the reviews before I arrived. I should have walked away once I realized I was being cheated. Unfortunately stayed and left w a slimy feeling!

I made the mistake of going to Jiffy Lube despite my better judgment, I just needed an oil change. I thought I’d give them a chance, they failed. They did their typical haggling where 20 things are wrong with your car and they try to up sell you, I didn’t bite. I did have my check engine light on and they said a simple cleaning flush would take it away, but it would cost $ 300. I decline. They do their thing where they «hook you up» and drop it to $ 100. I really wanted the problem fixed and it seemed reasonable so I let them do it and miraculously the alert lights went off. About 3 hours later the light comes on and I knew I’d been screwed. So I took my car back up there and they added a fluid to my gas tank and said to let it run through and the light would switch off. It never did. I went back and a different manager said «I don’t know why he did the flush, but you could have a sensor out or something.» I was furious and left.
I will absolutely NEVER recommend another human give this company business. The employees are salesman, not mechanics.

I had terrible service, they didn’t top of my wiper fluid, were too busy trying to upsale anything they possibly could to drive up the bill, hadn’t been gone more than five minutes when my new vehicle began to leak oil. I’m not entirely sure what they did to my car, but I’m taking it somewhere else to make sure the oil change was even done correctly. Beware!

Never the same staff in this place. The turnover is constant. Every time I go I get different advice. Three times I’ve been told «I can’t believe someone told you to get that last time.» I’ll go elsewhere for an oil change now.

Experienced but ‘lazy’ car owner mechanic who just wanted a quick oil change. They’re going to ask you and harass you about ‘extras’ that are not necessary. Scam artists, avoid this place.

These guys are great! They do a great job inspecting your vehicle to make sure everything is going to run smoothly for you. When you first pull up they escort you into their lobby and explain where everything is ex. bathroom, hot coffee, magazines. Then they inspect your vehichle and walk you through what they’ve found. This time I had completely forgot I had lost my passanger wiper blade and they caught that for me and replaced it half price for me. :)

Shame on these guys. All I can say is STAY AWAY, or, if you’re in a bind and you have to go here, WATCH OUT!
So I’m not from OKC, just passing through town on a long trip. Not sure if that’s why these guys tried to take advantage of me, but I saw them do it to an older lady who was local, so I think it’s just in their nature.
Here’s how it went down:
Guy outside holding a «$ 19.99 oil change» sign… Me: Awesome, I need an oil change… Manager inside: So, do you want the $ 49, $ 59, or $ 69 oil… Me: Uhhh, I want the $ 19 oil… Manager: You need a new air filter, and, as you can see, you’re at 30k miles, so you need transmission service ($ 150)…Me: Uhhh, I hadn’t really planned on that, but if I need it, go ahead. — As they prepared to change the transmission fluid, I checked my service manual online; nothing about transmission service at 30k miles. Other blogs and articles specifically said NOT to service transmission at 30k miles. I hurried and told them to pass on the transmission service, and they didn’t even question me — the guilty know when they’ve been caught red handed.
Bottom line, you can bet these guys will try to screw you over. They tried to do it to me, and I watched as they did it to an older lady. We were the inly two people there, so my assumption is that they behave this way with everybody. I’d give them fewer than 1 star if I could. Stay away.
