Went on a colleagues recommendation for good biryani! So obviously ordered hyderabadi biryani, apparently their special! Everything was reasonably priced. I had a chicken biryani, chicken sheesh kabab and rice pudding.
The biryani was tasteless. Too salty, no spice, stale, cold and definitely nowhere close to hyderabadi biryani! Will not be trying their biryani anymore. However the sheesh kabab was perfect! Very well spiced, roasted and reminded me of home! The rice pudding was probably just pulled out of the refrigerator and served in a bowl cold, which is usually not how it is served. It’s served hot atleast back home. But nevertheless it tasted well. I actually ordered the sheer khorma and paid for it but they substituted with the rice pudding as they did not have that ready.
Probably go back for their kabobs, and try their paratha and curries! Definitely no biryani ever!

Horrible food! Wanted curry got a bowl of broth. No bread no rice no taste. Was not impressed with dirty décor or food. No thank you!

I have been to Kabob-​n-​Curry twice now. The food is good and the atmosphere is clean. There’s not much more to say about it. The portion sizes are quite large, normally enough to share between two people. The staff is polite but usually stay in the back unless you stand at the counter waiting patiently for their attention.

I dont understand why people have given this 4 star. Food quality is poor and bland. The worst of all chicken tikka kabob. Someone who named their restaurant as ‘kabob’ could not cook a decent plate of tikka n sheekh kabob. I can make better kabobs at home. I am not going back.

Relaxed, family-​operated restaurant. Portion size was excellent. The food tastes great!

The karahi was good. I got the biryani platter. The biryani was strictly ok. Decent place for decent price.

Nice people. Order a chicken saji to go. The rice dishes are a bit too oily for me. The spice level on everything else is nice. Mango lassi works only when in season and I wish their kheer had rose or orange blossom in it (or is that not authentic?). You could also just order some simple daal mash and roti. It takes hours for a chicken to be cooked at the halal meat market near there even if you order hours ahead of time! I think KnK has better chicken though. Note: the halal meat market does have good chai (Black cardamon).

Great Pakistani food. This is a casual good Yums kinda place. I highly recommend the chicken kabob with naan. The chicken samosa uses the same filler as the chicken kabob and is awesome flaky perfection. I also love the Haleem (a lentil and shredded meat dish) which is out of this world. I also tried the mutton karahi, which was a nice tomato based curry having hints of clove and cinnamon. The briyani is pretty good although I prefer naan and kabob and curries better. The mint chutney is a must try when you eat here. This place has fresh food and is very authentic. If I had to pick a local indian/​Pakistani restaurant, this is my first choice.

Anything mutton for me is always my choice, so if you’ve never had Pakistani food than this is the place to give it a try.

So this place is the very closest restaurant to my house, so I had to try it out. After a quick check with Unilocal to make sure I wasnt going to get sick or anything, I went in. First off, this is another place you are probably best off just getting to go. Very spartan interior with a cafeteria feel, but who cares? I gave this a five because, to be honest, I have nothing to compare it to. I could tell you this is the best Pakistani food Ive ever had… but its also the only Pakistani food Ive ever had. So I will give a 5 based on the fact that it was delicious and will assume its the best Pakistani food anywhere. Until another Pakistani place pops up as competition, the 5 stands!
The first time I went, I had absolutely no idea what to order. Given that I was clueless, I had resigned myself to a big bill because I was going to have to try everything. I do that sometimes when trying a new place. How I am not 500 lbs, I have no idea. Anyway, I was happy to see that they had platters so you could get a selection of different items. I tried the goat platter and it was a great introduction. They also have a chicken platter and some vegetarian platters. So you veg heads out there, you cant use no meat items as an excuse to not try this place.
So as the name indicates, they have Kebobs. I found the Kebobs to be very flavorful, a nice blend of meat and spices and cooked perfectly (not dry or chewy). The beef Seekh kebobs are probably my favorite, but be adventurous and try the Chapli Kebob. It is just as delicious.
They have a rice called Biryani that is beyond fantastic. I have been known to just get on order of the rice for dinner. I also really like the chicken Achari (a curry). It really is a toss up between these two dishes as to which is my favorite, so normally, I just order both and call it a night.
The naan is worth getting, especially the garlic naan. I have no idea if they make it in house or buy it, but it always seems fresh, soft and has a nice chew to it. Dip it in the curry, or the green sauce they provide and you will be in reincarnation.
But in all seriousness… if you are a little adventurous and want to try something new, run, dont walk to this place. You wont be disappointed.

I love the food here. Flavorful and perfect amount of spices. I ordered the Fish Curry (a special item cooked to order), vegetable biryani, and potato pratha bread.
I used to live in Oklahoma City and I stumbled upon this place one day and have been love ever since. I was driving thru OKC and made a special stop to eat here. Well worth it.
It is more of the «hole in the wall type place». I ordered off the menu but it looks like they have buffets as well.

This is my new takeout place. I was fortunate enough to be able to check this place out at the first Supper Club UYE. Thank you, Carly for setting everything up. If you are eating out with a large group, this is a wonderful place to go and eat, but if you are going out with the spouse or a friend, I think it is even better to do takeout. And from the amount of takeout orders I saw them fill while we were there, I think a lot of people feel this way. The restaurant layout is your typical strip mall layout and they serve the food on paper plates (which might bother some people, but it worked out just fine for us).
The food itself was great and had a spicy kick to it that I loved. I know that some people in our party didn’t care for the spice as much, but the cucumber dill sauce they provide you helps cool down some of that heat. For my taste, I could have had the spice kicked up even more, and I’m told that the vegetarian dishes have even more, so I will be trying that out next time. During this trip I had the kabob platter, and it was super yummy. The only item that was a little dry was the chicken kabob, but with the sauce it was quite good. The rest of my meal was awesome, and all of it was devoured.
I will definitely be returning to Kabob-​n-​Curry to grab takeout and will be trying out their vegetarian dishes.

Best Middle Eastern/​Pakistani restaurant in town.
I’ve frequented this place for a couple of years now. The food is very authentic. I usually go with the mutton platter (goat). It’s roughly 12.99, and it comes with mutton curry, kabob, rice, flat bread. The servings given are enough to satisfy 2 people, easily.
The décor is nothing really to write home about. Certainly not a place to take a date, so go with the carryout.
It’s locally owned and ran by a family, which is why I imagine the quality is so consistent. Kabob is a hidden gem here in Oklahoma.

UYE with the Unilocal OKC crew and it’s always a fun time! After all… Food is always better when you’re amongst friends :) I find that a lot of people order their food to go, but the interior isn quite comfy. Maybe not the most ideal place for a group of 10+ to fit together because most of the tables are rectangular. The staff was very accommodating though!
You get a butt load of food for about $ 11– platter with protein of choice and a plate of bread (fried of na’an– whatever is listed on the menu). I ordered the Kabob platter, which is a good starting point for those who want a taste of everything. I’m not very familiar with Pakastani style, but as others have mentioned– it is spicy! I can’t handle the spiciness of, I think, the rice. The beef kabob seemed to have a bit of a kick as well. Dose it with their creamy green/​white sauce and you’re good to go. Funny thing is… I ate my leftovers the next day and it was mild! I guess the fridge cooled the hot spice stuff down. The breads def taste better warm, so I would highly suggest polishing those things off first.

* Hnnnng spicy. I can take spicy but good balls that’s spicy. That’s a –personal– con, and I realize these foods are supposed to be spicy, so knock yourself out! My boyfriend loved it.
* Drinks by the can. I never really liked this.
Ordering one of the platters is always a good way to go. Lots of food and a variety of it for about $ 11.

We had the chance to visit Kabob-​n-​Curry as part of our first Oklahoma City UYE last week, and I think Carly did a great job for us! One of the neatest things about the mutton, beef kabob, and curry is that they really understand how to marry up the spices and flavors in such a way that one bite of overwhelming heat could be cut with another sauce that would then moderate the flavor. It was a culinary trick worthy of Hogwarts, and I was impressed. The platter portions were large (though I ate every bite with no trouble at all), and I’d say every bite of the wide variety of food I tried was yummy. The goat itself seemed a little dry, but I blame the goat; once I made sure to have plenty of sauce with each bite, we had a great meal.
The food far outclasses the restaurant itself, as it features typical strip-​mall-​rental-​space restaurant décor and they skimp on certain things you might expect (canned soda instead of drink dispensers, paper plates/​utensils). We saw a lot of takeout orders come and go as we ate, and I think that might be the right idea unless you’re there with 15 – 20 hungry Unilocalers. If you’re a fan of lots of reasonably-​priced food and won’t get too hung up on the Spartan amenities, you will love it.

YUM! We had the most enjoyable experience here for our first UYE and I think everyone was quite satisfied. The mutton platter was excellent! I loved that we got to try several different items from the menu on the platter. My least favorite part of the meal was the beef kabob, mine was a bit dry. The rice is very, very spicy but whatever the sauce is they give you, we were thinking it was some kind of dill/​cucumber sauce, really cools it down making it easier to eat. The heat was nice but thank goodness for the sauce! Good service, good prices, good eats and good people. Thank you to Carly N. for planning such a great first UYE! So excited for The Supper Club to continue.

Kabob N Curry was suggested by a few good friends of mine, I was told it was a Indian/​Pakistani place that served a fusion of both styles of dishes, I had never been to it so I figure I would go in and see what it was all about.
The first thing that became evident to me before I entered the restaraunt was that this place was very much geared to more Pakistani side of things. First thing I noticed on the door was the halal sign, what halal is a specific way that meat is prepared mostly for those of faith of Islam, as Pakistan is dominantly Islamic in it’s religion this is very important to those of the faith as they are not supposed to eat meat that is not served halal, most Indian food places will not put this up on their front door.
When I walked in I was greeted by a main at the counter, I asked if I could sit down and he told me that you order first and then sit down, so I took a look at the menu and I have to admit… I was a bit confused at first, even though I have eaten Pakistani food before I was a little confused on what came with the meal if anything, I knew the main dish I wanted to try was a Biryani rice dish (which I have had before at my favorite Pakistani restaurants in the southern california area). But then the clerk explained that I could order what was basically a combo meal, which included the biryani rice, a meat in curry (beef/​chicken), a kabob (beef i believe), as well as naan bread
One thing that I was not prepared for was there was no soda fountain, if you want a soda you purchase it by the can which you take from their refrigerator (not a big deal), also they have a dispener for water if you would like just water.
The food itself was pretty good, the biryani rice was cooked very homemade style, like you were eating at someones home, the kabob was somewhat on the spicy side of things than what I was used to, the meat in curry sauce was very good, and the naan bread was very good as well. The waiter asked if I wanted this thing that I cannot spell (chaulk’ny?), i instinctively responded yes and I am glad I did because I have tasted it before and it goes well with rice! Cost of the meal was your typical $ 10 – 13 range
All in all a very good place to eat if you want to try something knew and to my knowledge it is the only Pakistani restaurant in OKC! If you wanna try Pakistani food come to Kabob N Curry!

I usually order the chicken platter which consists of chicken biryani, chicken curry, seekh kabob chicken, and naan bread. I’m not a huge fan of the rice because it’s usually too dry but everything else tastes great! I highly recommend the potato naan bread! The rice, curry, and kabob tasted a little spicy but nothing I couldn’t handle. I liked it like that but just a warning to those of you who don’t like spicy foods. The food is cooked once the order is placed so it will take about 15 mins til it’s done.
The restaurant itself is definitely not glamorous. Hardly anyone ever dines in but lots of people do carry out orders. There’s a shelf of foods for sale including Sriracha sauce, condensed milk, cookies… basically things you could find at an Asian grocery store.
The food is served on Dixie paper plates and bowls. Yea, not classy but whatever works! The important part is the food. Also, everyone who works here is super nice!
