McBride Clinic Orthopedic Hospital

Although this hospital rocks, as a few of family members/​friends have been treated here and have had an excellent experience, the reason I’m writing this review is for the cafeteria.
They have an AWESOME selection of healthy food and salad bar that I crave — and it’s open to the public! So when I work within a mile of it — and I have a choice of fast food or a healthy leafy green grilled chicken salad with a salad bar for toppings — I’m going to go to their cafeteria every time!
Seriously, it’s ridiculously amazing, and I get a fully stocked yummy salad with a side of cottage cheese/​pears and a beverage for under 7 dollars. Really? Tell me where you can get that in the city?
Now they weigh your food, and you pay using this system — so your fully stocked yummy salad may be more than mine if you’re loading up more than me. BUT — I still know you’ll be pleased.

My dad just had his second hip replacement here with Dr. Mitchell. The hospital is 100% physician owned, and it shows. The facility is very nice, and I love that it is a safer place to have an orthopedic surgery than a traditional hospital because there are not sick people here, Just people who need new parts.
Also, much different from a regular hospital, McBride is small, so parking is easy and you can get in and out very quickly. The location is convenient and the staff is friendly. It seems like an overall more pleasant experience than having to be at a regular hospital where anyone you might encounter could be facing the worst moment of their lives. Most people here are starting a journey that will improve their quality of life, and as a result it’s less somber than what you think of when you think of a hospital.
Both of my dad’s surgeries went well, the nurses and orderlies were pleasant, and of course, Dr. Mitchell is amazing!

Best Hospital in Oklahoma City.

We’re frequent visitors of the cafeteria. Food is always good, and the staff is so friendly. Salad bar is a great value too. I can get out of there for around 2 bucks!
