What a great old area of town! When I was little I remember taking walks in the fall with other kids from st.lukes. The leaves always had a great smell to them and there were tons of squirrels. That’s been 20 years or so ago… It hasn’t changed a bit. Walking score of 15 out of 10 here folks!

Beautiful, old OKC neighborhood. Worth driving or strolling through *any* time of year– but at Christmas it’s pure magic. The gorgeous stately homes are all aglow. And the crown jewel is the«Mestalights» display at 19th and Olie where the home has lights that dance to Yuletide tunes played on their very own radio frequency.

Went to the 20th Anniversary event and it was a lot of fun — food trucks, music and beer garden. My only complaint would be that the beer garden forced you to buy an admission for $ 20. I was there with my family so I would have loved to be able to just try a beer or two without having to pay $ 20.

This is a small, but very nice park. There is a playground that’s great for kids. There are two sand volleyball courts too for adults(and kids) to play on. There is also a nice gazebo for shade. Bring your blanket though if you want to have a picnic because I don’t recall any tables.

Great neighborhood park. Friendly people, clean playground, two sand volleyball courts and for the time being, free wi-fi!(Thanks, neighbor!) Usual crowd is age 2 — 42. Beautiful area any time of year!

Mesta park is so great it has a neighborhood named after it. There are sets of swings for swinging, seats for sitting and two volley ball nets for vollyballing. Quiet enought that it’s a great place to lay out on the weekend, maybe stop in at the near by Taco or Phở place and bring the picnic to the park. Let me know if anyone is down to LARP!
