Julia’s Old Forge Hotel

Our waitress is one of the reviewers. She told me that the other waitresses name that works here is also named Jessica… so basically only employees have left reviews… seems a bit biased, no? To be fair, the cilantro sauce as they call it that is given with your chips is awesome. The broth to the sopa de Lima soup is excellent. Te red salsa is clearly a low cost jar and not made freshly. The guacamole was far too smooth and was not fresh. Their drinks are definitely potent but not enough to forget my chicken enchilada. It was an unseasoned chicken breast wrapped in a fried tortilla that they dumped canned stewed tomatoes on… gross. The dessert was stale. To ad insult to injury, I got to hear our waitresses entire conversation with a cook about a girl she doesn’t like. I her numerous profanities from a-​f. Her favorite seemed to start with the letter c… I won’t be back.

Delicious food! They have choices from Mexican food to American. The chicken chimichanga’s are the best I’ve tasted in this area. Also, the rain forest tilapia is mouthwatering! The deserts are made in her kitchen and are exquisite. They have a great drink menu I love the release valve. Julia’s dinning room is small and inviting.

Service was great, even on a busy Saturday night with a bachelorette party in the bar. I never liked mojito’s til I had one at Julia’s, will definitely return in the warmer months for outdoor seating (it’s a non-​smoking bar) also, after reading another review just thought I’d clarify that I am not, in fact, an employee and never have been affiliated with Julia’s. Just a please customer :)
