History

Established in 1976.

Started by Russ Rackliffe from a long standing line of locksmiths. Starting out in a small spot on Westbrook to our original storefront in Old Saybrook, we have now becaome a strictly mobile service covering the entire Connecticut shoreline.

With current owner Rick Bayuk in place and Russ happily in semi retirement, Rackliffe Lock & Safe is positioned to meet the demands of all current security needs.

As Russ will be traveling south for the winters, he will return in the summers to service the customer base he so proudly founded.

Rick is not a newcomer to the locksmith industry. A locksmith for 25 years, he has learned how to work with other locksmiths and service the customer base in a special and unique way.

Married with 5 children he continues to be on the cutting edge of this industry’s top product and services and can deliver to his customer base before anyone else.
