The food is bland. There isn’t a big variety of Chinese food. Their attempt at Southern cuisine is laughable. The décor is cheap and offensively stereotypical. It isn’t well-ventilated, resulting in a humid atmosphere. I will not return.

11÷8÷2015. All items of fried food, sesame chicken, Gen. Tso’s chicken, okra, corn nuggets, etc. were terrible tonight. The fried rice was way below par. The time we ate there previously was much better, Maybe they need to change out their oil.

We came here after the wait times were to long at some of the other places around… I am generally super«anti-buffet» so getting me into one is not usually going to happen. My wife and kids actually have been here several times when I have been busy doing something else or whatever. So, I’m starving after already been to Mellow Mushroom and Corky’s already. I agree to head to the buffet. We get there and my kids immediately scurry off for food. This is strange, generally my kids can’t stand anywhere we go really, and bitch about it the entire time. Instead they are attacking this buffet like little refugees that haven’t eaten in days. The food was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Of course, all of the food was somewhat bland to overly salty and the rice was dry and sticky but it really wasn’t that bad. There where a couple of things that were really good. I think you have to eye the refill schedule and coordinate your trips accordingly. My wife had some sushi and is still alive after a week or so, that’s a plus. My kids ended with a trip to the ice cream machine and loaded up on sweets before we left. Overall, this is one of the best nights out with my 8 and 9 year old daughters. They ate, were happy, and got ice cream. I may even go back… Sup wit that

Walked in earlier tonight with 4 families for a total of 13. The staff quickly put together a long table to accomidate us. They also quickly brought out drinks. We all enjoyed the buffet; lots of items to choose from and all looked fresh and yummy. Great choice if sushi items as well. Kids enjoyed the soft serve ice cream. Waitress had no broblem providing seperate checks.

Ordinary, average, Americanized Chinese food in the same place on the same steam table you see in every other ‘Hunan’. Somehow I’m confident the watery red sauce with floating fried chicken pieces is not a good representation of General Tsau. Nothing special and they serve Pepsi Products which is just enough to make this a take out — only in an emergency place. It’s a buffet. so…it is what it is.

Ok, I know this a buffet, there is not to much to say… or is it?! I went to this place 6 years ago when we first moved here and I hated it, I promised never to come back and I did, until a month ago that a friend of mine told me it was a new administration and that the owners were very nice and very CLEAN!, so this caught my attention, because in my experience with buffets they’re always in the nasty side and greasy. Well, not this place. The people super nice, friendly and with manners, the place clean, the food good and not greasy(at least not what I choose) They have surprisingly good sushi rolls and a lot of variety. I hope they keep it up so I can keep going, this being a very good option to go on a busy day with the kiddos.

On a random excursion to a couple of antique stores out in the Olive Branch vicinity, the husband and I stopped in here for lunch. We weren’t aware when we pulled in that it was a buffet, and we probably would have bypassed it all together had we known. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. Hunan is well decorated and appears to be very clean. This is always a bonus when it comes to Chinese buffets as most leave a lot to be desired in this department. The food was your typical, average Chinese buffet. All the normal fixin’s — fried rice, crab rangoons, lo mein, pot stickers, sesame chicken, the random dessert bar with soft serve ice cream and odd little desserts. Hunan does offer sushi options. Now before you question my sanity, I would never eat«real» sushi from a buffet. Hunan’s sushi options are all cooked– think california rolls and variations there of. They were surprisingly the best thing on the buffet. Hunan has a very attentive staff, my glass was constantly refilled with lemonade every time I took a sip– no seriously. So make sure you bring some singles to tip those make shift buffet waiters.
