History
Established in 2014.
Live, Love, Barbeque! Southern Pride BBQ was born of a desire to love and serve. Owner Jack Ayers has a heart the size of Texas! He wanted to open a BBQ joint that served Quality Texas-Style Brisket as well as great Pork BBQ. As he sought a Pit Master with the Skills and Heart to fit the bill, the name Evan Riddle was mentioned more than once. People spoke of the amazingly tender and juicy Brisket and BBQ Pork he served to friends at gatherings and as a fundraiser for different Ministries at Hope Church. Jack contacted Evan asked him to bring a sample. Jack was HOOKED by the first bite! Evan recruited a team of friends with Skills and Passion for BBQ and a Love of People. Thus Southern Pride BBQ was born!

Jack A.
Business Owner
Jack is a man who knows what’s really important in Life: People and the Relationships built with them. A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, his path has led all over the world and he tells great stories of his adventures and the Life Lessons he learned along the way. To make a broad summary, he learned to love and appreciate Life, to help and encourage people by being kind and offering friendship and comraderie to each person he meets. He has owned a few Successful Restaurants in the past, but this is his first go at BBQ. You’ll see him at Southern Pride BBQ often, talking to Patrons, asking questions about their meal and making sure our customers are HAPPY (!) and our food is consistently DELICIOUS! He really Cares about making your dining experience the very best it can be.
