Excellent quality and beautiful design hardware.

–I received both a replacement knob and a personal message from the owner. They made things right.
–They really do have a cool and unique selection and good prices that were better than anywhere else (I looked). So I would have reordered from them regardless of the defective knob but I appreciate them making things right.
–For whatever reason they did not get my first e-​mail that was a reply to the original order. Apparently the order confirmation is an automatic e-​mail generated by their payments system. I think they should probably block that e-​mail address from accepting replies if they are not read. I think next time if I have a problem I will call instead.
–They said that some of the clearance items I ordered might have been a little banged up by the supplier. They also said they will take a closer look when sending clearance items out. The items were in the original packaging so any bumps or dings were not from them. This is probably understandable when ordering discontinued items that are a few years old. Next time I will order a few extras just in case. That’s easy enough for me to do with items that were marked down to $ 1. I think it’s probably only an issue for clearance items or if you are ordering matching knobs for your old knobs. The newer black and white knobs I ordered were pristine.

We ordered 82 knobs and pulls for our new construction kitchen and master bathroom. We looked at LOTS of online and retail stores. D. Lawless has the best prices and best selection of the re-​produced vintage hardware we were looking for.
We ordered them on Thursday afternoon and received them via USPS on Monday. Super fast to the west coast! The package was well packed. Free shipping over $ 50 order. (Side note: I LOVE that they use the flat-​rate USPS boxes. I wish more companies would take advantage of that service and the customer shipping fees.)
Unfortunately, we had 2 knobs and 2 pulls that were damaged from the factory. I called D. Lawless and they sent us knew ones that we received today. They are perfect.
I would highly recommend them based on their quick response, excellent customer service and very quality product. I had the opportunity to share our experience with our interior decorator who was looking for a good hardware company.
We will purchase from them again.

Terrible customer service, was sent the wrong color I ordered, it took them a month to respond — they wanted me to send back the items (I had already put them on back in February) when all I asked for was a credit for the difference. I paid $ 3 a piece to redo two dressers and they sent items that were $ 1.87 a piece. Stay away, they will scam you out of money.

These are great people to do business with. Their prices are the lowest I could find (and I searched thoroughly). Their selection is good — not the biggest but enough to give you multiple choices in every category. I placed two orders on a Thursday and had my product by Saturday. Both orders were very well packaged and completely accurate.
I also like their website. It adds a little human touch and humor in places.
