Came here last night with my husband for the first time. Very small place, but I like hole-in-the-wall places… There was 1 waiter who was very attentive and pleasant. We ordered Curry Puffs and Tofu for apps. Loved the curry puffs and they came with a cucumber/onion relish type thing that was slightly sweet. The tofu was very light and airy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I didn’t like the dipping sauce it came with as much as the curry puff one, but still decent. For my main dish I ordered drunken noodles which had the same puffy tofu(you can pick the meat) and tomatoes. I thought it was kind of lacking on the tomatoes(just 2 pieces) and although the waiter promised me it wouldn’t be too spicy(cause I know how Thai food can be), it was pretty damn spicy. I mean it was right at the borderline of not enjoying it, but it was still delicious so I powered thorough. My husband got a seafood dish(came with rice) and he asked for a bit of spice to his, and his was even spicier than mine! When we mentioned about the food being too spicy on our way out the waiter said, oh next time let me know I can fix it. Not sure how they can take away spice, but lesson learned. Well we still enjoyed it, and the heat was not as bad the next day for leftovers, so will definitely come back and try more. Prices were reasonable.

This is our favorite dinner take-out option in the Olney area. The sauce for the spring rolls alone makes me drool and has convinced my daughter that Thai food is worth exploring. I usually get the drunken noodles and my husband gets the Pad Woonsen. The mango sticky rice dessert is also amazing, and they will tell you if mango is out of season and thus not as tasty that day. You can also ask for more or less spice in your selected entrée. We have never eaten in-house there; there are only a few tables. But it’s totally worth the drive to pick up. Delivery is also available.

Thai fooooood! I live really close to Thai Cuisine but that’s not the reason why I go here… The food is so damn good! I typically get take out or delivery but have eaten inside once. Beware, the place is pretty small and they’re staffed based on necessity, so don’t come here expecting exceptional service — though they are very friendly! My go to dishes: — Pad Pik Khing: I find the chicken is rather dry and sucks up too much of the sauce, so I prefer to get the beef. There are tons of string beans! Yum. I like my string beans on the softer side, so I’ll stick to ordering this one for take out(where they can sit in the closed container, as opposed to being served immediately on a plate). — Pad Ka Pow: very flavorful… tons of meat and a decent amount of bell peppers. — Kao Pad Kee Mao(drunken fried rice) — Pad Thai: the tofu one is the besssttt. The tofu is already a teeeny bit sweet on its own and having it with the noodles and peanuts just adds so much to the flavor. — Curry Puffs: the only annoying thing about these is that it only comes 2 per order… and they’re not very big. :( Side note: The last time I was at Thai Cuisine I got regular white rice with my dish instead of the jasmine rice. Not cool. =\

Great food! We had the chicken satay which was tender and flavorful with a thick yummy peanut sauce. Then we ordered 3 dishes for 2 adults and 3 kids, and took leftovers home. We got chicken green curry — the large chunks of eggplant and the curry base were delicious! They claimed to be spicy but I thought it could use a little more heat so I’ll definitely ask next time. We also got the spicy chicken with green beans and chicken pad-sew. Both were delicious but if you like spicy food, definitely ask for more peppers. It was perfect for kids. We ate in because of our schedules but I would probably just do carry out in the future. The place is tiny but since we were the only patrons eating in, we didn’t mind. Otherwise, the place was busy with lots of regulars coming in and out with their orders. Looking forward to my next carry out trip here!

I have been looking for a Thai place that served good food in Maryland since I moved here seven years ago. This place delivers. Quite small with only six tables, they make great food. Fairly standard selection for an American Thai place, but great favors. I would recommend this place.

Yes. Ordered the usual for me, panang beef and thai dumplings. They used the thai name for the dumplings so I didn’t spot them oroginally, but after reading over everything I found them. They were delicious! A fried option for them would be nice, as I’ve found that some places. The panang beef was absolutely phenomenal. Definitely the best I’ve had in a while. Ordered the standard mild, and it was spicier than most place, which I don’t mind but that’s something to keep in kind. Also had an order of the cashew chicken which was also liked. Definitely a surprise with how good this place was! I will definitely be back when visiting hkme.

Lunch special is awesome, 7.95 for a variety of meals which include salad or lemongrass chicken soup. The portions are pretty big as well. I left feeling quite full. Pad see ew, pad kee Mao all came with tons of meat and veggies. Thai places are usually overpriced for what it is but this restaurant has fair prices and large portions.

Excellent! We were tired of Ruan Thai(so SLOW) and I wanted something out of a busy area. This place is small and actually cute — nice wood floors, pleasant colors on the walls, not a dive by any description. We’ve come twice and food was excellent. We had: Tom Ka soup with shrimp Red curry with shrimp Pad Thai shrimp and squid with lime and chili sauce — can’t remember name — Yum Talay? All delicious. Would go back this weekend if guests weren’t arriving. Maybe I’ll take them! Less cooking for me. Prices were also good. Highly recommend.

You can’t beat a delicious $ 7.95 lunch special. My friend, and I went into get a quick bite to eat, we weren’t excepting anything great or filling but we were wrong. The food quantity is a bit on the larger size but that isn’t a substitute for quality. They run a lunch special from 11:30AM — 3:00PM. We ordered Kao Pad, Drunken noodles, and two Thia Iced Tea, which came out to be $ 23.11([7.95*2]+[2.95*2]+1.31{taxes}). Lunch under $ 25 at a family run restaurant is rarity these days. Definitely try this place out, you won’t be disappointed! Good delicious food in large portions cheap! They also delivery via their website, GrubHub, and Unilocal!Eat24. P. S. There is a $ 10 minimum for credits; they only accept MasterCard & Visa

I’ve been here several times for take-out pad Thai and been happy every time. Didn’t love the drunken noodles or dessert rice but that’s probably just preference.

I felt i needed to do a much more in-depth review compared to my last one, especially since it is the best in Olney and i have tried so many items that a couple lines couldn’t do it justice and to inform anyone wondering about certain dishes The Spring Rolls are always a standard that I can trust, it comes with a sweet and sour dipping sauce that complements the crispness Chicken Satay has a subtle seasoning and two dipping sauces, a sweet peanut sauce and cucumber sauce which is light and refreshing The mix of crab, shrimp and chicken in the Kanoom Jeeb is a delight wrapped in a wonton skin, the Thai soy sauce has more flavor then a standard soy sauce and pairs with it well I really like the texture of the Fried Tofu, it isn’t too soft on the outside like you find in many places, much more firm and golden fried, come with sweet and sour sauce Tom Yum soup has a sharp flavor of lemongrass that is a great appetizer choice, recommend getting it talay which is shrimp, scallops and squid Been a while since I had the Tom Ka but I recall it being rich, rarely have it since it is heavy on the coconut broth The Pad Thai is nicely flavored, perhaps the go to standard of any Thai menu, but is very well executed here, the noodles are well marinated, which some places can screw up, but not here The Kee Mao has more kick then I first would have expected from the chilies, but it a manageable kick and it contrasts both the more mild Pad See Ew noodles marinated in Thai soy sauce The Panang Curry is a relatively mild red curry that has some heat but not as hot as one would expect, The Gang Keow Whan green curry seems about the same heat as the Panang but comes with bamboo shoots and eggplant so typically prefer that. It is quite hearty being made with coconut milk so I don’t get it often and I should note also the level of heat I describe is mild in comparison to other places which and make you sweat in seconds, but at the same time I have seen people have it who aren’t used to spicy foods have a hard time with it, just depends on your experience and tolerance with Thai curries When it comes to entrees I tend towards spicier dishes, so my memory of the mild dishes is lacking for the most part, but recall enjoying the sweetness of the Pad Peaw Whan, it is very different then the flavor of sweet and sour dishes from a Chinese place for sure, I ultimately prefer Thai style Pad Ka Pow has a heat that seems to creep up on you over time, a little garlic, basil and chili goes a long way, they offer it Talay style with shrimp, scallops and squid which i recommend Pad Num Pik Pow is a recent favorite of mine, with a healthy mix of bell pepper and onions, it has a texture that greatly complements the chili paste which has a distinct sweet and spicy flavor My all time favorite would have to be the Pad Pik Khing, it uses a transcendent curry paste over string beans that grabs you in such a way that makes you come back for more After all those tasty items it is best to finish with Fresh Mango and Sticky Rice, a sweet palate cleanse Hands down not just the best Asian option, Delivery option, etc, but the best in Olney

I have eaten from Thai Cuisine many many times over the past few years, so a review is long overdue. Everything I’ve ordered has been high quality, but if I had to choose a «go-to dish», the Pad Num Pik Pow with tofu would be it, with chicken satay and spring rolls on the side. The flavors and textures contained within are multitudinous and mind-blowing. The spicy dishes are«just right.» Lovers of the zing won’t be disappointed, while rookies won’t be overwhelmed. A close second is the Pad Ka Pow Talay, a spicy seafood dish(shrimp, scallops, squid). My inner gourmand quickly becomes my outer gourmand when a plate of this sits in front of me. Thus, I order it sparingly. I would be remiss to ignore the Mango with Sticky Rice. It is the only dessert they offer, yet it is the only dessert you need. Trust me. The fresh, sweet taste makes everything – lips, tongue, throat – do the Snoopiest Snoopy dance this side of «It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown.»

My husband and I ate at Thai Cuisine for the first time tonight, and we were both absolutely delighted with the food and service! My Panang curry with mixed vegetables was the perfect combination of savory, sweet and spicy, and the mix of peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn, cauliflower, basil, and other vegetables were super fresh. My husband said his combination chicken & pork Pad Ga Prow was heavenly, too. He’s into super-spicy food and said the spice level was perfect… And he’s hard to please when it comes to spice! For dessert, we had the Thai classic mango & sticky rice, and it was equally divine. A great meal all around, so we will definitely be back for more!

Sorry we waited so long to try this place. I am not a big fan of spicy food so I never wanted to go here. My wife and I decided to try it for a change. I had beef with veggies and my wife had salmon and veggies. Both meals were very good and mine was not spicy at all. Service was fast and the portions were large for the price. I will definitely be back!

This is the best Thai restaurant in the area. The food is fresh, seasoned properly and tastes relatively authentic. The dishes that I frequently have are the drunken noodles, pad Thai, green curry and Panang curry. Their drunken noodles is my go to, with the perfect balance of sweet, savory and spicy. It’s delicious with any meat but I prefer seafood or beef. The noodles have a nice layer of sauce caramelized on the surface. Perfect for hangovers like the name suggests or with a pilsner style of beer. The pad Thai is very tasty but if you ask for the red chili sauce and the vinegar sauce on the side the flavors are perfectly balanced. You get just the right amount of spicy and sour to counterbalance the sweetness of the dish. But don’t have any plans afterwards you’ll probably want a nap since the portion is huge. Their green curry and Panang curry are well prepared, nothing exceptional but you get a good portion. Great for next day convenient lunch at work.

We got tons of take out from Thai Cuisine recently. They only deliver within a 3 mile radius, and we were at about 3.5 miles, so we made a trip to the restaurant. It is TINY inside, though it’s nicely decorated and very clean. This would not be a place to take a group just based on the size, but sometimes it’s more fun to eat at home anyway. I tried all of the following, and I thought it was all definitely above average but not necessarily life changing: –Pad Thai: Good flavor, not overly peanut-y, kept well for leftovers, maybe a little heavy on the bean sprouts –Chicken Kao Pad Kee Mao: good flavor, probably not the best chicken/rice dish I’ve ever had but not bad –Veggie Kao Pad Kee Mao: crazy spicy to the point that I really couldn’t eat it :( –Cashew Chicken: Really yummy, chicken seemed pretty high quality(no real mystery meat concerns), would have liked more sauce and veggies –Chicken Pad Ka Pow Country: pretty spicy but tolerable, lots of great veggies including green beans, was great leftover We weren’t asked to specify our preferred spice level for any of these dishes, but with the exception of the Veggie Kao Pad Kee Mao, everything was pleasantly spicy(maybe 2 on a scale of 1 – 5). The portions were really generous – each dish was at least two meals worth. I thought it was fairly priced. I would probably come back to Thai Cuisine!

The majority of my family was in town visiting my grandpa and DC this past weekend. We decided to get take-out from Thai Cuisine after tracking it down on Unilocal. We were all thoroughly impressed. The location was a little hard for our GPS to track down because it’s such a small shop. There isn’t a whole lot of seating and it’s clearly more of a take-out place. We ordered: Pad Ka Pow Country(with chicken) Cashew Chicken Pad Thai Authentic Thai Beef Salad Kao Pad Kee Mao(drunken fried rice)(two orders one veggie and one chicken) Something with coconut milk but I couldn’t tell you what it was. Everything we ordered was delicious. As good as I’ve had anywhere else. The drunken fried rices were inconsistent(the veggie order was unbearably spicy, we couldn’t eat it, but that was the only downside of the entire meal). Even after tossing one dish we still had enough for all six of us, and enough left over for an extra six individual meals. Next time I’m visiting in Silver Springs I’ll be making a return visit.

My entire family loves getting carry out from Thai Cuisine. The customer service is great and the Green and Red Curry is amazing! Among other dishes we like are the Pad Thai and Pad Peaw Whan with Chicken. We always order extra rice because the serving are smaller than what we are used to. Truly delicious restaurant!

Great place to satisfy your Thai food craving. Food is great and service is good. Nice clean décor for Asia dining. Place is small(seats 20 max) & parking is tricky. Food service is made to order and plan for ~20−30 mins either ordering in or carry-out. Hours of operations are unique and forget when they are closed(ie. sun lunch & mon). Overall, this place is a winner for Thai food. Mainly for carry-out due to limited seatings.
