Established in 1990.

Senior partner Melissa Denton has been helping clients with their family law needs since 1990. After working for another lawyer, she started her practice in 1991 and joined firms with James Ascher in 1995 to create Ascher & Denton, PLLC. A family law firm that helps people move on with life with the least pain possible.

Business Owner

I’ve practiced family law since 1990. I’m married with one son and a cat named Spot. I earned my black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate just before starting law school and don’t find it necessary to frequently use the physical part of those skills. I love my work and helping people.

I also started another business in 2008. It is called Advantage Denton and we help people find the right lawyer.
