Apple fritters and maple bars to die for! Ok, maybe just to splurge for. Love this family operated business.

The cider is excellent. The staff are down home folks with positive attitudes. The store and grounds are charming, clearly cared for, and always under improvement. This place is a local treasure.

I posted a super detailed review but don’t really believe in spreading the negativity. I just felt this place had an extremely bad vibe. Have been a long time customer and will never return. It’s gone far down hill with customer service.

An amazing place for kids, decent for adults. I’m not too much into farm animals but there were a lot of them to look at and also feed. My friend and I mainly went for the cider, and also just as a fun activity to do in the fall time. The lines were pretty long on a Saturday afternoon but the APPLE FRITTERS were absolutely worth the wait. So get them and get lots of them! I’ve seen people buy dozens at a time. I walked away with some fresh apples (pink ladys are my favorite) as well as some award winning cider! They have tasting area so you can taste all the different kinds of cider they have before you buy them. Have you tried cider slush? It’s delicious. The farm also has a small pumpkin patch as well as a food truck area where you can grab some good ol’ BBQ.

Neat looking place, lots of animals to feed and pet, cool little country store, however, not a good place to buy a pumpkin. While I understand waiting until a week before Halloween might limit my options, my family and I couldn’t find any mid sized to large sized pumpkins left. The few smaller sized pumpkins available mostly had damage or rot. Might have been fun a couple of weeks ago but not now. No hay rides, children’s rides, or other advertised attractions.

The farm was great with the amount of activities for kids. Our kids loved feeding the goats and the petting rabbits. There were jumpees, and pony rides. Everything was reasonably priced. It was all disappointing when we stood in line for their store in hopes of getting apple cider donuts for about 45 minutes. Then when we got to the cashier we found out they didn’t have anymore donuts. It was disappointing they didn’t notify the people standing in line. Otherwise they would have gotten 4 stars.

We had heard great things about this place, so we drove 2 hours to get there. After our day here, I would say Lattin’s is an absolute joke!!! Their site says it is free parking and admission, just to be charged $ 5 when you pull in to the driveway. Next, you wait 10 minutes in line to get tickets to do anything. We opted out. Waited in line to pay for our pumpkins for another 10 minutes. Everyone kept raving about the apple fritters, so we headed to the store. Waited in line for 30 minutes just to get up to the cash register!!! At this point, we tried to order an apple fritter and were told it would be yet another 20 minute wait. We did not wait, and will not return. I made a comment to my husband that this place is terrible, and another woman stopped next to me just to say she agreed. You can’t expect to operate as small family business when you are obviously very commercialized and all about the money. Terrible service and blatant lies.

This was an awesome little farm. We went the first day of the Apple Festival. There was so much to see and do. The kids loved seeing all the animals. Everything was laid out very nicely. We got a bunch of yummies at the farms shop. We got apple doughnuts, Apple fritters, flavored honey, Apple butter and a few other things. Plus two different pies. Their mulled hot cider was some of the best I’ve ever had. We took a few gallons home. The only thing I would have to say that I didn’t like was to go see or do anything on the farm you have to buy tokens. For a family of 5 it can pretty pricey if you want to do everything on the farm. However with that said I understand why they charge, I just wished they would state that in their website. Fortunately I had cash, but for those who didn’t bring cash they would have been out of luck. And there is no ATM close by. The vendors do take card though. All in all it a great family place to go. The pumpkin patch is so cute with a large variety of pumpkins to choose from. We got 5 large pumpkins and spent just a little over $ 20.

I’m new to the PNW and was looking for some fun fall activities for my children. I called Lattin Country Cider Mill to verify their hours of operation that I saw online. What I got was a snarky response in a rude tone about how they’ve been open seven days a week since last June. Well, that’s lovely, but I just moved here. I will never visit or contact them again. All the staff member had to do was confirm their hours not snap at me for not knowing. Welcome to the PNW I guess. :(

Pretty farm, a lot of goats, chickens and pigs to feed :) We had fun and got some yummy food. Will definitely come back on an other weekend!

I absolutely love Lattins. It is a really great place to visit anytime of the year. There is always something going on… From the fall weekend festivals, to the Easter egg hunt, to the excitement of the baby animals in the spring. Kiddos looooove it here! Get some bags of feed from the little market and you’ll make the sheep and goats very, very happy (watch the bag… They’ll eat those!)
I am particularly fond of their little market. I’ve been able to purchase some delightful quail eggs which were perfect for pickling. They also carry eggs from their chickens, which are so delicious. But it’s really the meat here that makes me happy! I’ve never purchased a cut of meat that wasn’t perfect. Most recently I purchased a pot roast that totally wowed dinner guests who then asked where I bought it. It makes me so happy to say that it came from a local farm! The soup bones are hard to come by, and on my most recent trip they were out. The girl at the counter did take my name and number in case they had more come in.
The baked goods are my daughter’s favorite. I can’t eat them but she swears by their cookies!

Love this place. There are animals that you can feed (chickens, pigs, sheep, goats and turkey) great place to bring the kids. I recommend getting their apple fritters on the weekends only. Also, get their apple cider. Their fruits are fresh and organic. I recommend this place to anyone.

Pretty cute little farm! Good prices on apples and produce, and we had fun feeding the animals. Will definitely go back this fall when they’re in the peak of Apple picking and it’s cider time!

We went there just this past weekend with our 2yo toddler and he enjoyed the heck out of this place! We were able to see a LOT of goats, baby goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and sheep. It was completely free to stop and check out, which is almost unheard of these days. I’m sure there’s a lot more going on during the summer, but it was still neat in March. It wasn’t crowded when we were there, which made it even better.
As has been previously mentioned, there is a store with a ton of their own products. Some products were from elsewhere. There were pies, cheeses, freash fruit/​vegetables, jams, jellies, donuts, apple fritters, cider, cider, and more cider.
Based on a previous review, I’ll definitely be going back soon to get some unpasteurized cider for home brew purposes. That’s a great idea!

Great place for AMAZING, CHEAP, and DELICIOUS food and fun activities for fall festivities!!! No entrance fee either. Parking is $ 5 or park on the side of the road for free like most people, it’s not a far walk. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was fun to feed the animals, $ 2 for 4 packages of animal food. $ 5 for a HUGE baked potato with loads of chili and sour cream and sprinkle of cheese, $ 2 apple fritters that are TO DIE FOR, $ 2.50 for the most addicting apple cider slush. Also cheap pumpkins and I heard the apple cider donuts were out of this world, $ 4 for a dozen, but I couldn’t get my hands on them because they were gone so quick. I saw a family grab 5 boxes of them! From children to adults, this is the best family bonding or date day for any age.
Btw wear a pair of old sneakers or boots. Of course it’s muddy and messy but it’s not that bad. Remember to bring your cameras for unforgettable memories!

Best apple fritters! Be prepared to wait in line for at least 20 – 30 min. But it’s worth the wait for warm apple fritters. The pumpkins this year were already all rotten and picked over so maybe go early in October If you need a pumpkin, but it’s still worth the trip for the apple cider and donuts. The staff is sweet and friendly too.

I’m appalled by the treatment of their chickens. As a «family friendly farm» I would have expected their flock to be in healthy condition. Many birds were with their feathers pecked raw and bleeding due to their confinement, boredom and lack of available food. One chicken in particular was unable to escape the relentless pecking from other birds, resulting in severe bleeding. I understand there will be squabbles amongst chickens but drawing blood clearly indicates a management issue which needs to be addressed. Leaving a bloodied chicken in a pen will cause unrelenting viscousness and eventually kill the bird.
I’ve enjoyed Lattin’s and their AMAZING fritters (and cider!), but I cannot support such cruelty to animals. Not only is it unethical, but it’s traumatic for kids to see.

A cute place to entertain the kids for a little while. They have a nice little store with local produce, they sell their own jams, pies and fresh eggs. You can buy a bag of feed to feed the animals at the farm (only 60 cent) Their prices are good and their doughnuts and fritters are great but they could use a little improving:
First, Clean up a little. This place has so much potential! It is very nicely landscaped in a few areas, it wouldn’t take much to move their piles of junk and nicely landscape the rest of the land. It has potential to be a great place for events, like weddings, but needs sprucing up.
Second, Make apple fritters every day! They make donuts every day so why not apple fritters? That’s what most people love about this place, besides the cider.
I went on a Monday and they had leftover fritters from the day before that they were selling. They were Buy one get one free since they were day old but I can’t wait to try a fresh one!

I drove here from Federal Way specifically for the cider. I was able to purchase 7 gallons unpasteurized (I asked specifically for unpasteurized and signed a waiver for it) for my home hard cider making purposes.
I was pleased to find lots of great local farm items for sale, they had many different flavors of cider (the cherry and raspberry are great!) they come in smaller options all the way up to gallons of apple flavor). Of course there was so much fresh produce! I purchased honey, jam, pickled asparagus and carrots. They had meat and cheese options. Since it was fall there was also a pumpkin patch and all the items you can usually find at a farm around Halloween time!
A lot of people seemed to be there for the fresh doughnuts, they were pretty amazing! You got to see some employees in the back bottling the cider which was pretty neat. This was a great experience and worth the drive!

Our first time here and I was really looking forward to ordering some apple fritters, but was crushed when they said they were «out». Probably because the people in front of us got greedy and made a HUGE order. They should make a special order section for people who want to make large orders. Just saying. Instead, we got a dozen of their fresh apple cider donuts dusted with cinnamon sugar. Nothing beats fresh!
Staff was nice… the people working the donut line can be nicer though. It’s an open space… don’t tell me there isn’t any when I can SEE them. LOVE their apple cider and wish I had picked up a gallon or two.
We didn’t really walk around to look at the animals and things, but went straight to their pumpkin patch which was pretty picked through, but still found a couple good ones.
Coming from Spanaway, it was quite a drive, but I would definitely come back to try those apple fritters!
