Ok, no homeowner really likes to deal with their septic system, especially when the alarm keeps sounding. Sound Septic turned that pain into a rather pleasant experience. Friendly and professional when I called and equally so when they were here. Arrived on time and followed up with unexpected repairs quickly to get us back to a functioning septic system. Thanks Gene and team!

We are so impressed with this company and Gene Bond! He knows what he is talking about and is very helpful. Three times I tried to to get another company to call me back as we needed an inspection and also our alarm had gone off on our system. But one call to Gene and he was right there to help us out. Very neighborly type of guy. We will always use him from now on. Very fair, honest, and has a big heart!

I called Sound Septic on Tuesday after a horrible experience with another septic company, the lady on the phone was so nice! and helpful! Told me everything I needed to know and scheduled my appointment for Thursday! So nice not to have a wait a week or more since we had already dug out our holes for the septic cleaning. The pumping went so easy and the guy was so friendly! He explained everything to me that I needed to know and showed me what the county would be looking for. Such a nice company! Felt more like I was talking with friends than a company! Will definitely be using them for all of our septic needs :)

Unless, you want to be ripped off, use Gene Bond — South Sound Septic. We had A+ tell us our tank was cracked and they could repair it for $ 3,200. We got a 2nd opinion from Flowhawks who said no, it needs to be replaced for $ 5,000. Gene show up, looks in our tank and says there are no leaks at all. It is holding water fine. He didn’t even charge us for his visit!!! Sir, you have just won a new customer for your honesty!!!

They were unable to fix us as quickly as we needed. But they referred us to another contractor to do the dirty deed and he was able to come today! Thankful to companies who are honest, caring and community minded.

My first experience with our septic system turned out to be a good one. We lived in our house (new) for 3 years and were getting nervous about our septic system. Called and made an appointment and within a week it was done. Gene explained everything and told me that I probably had another year before I needed to pump. His price is competitive, pretty much what everybody charges. He said that our … doesn’t stink which alone was worth it. He explained that if we cut down on the amount of toilet paper we use, we could easily go 5 years. We did pump and feel much cleaner.

There’s a reason Sound Septic is rated #1 on Unilocal.I don’t think they have anything less than perfect scores from ALL REVIEWS! That really should tell you everything you need to know. If not, here’s my opinion:
Gene Bond is not only fair and ethical — he’s a great guy. He coaches his son’s baseball team and is active in our community. This is the kind of company I want to support. Plus, he charged me half what I paid the last time and told me I don’t need to have it pumped as often as the last company suggested.
I highly recommend Sound Septic for any work. Affordable, honest and hard working. Best experience ever! I wish all contractors were this easy and affordable!

This home was the first septic system we’ve had, so when the pump alarm went off we decided to try Sound Septic. VERY impressed — courteous, prompt service performed by owner, Gene, who diagnosed the issue quickly and accurately. Total cost for the float fix was less than some other companies wanted just for just coming out and looking at the issue. I will definitely use Sound Septic again, and I highly recommend them to anyone with a septic issue!

I was totally pleased and impressed by the young professional, Mr. Gene Bond, who came to our house to fix our septic tank. We thought it only needed to be pumped empty, but he diagnosed the problem as a faulty pump and indicated we didn’t need to have the tank pumped clean yet. He made two separate trips to track down not only a good replacement pump, but one that was also economically priced. He explained everything, was professional and honest. When it does come time to have the septic pumped clean, I will definitely call back this excellent company to do the job! Thank you!
