A large fir limb smashed the arm of our $ 100 chair. Result: arms broken on one end, bend badly from other end. If replaceable: $ 110 price; half day in the car to Woodinville and Mohlbach’s; gas etc. Zeigler’s fixed it for $ 40, including the distortions resulting from my bending & gluing attempts. Zeigler’s had worked wonders with a prior item. How is it that I have lived in Oly for 37 years, and not heard of Ziegler’s, tossed valued items that could have been rescued? And how often does it happen that a business gives an acceptable price range and that, both times, come in at the bottom of the range? It is a joy to rescue unique items from the dump. Both of my items required technical skill to match or fit the break to the whole piece. A high level of kraft!

In the midst of a bad experience with this company. They were 3 – 4 weeks late (without a good explanation) on producing a simple railing, and then when they finally finished it was not powder-​coated as agreed and was not constructed properly. One piece was too long; the angles were not correct. The welds did not look very smooth or finished either. Customer service has been exceptionally poor, in my opinion.
Our contractor ended up sending the railings back to be adjusted. The adjustments were promised for certain dates, but Zeigler’s was not able to deliver. Finally, after several additional weeks of waiting, we ended up building our own rail and canceling the order with our contractor.
No calls to apologize; no explanation.

These guys are magicians. And not the creepy kind. You can bring in any idea or random piece of metal that looks like nothing — and they can figure out how to create whatever it is you have in mind. And the coolest part is… they automatically suggest the most inexpensive way to meet your needs. Even for small jobs, they give you their undivided attention while discussing your project. And so handy to have them right downtown. All nice guys, handling a barrage of customers coming and going. Zeigler’s does great work!
