If you have a German car and are in need of quality, honest maintenance, then this is the place to go. I was coming from out of town so I called the day before and spoke to Joel. He was able to order brake parts, all four pads and rotors, ahead of time so they were there upon my arrival. I picked up the parts the next day and unsuccessfully attempted to install them myself. I called Joel back and he gladly took the car off of my hands. They were professional about the situation and had the job done within a couple of hours.

Wow. Simply amazing. I was originally in touch with joel about a car I wanted to purchase. I wanted to bring it in and verify if I was to be getting a good deal. I called again a week later and spoke with someone else and they said I could bring in said vehicle no problem.
I arrived today and I was surprised! Like a mom and pop shop, but mom stepped out for a bit. Very down to Earth and understanding. these guys deal only with foreign cars. VW, Audi, Mercedes Benz, BMW, etc…

A really great shop that is second to none and if not for them, I don’t know if I would have my new used car. Reasonable estimates and a great demeanor.
I would love to say I can’t wait to come back, but I know I will be and I have to save money for that.

5 Stars! My son & I were in here yesterday with my Audi A4. I’m terrible with names, but the guy who helped me was very accommodating while my vehicle was being worked on. He even offered to give my son & I a ride to go grab lunch in the area during our wait. (Mind you, it was over 80 degrees yesterday). People like this can be very rare to find. Also, I didn’t feel as if the staff working here were being condescending every time I addressed my concerns about my vehicle unlike unmentioned other places I’ve taken my vehicle to in the past. (I’m a woman so naturally this happens to me at times at places like these). I highly recommend this place. Honest, excellent people skills, reliable, down-​to-​earth, family owned business. Not the most luxurious-​looking of auto repair places like some of the more «high-​end, overpriced» businesses I’ve been to in the past (for lack of a better term) upon walking in, but that’s not what matters anyway. They don’t waste their time on that. My vehicle still needs further work done, but that’s irrelevant to this. In the future, I know where I’ll be taking it. Had them check out a antifreeze leak on my Jaguar, which they diagnosed as a water pump problem…$ 500 bill. Unfortunately, this did not solve the issue. I had another foreign auto shop check out the problem, and they quickly diagnosed the problem… which resulted in another $ 500 bill… which was done in less than a day… compared to a week with Cordell Motors. Their showroom and office area was pretty messy… which does not give a good impression of their service. Would not recommend them for any Jaguar services.

I very, very highly recommend Cordel Foreign Motors.
Earlier this year, I moved from Chicago to Los Angeles to start work at a new job. I packed my Audi A4 to the brim with everything that was either too fragile or valuable to trust with a cross-​country shipping company, and with my big old dog in the back seat, I intended to drive the distance over a few days.
Unfortunately, about ~100mi outside of Omaha, my engine started to have some problems. It turned out that the oil was plugged up somewhere and wasn’t properly lubricating the engine, so I began to look for mechanics. The car was completely undriveable. Maybe it was just me, but it was really difficult to find a mechanic who would work on a German car. I didn’t think an A4 was anything too complex, but what do I know. The local Audi dealership wasn’t at all helpful, so I searched some Audi forums, and found a single recommendation for a garage in Omaha, and it was for Cordel. It was there that I discovered the point in going to a mechanic who specializes in a certain type of vehicle.
They have a showroom and a lot full of gorgeous European cars, classic and newer, and their mechanic bays had everything from the iconic old diesel Mercedes to new SLK’s and Land Rovers. Egon (the owner), Karl, and Josh all clearly knew a ton about these cars, and a ton about mine. Stranded in a city I’d never been to before, the guys diagnosed my problem quickly and even gave my dog and I a lift to and from our hotel. They could not possibly have been more accommodating, and were really cool, amicable guys on top of it. I’m no mechanic, but I like cars, so they made sure to give me a long list of exactly how to maintain the car, what to watch out for on my particular model, etc. Also, they went over my car with a fine-​toothed comb, touching up things here and there to make sure I could make the rest of the journey without issue. They even went so far as to undo a cheap-​o fix I did myself with an aftermarket Chinese part, and replace it with the OEM Bosch part they had on the shelf. Very considerate.
I also had them diagnose a sound coming from my transmission, which I suspected was the result of a botched clutch replacement I’d had done at a garage in Chicago. The flywheel was toast, so they replaced my dual flywheel transmission setup with a single flywheel, which is known to be sturdier. As of today; one year, 10,000mi, and another cross-​country drive later, and my engine and transmission remain problem-​free. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work, their demeanor, and the degree to which they helped a guy stranded hundreds of miles from anyone he knew.
I’ve recommended them many times on auto forums. Great mechanics, awesome cars for sale, and all-​around good guys.

I used to go to the dealership for my Audi. After a few problems, I found Cordel Foreign motors. Joel and his team do a great job on my car. He is sensitive to completely solving the problem while keeping costs down. I’ve been really happy with the service and quality of work.
