This store never seems to change. From the Frankenstein face painted on the side of the building to the dusty inventory inside, you can always depend on Ibsen to be that cozy, mom-​and-​pop costume shop on the corner.
Besides obviously being a popular spot during the Halloween, Ibsen specializes in costume rentals for all occasions. But think theatrical more so than «sexy nurse.» Need a couple Elvis costumes? How about a half dozen medieval maiden dresses? Giant fuzzy bear? What about some custom-​made outfits for the cast of your directorial debut at the community theater? No worries, just head to Ibsen and they’ll take care of you.

Located a bit north of Dundee, this really is a full-​service costume shop. They also have some wedding stuff, which I thought was odd.
We have rented costumes from them on several occasions. They are really nice and helpful. They costumes seem a bit expensive but where else can you rent a nun’s habit?
