Little King Deli & Subs

I decided to try out this place — I’d never heard of the Little King line, and wasn’t sure what to expect.
I ordered the Regular (6 inch) Pepperoni sub, on Asiago Wheat bread, done the «LK» way with lettuce, tomato, and spices. It was pretty darn good for a $ 3.75 sandwich. I did the meal combo (added $ 2.50 to the tab) for a drink and my choice of soup or a pickle or chips or a cookie — I went with the pickle, which the staff was kind enough to quarter for me. Man, that was a good pickle!
The total bill out the door was a palwtry $ 6.87, which is darn cheap eats for the Old Market area.
Prices range from $ 3.75 to $ 4.75 for «Regular» or 6 inch subs, and from $ 6 to $ 8 for the King or 12 inch subs. You can also go double meat if you want.
The inside was pretty cool — there are light bulbs hanging from the ceiling, and the shop itself is definately not from the olden days — it’s pretty snappy.
