Rainbow Artistic Glass is a family owned local business established in 1982. We specialize in custom leaded glass for entryways, cabinets, transoms and many other uses.

As a working glass studio we have lead glass classes and supplies for the hobbyist and studio.

We are also the glass fusing center of Omaha. We offer drop in fusing, glass fusing classes, glass fusing supplies, and Olympic glass fusing and multimedia kilns.

History

Established in 1982.

Rainbow Stained Glass was opened by Ed Krivanek in 1982 in the Benson area of Omaha and later moved to 76^th and Cass. Dick Baines purchased the business in 1991 and, in need of more space, relocated to 120^th and West Center in 1994. After outgrowing that space, Rainbow Artistic Glass moved to 3709 South 138^th, which we believe will be our final home. Jesse Baines, who has been with Rainbow since 1995, took over ownership when Dick retired in 2015.

With the numerous changes and additions to our specialized work over the years, we changed our name to Rainbow Artistic Glass and Design to better reflect our business. We create leaded glass, fused glass, and beveled glass art. We custom bevel glass.

We love what can be done with glass, and we love what we do every day.
