Established in 2012.

Safari Cigars and Lounge has been open since 12÷1÷2012. The establishment was previous called «Cigarros» under a different owner. The new owners have changed the entire environment. Safari Cigars and Lounge has a state of the art Humidor, the world’s finest and rare cigar selection, new large flat screen TV’s, comfortable leather chairs and couches.

Welcome home! Had enough of rowdy party bars packed with punks and thugs shouting over the thumping sound system? Looking for a relaxing, men’s club atmosphere, rich with wood paneling, low, soothing music and soft leather chairs? Safari’s your new favorite watering hole. The walk-​in humidor is well-​stocked with a broad variety of smokes. The prices, which are not unreasonable, are clearly marked on the shelves. The only thing I didn’t like was the note taped to the front door announcing a $ 5 service charge per cigar brought in from somewhere else.

This place is on par with some of the great lounges in Florida.
Good selection of cigars, and a full bar. Leather chairs, big screen TVs and a nice décor.

The owner reached out to me to let me know my drinks were, in fact, served wrong. They were bottled beer and should have been poured more aggressively to produce copious amounts of frothy head. He did give me a refund of my beer money and for that I have doubled my stars.

Way better than the previous cigar shop in its bay. The owners are amazing and the service is just as good. Walking in feels like you’re visiting your old buddies. Also, best cigar selection in Omaha.

Great cigar selection, employees are knowledgable and helpful.
Lots of nice seating options, and all tables come with an ash tray and lighter.
Have only gone on Thursday nights and there had always been a good football game or two on.

Omaha is LUCKY to have this WORLD CLASS cigar bar. I’ve been to quite a number of cigar bars in my life in different large US cities and this one is nothing short of exceptional. If you remember the old «Cigarros» it’s in the same space but it’s SOOO much better. New furniture, fabulously stocked humidor with a world class selection, huge flat screens. The chairs are way beyond what you’d find in Washington, New Orleans, and many other cities. OK, so I can’t rave enough about how good it really is. Prices are excellent, drinks poured properly… they even have great olives for the drinks. You will be impressed… I don’t care where you’re from.
