Unethical, misleading, and and inaccurate are three words that easily sums up our experience with US Data Corporation. My team and I had the WORST experience with this company and I would warn anyone to run the other way as fast as they can. My organization was looking for a list of students who took the PSAT in the last year. After doing a significant amount of research, we found US Data Corporation. They told us that they had an updated list of 5,000 students who took the PSAT last year in zip codes specific to our audience. We spent $ 1600 on this list and another $ 3000 on the direct mail pieces sent to the names US Data Corporation gave us. We thought it was strange when a week after the mail piece went out, the phones weren’t ringing. When we’ve done similar mailings in the past(with data from other sources), the response has been HUGE. We knew something had to be wrong. That’s when we decided to compare the list to a local high school’s directory. Imagine our shock when we discovered that the names US Data Corp provided us with were not 10th graders who took the PSAT, but in fact COLLEGESTUDENTS who took the test five-six years ago. We were so disappointed and quickly called our sales rep at US Data Corporation. Now that he had his set of new golf clubs(which he told us he got as a reward for meeting the sales goal), he could care less about the fact that we were sold faulty and out-dated data and had wasted about $ 5,000 in the process. He just shrugged his shoulders and sent us off to Customer Service. It took a customer service representative about a week to finally get back to us. Once she finally got back to us at her leisure, our Customer Service rep told us that there was nothing she could do and refused to refund our money. All in all, this has been one of the WORST professional experiences any member of my team has had. We are extremely disappointed at the product delivered and more importantly at the level of customer service. If you are considering using US Data Corp, save your money and your breath because they will only leave you disappointed and out a few thousand dollars… At least their sales team will have a new set of golf clubs though.
