Great breakfast place! Large portions, good food, friendly service, and an unbeatable view of Portage Lake. Lots of space inside, all tables have a view of the lake. They have outdoor seating as well (too cold at breakfast for us to enjoy it).

All around great meal. We stopped in from out of town on our way to the beach looking for a quick breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by one of the best brunch we have had in a while. The Breakfast Scramble is a must try, as well as the blueberry pancake!

In a town with limited dining options, this is a fun place to stop. The seating area is much larger than it appears from the entrance, and you have beautiful Portage Lake to gaze at in the back. The hamburgers on pretzels buns received rave reviews from my dining companions. The ranch chicken salad (ranch because of the seasoning that they use in the chicken’s fried coating) felt like a guilty pleasure – tasty, but not exactly a healthy option with its melted cheese and copious croutons. I wish that the menu could’ve included at least one veggie burger option, too.
The staff were very warm and welcoming, and we would return, particularly out of curiosity for the mint chip pancakes!

What a fun place to eat in the town of my summer home! We were greeted warmly at the door, given our choice of seating, and well taken care of throughout our visit. Tanya was our perfectly attentive server. I asked her if I should have the burger on a pretzel bun or the grilled cheese. said hands down I had to have the burger. It did not disappoint. This is my new favorite Onekama eatery, and I will go back!

Came in to visit the casino and wanted something other than a buffet for breakfast. Found this place on Unilocal and it was great! Small town with really nice locals (not the kind who stare and make you feel like an alien). We had eggs, bacon, omelette, hash browns and the homemade biscuit. The biscuit was to die for! Next Casino trip we will be back!

The M22 Grill is a great little eatery on Portage Lake in Onekama. The food is reasonably priced and delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed.
We ordered the Philly omelet (brilliant concoction), pancakes, French toast, and eggs (from the kids menu). All of the food was great and our server was delightful. This is a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch but don’t go on Wednesdays; they are closed.

Delighted to find this clean, attractive, and appropriately decorated (cars, auto companies, highway signs) restaurant on our exploration of the southern end of M-​22. The burger was excellent, service friendly and helpful. I’ll not only recommend it, but hope to return.

Wow what a pleasant surprise! We found this place on Unilocal to grab breakfast on our way up the coast from Manistee. Breakfast was delicious, filling and so reasonably priced I can’t believe they are making a profit! I got 2 eggs, hashbrowns and a biscuit for 3.99. My husband got blueberry pancakes and bacon for 6.99. With drinks our total bill was $ 14! What a deal. The waitress was SO nice and the patio on the lake had such a nice view. We will definitely come back if we ever drive through here again.

I like this place. Very local breakfast place in downtown (?) Onekama. We went for breakfast and had the usual fare of eggs with sausage or bacon, pancakes, etc. All served to order. Would be nice if they had a local or special dish of their own. That would complete this place. Nevertheless, pretty good treat and hope they’ll stick around.

My wife, 6month old and I stopped by here on both Friday and Saturday morning. We were greeted with a smile. The food was good, service was fast and the price was right! The corn-​beef omelette hit the spot! We would definitely stop back. A definite plus was the free Wi-​Fi!

We went to try M22 grill because it’s the new restaurant in town. Very clean; a lot of thought put into the decorations, all around a car theme (license plates, old car ads, road signs, etc) to tie into the M22 theme. We went for breakfast:
DD had the chocolate chip pancakes (they forgot the chocolate chips… but quickly remade them for her)
DS and DH had the standard breakfast (2 eggs, toast, bacon, hash browns) and gobbled it up.
I had the simple breakfast (2 eggs, biscuit, hash browns) – delicious.
Nice breakfast, pleasant restaurant, go check it out.
