I’ve never had the worse and scary experience until now! My company rented a scissor lift from here. Apparently, the second time I used it I was up at about 25 ft high and I was moving the lift and suddenly felt a sudden jolt and the lift rocked forward awkwardly. I looked over the rail towards the bottom and saw that the wheel was sticking out awkwardly. I lowered the platform to inspect the wheel and found that it came completely off the axle. When I inspected the wheel I noticed that the wheel was missing the castle nut to the axle. But it doesn’t end there. The hub in the wheel showed that it was welded to the axle of the hydraulic motor. Not only was this unsafe but what was this mechanic thinking? Do you think that welding a wheel to an axle of a scissor lift is the safest way to fix the problem? This is not something you do especially when it comes to renting equipment to your customers. This company should be reported to OSHA. No one should deserve to be injured on the job for unsafe practices. I will never rent from this place again after this. The mechanics and customer service should always inspect the equipment they rent out. If I was the owner of this company this issue better be resolved or someone will get hurt and there will be a huge lawsuit coming you way.

I operate Handyman Home Maintenance. At times I have to rent equipment. Dr Rentals has everything I could ever need. Need a drill, or a dump truck? They got it.
When you go, see Joe. He treats you with personalized service. Open an account with them and you literally walk in and out within minutes with what you need.
If they don’t have what you need, Joe will find it and even has delivered to your location.

Thoroughly disappointed with this rental place and their customer service. I had a week long Bobcat rental for basic landscapping needs. Within the a week I had two blown tires, which cost me an additional $ 300 to fix, not to mention the time away spent from the job. Needless to say, I called to see if I can get some sort of credit toward the additional expense. No such luck. They did not want to help me out. I would not waste my time or money with this place. You might save upfront but if there are any issues it will end up costing you in the end. I wish I could give this zero stars.

I rented a skip loader last week for my yard and was very happy with the results. I would highly recommend D&R to rent equipment. Their well uniformed and friendly staff was very helpful and the equipment was perfect for the job I needed it for.
