Off 5th-- Saks 5th Avenue

Not too fond of this location. Nothing really ever seems to catch my eye or seem to be a real deal.

Located at Ontario Mills, I came by here this past Saturday night with my husband. After I had browsed at Nordstrom Rack, I headed here. Although there is plenty of racks to browse through. I just didn’t find anything that really appealed to me on this visit. And I just wasn’t feeling the shopping vibe in this store for some reason.
I thought it was weird that the handbags they had were locked up but the handbags at the Last Call store was not locked (seems like there is more trust with that store).
To be honest, not sure if I would want to shop here again in the future, especially when there is the Last Call by Neiman Marcus store and Nordstrom Rack.

Went in this store and did not see any store employees working on the floor. The shoe section was such a mess with the shoes all over the floor. The aisles in the shoe section were so small that I was bumping into other customers. I would come back but definitely not during Labor Day.

Oh, how I love shopping at Ontario Mills, especially at store likes Saks Fifth where they offer great discounts on designer clothes. If you’re looking for something more fancy, I suggest you go to their regular store at South Coast Plaza. Walking around this store and looking at what deals you can find here is fun when you want to look hip or classy without paying a ton of money for.
Service is average at best, I like they don’t follow you around or pressure you to make a sale. The clearance racks at my favorite part, sometimes they might have B1G2 Free and other similar sales like B1G1 Free. That happens mostly during the end of the year and when they have those closeout sales.
Don’t forget to sign up for the MORE Card to receive additional discounts on their merchandise.

If I could give this place zero stars… I WOULD!
Worst customer service ever. I bought 8 pairs of pants and wanted to return 3 of them. I already took off the tags, but realized there were defects. I still had the receipt and the tags (just not attached). I do not really know if that was the issue, but they gave me the hardest time to just return or exchange. They had attitude and threw «policy» in my face, but I’ve never had any other hassle like this at any other store under the same circumstances. These sales associates and even the manager need to take a class on something as basic as treating a customer, let alone just any person in general, with respect. They did not even offer an apology, just more attitude.
WORST!

I have major love for Saks Off Fifth, even more that this one is so close to home.
They always have fabulous sales going on like half off the clearance rack.
You have to take your time sifting through all the stuff, but I rarly leave without buying something, or at least trying on a ton of dresses, marked less than $ 100, running around $ 400 originally.
Service is good (they work for commission, you would think so)
The dressing rooms, clean and never overfilled.
In all, one of my favorite shopping destinations in my area.

I bought a pair of Joe jeans as a gift— to my embarrassment the zipper was missing/​broken! When I took them back (with tags and receipt) they refused to give me a refund or store credit because it was at the 30day mark. They would not exchange, replace or return the jeans! Intact, they asked if I wanted to pay to have a new pair shipped to me! Ha! Their service and management is horrible. I will never shop here again— especially when you can go to Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack and get better/​working products with easy returns and friendly people. (I actually took my pants to Nordstrom to have a zipper put on.) for the amount of money you pay at sacs you really deserve much better! I highly recommend boycotting this store!

Not sure why Off 5^th has received low ratings, but I really love this outlet! Everytime I come here, I go home with at least one article of clothing. I mean, who wants to drive out to Beverly Hills for the actual Saks…
As far as deals go, it goes without saying that buying anything off the racks with percentage discounts is always better than paying full price. My hubby has found several awesome quality/​name brand suits here, for a fraction of what it would cost at other places.

The products, like others mentioned aren’t that great. I like the selection they have at Last Call for Neiman Marcus right next door. In terms of selection and price I would give this store a ³⁄₅. It’s difficult to find clothes that are actually nice and fit well. I buy when they have additional % off sales and when they email coupons to their More club members (this is a free membership and you get a card as well as coupons in the email). Some of my purchases include Marc Jacobs tech accessories (laptop case and earbuds around $ 20-​$ 35), Saks Fifth Avenue Suede Loafers ($ 54), Marc by Marc Jacobs denim jean shorts ($ 20). I also found Derek Lam lace-​up booties for $ 240 (retail ~ $ 800) before tax in size 6.5 randomly in a Tod’s box. So there are a few gems to be found if you look hard enough. Unfortunately the shoes were deathly uncomfortable.
The reason for the 2 rather than 3 stars though is (as previous reviewers mentioned) the customer service. At my last shopping excursion, I had at least 3 employees approach me to sign up for a More card, but when I actually needed help with finding a product it ended up being a disaster. For some reason at that point in time I only saw about 1 – 2 employees actually working the floor (excluding the lady at the fitting room) and I also overheard other customers making comments like «Wow, are they short-​staffed or something?» I wanted a pair of shoes but they didn’t have my size so when I finally flagged down an employee, she took the shoes and left while I waited in the shoe department. About 20 minutes later (and rather restless), I then went to look for her and found her working the cash register. Apparently she had assumed we would meet her in that area? Unfortunately though, I find it to be poor customer service not even to return to the shoe area to inform customers that the specific size wasn’t available. Instead I was left waiting there and still without the desired pair of shoes. Employees aren’t rude – full of smiles– but they don’t really help with the shopping experience.
Overall, the store is not very organized and customer service isn’t particularly great (although I will give credit to the fitting room attendant for consistently offering to find different sizes for customers, etc.). Products are mostly misses and it’s often hard to find them in the first place.

I really like this store and always seem to find fabulous things. However, you really have to know the prices of things to know if you are getting a good deal or not! Not everything is a good deal… They do have a lot to choose from. This visit i got a wonderful L.A.M.B Bag. The last one they had in that style. It went from $ 325.00 to $ 113.00. A very good deal. I know my Gwen Stafani wear! I could not really afford it right now, but it was such a great deal. Loved It! They do really have amazing sales. Plus you can use your Saks card. Loads of parking since it is in the Mills Mall.

I come into Saks for the CCO that they have here which is amazing. I love it. But my sister and I started looking around and their selection is pretty meh. My sister was looking for sunglasses and the sunglasses area was so messy. I was looking under the rayban section but all I found were other brands and it was so mishmashed. It was ridiculous. They have some nice clothes which is why this place didn’t get 2 stars but it doesn’t make up for how long you have to hunt for it. Eh, seen better Off Saks.

Yuck. This place is like the outlet store that sells the rejects from the other Off 5^th outlet stores. I hate how things are picked over. I hate the organization of the store. I hate how merchandise is strewn all over. Messy. It’s an effort to shop here.

customer services b*tches think they all that. you’re working at an outlet, get off your high horses you dumb hoes. came in to help my mom exchange something and was confronted with rudeness, dumbness and atrocious manners. stay away from these clowns.

They’ve really trimmed down the Men’s section here over the past year. What used to take up the entire rear of the store has now been condensed to a quarter.
The outerwear and suit section are virtually nonexistent and the dress shirts are divided up by 4 designers (Behar, Talbott, Sherman, Saks) instead of a dozen. But then again, I can’t imagine a lot of men coming here to shop for those items anyway.
The suit game is laughable in SoCal and Off 5^th was one of my last beacons for finding a quality suit at a good value. But that is no longer true. Now the section is primarily there to serve all those True Religion/​Affliction/​Ed Hardy types.
Not my cup of tea. I like to keep my patterns basic and my cut of clothes traditional. I am a Ralph Lauren hog for pete’s sake.
Fashion, like government, evolves without warning…

Great place to grab some great deals. They even have a cosmetics section with M.A.C., Clinique, Bobbi Brown and others. The shoe department has a great selection.

I don’t know why the Ontario Mills mall isn’t listed here for us to review in general, but anyway, this Saks is one of the only few stores I like in this entire mall & I don’t even buy things here that often. The clothes seemed better yrs ago, which isI why I bought things more often long ago. I like how the store is constantly rearranging their depts & fixtures to keep things different. They change things around more often than any other store I’ve seen.
The salespeople aren’t the friendliest, but I guess I’m used to that at most stores.

This place has a lot of nice designer clothes at a discounted price. Some of the stuff is still too overpriced though, so that is why I didn’t give this place a five star rating. You can save more money by signing up for a card there and they’ll send you coupons. I used my sisters discount on her phone to get 30% two gorgeous scarves I bought.
They sell shoes, both men and womens designer clothing, purses, accessories, lots of sunglasses, and make-​up. They have Calvin Klein, Juicy Couture, Lamb, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and a bunch of other name brands here. I will stop by here next time I’m in the area.

I come here often because I live so close to Ontario Mills.
First off, they have AMAZING sales! I always wait to get the 30% off coupons because they are better than any of the other discounts. I’m a huge denim junkie so I basically only purchase jeans here. Of my 30+ pairs of designer jeans, I think like 10 were purchased here. I got a pair of 7’s here for 60 dollars! (granted, they were kids size)
Secondly, there is a pretty large selection of clothes. but I’m not really a fan. A lot of the clothes are outdated. Because I’ve been here many times, I noticed that the same clothes are left there for like a year if no one buys them.

Great deals and good clothes! They have incredible sales and a wonderful rewards card program in which you can get special offers in the mail. Last year it was a mad house with their «buy one get one free handbag sale» I went in to buy some mens dress shirts and nearly got crushed to death by all the desperate housewives and handbag hoodlums looking to get a discount!
This is one of the better shops at Ontario Mills and they have a great selection. However, its a little smaller than the the one in the Block at Orange. The good news is the merchandise at this store doesn’t go away as fast as the Orange location. If you are looking for a great deal on designer discounts in the IE, check this place out!
