Xact Window Tinting

I’ve been a loyal customer at tint zone in rowland heights for the past 8 years. Had about 6 cars tinted at TintZone. I go through cars like pair of underwears… lol. Joking aside, unfortunately TintZone was closed for extended period over the holidays. Thus, i was reluctant to try different shop.
But with my current availability and new car, I decided to call around for some quotes. Many shop were already booked for the day… but luckily I found Xact tint shop in Ontario. After assessing the location, price and quality of the film used… i decided to jump and take the chance.
I can say with much confidence that my jump turned into a good decision. I am not a fan of llumar or johnson films from past experience. The film tend to be thinner and doesnt reject heat too well. After using 3M film for the past 4 vehicles. i have become a fan for 3M tint films.
I called the shop and spoke with the owner (Luis) who quoted me for the 3M FX premium film. These are decent tint film and was pleased with the price quoted for my car. Upon arrival at the shop, I did notice the FX premium film has slight greenish tone. Although the UV protection is 99%, i preferred little more heat rejection and more gray tone color. Thus, i opted to upgrade to the 3M color stable series. It cost me $ 70 more, but was well worth the price.
I opted for 5% limo tint for the rear window… and 20% for the side doors (i like mine to be even on the doors).
What i really appreciate about the shop was they use laser cut to mfg specs… so the lines are perfect along the edges. The while process took roughly 2 hours, but i could tell it was done with much attention to detail as i found no air bubbles or irregular streaks. There are some visible water bubbles. which will eventually disappear once dried.
The shop is clean and the work bay area is even cleaner. Probably one of the cleanest tint shop I’ve seen.
All work comes with life time guarantee as well.
If this works out… i may be coming to this shop for future tints as it is closer to my home and use of authentic 3M products are hard to come by unless you pay so much more elsewhere.

Got my new 2015 Jetta GLI windows tinted here. They were very helpful in picking out the best tint for my car. Best customer service that I have gotten from a business in a long time. Definitely give them a try if you are looking to have your windows done.

I could hardly wait to put up this review. I bought a 7 year old Porsche 911 with 24K miles on it in nice condition but the 3M protective material on the nose and mirrors had scuffs and turned yellow and the dark grey paint just didn’t have depth to it. I was going to use a mobile service. That would have been a mistake. I took it to Xact window tinting and was immediately impressed with how perfectly clean the shop was. I explained my problems to Luis. I looked at the new Xpel Ultimate film and was impressed, but wanted my paint fixed. He said the best detailer was MK Auto Detail right behind them. MK is equally impressive. I’ve never seen a detail shop like them. So I pulled the trigger and said replace the film and fix the paint.
I could never have expected what I got in return. My Porsche looked like it was new in the showroom. The paint had a depth that I could only dream of. The film is so incredible, you can’t even see it’s there. I spoke to Mike and he told me how much time he spent on the paint and it shows. When I walked back to Xact, Luis and his employee were using masking tape to remove lint from my convertible top. These guys want EVERYTHING perfect. By the way… their prices were lower than the other places that quoted me. I would never go with a mobile service.
I’m a gearhead and have exotic cars so I know what’s happening. I am so happy I found these guys. I will do more business with them. Bravo!

Every year is an exciting year when you can get a new BMW; it’s even more so when your bmw comes with a tint from this shop. Felipe OCEGUERA is the man. I buy a new car every two years and nobody touches it first but Felipe himself at Xact window tinting. I have bin coming here since 2005. The quality is unmatched in socal. These guys are some of the best tinters around. I have had several vehicles done by them over the last ten years and not a single flaw or breakdown of any of the jobs they have done. Worth the money and wait. I was really surprised at how quick and clean the entire process was. I had my 2012 Explorer tinted as well as my mother’s Kia Sorento. All I can say is: every review/​post about Xact window Tint is true! Very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to anyone/​everyone.

I have had 2 BMW 7 Series done here one with tint and bra the other with tint and entire front end wrapped with clear. Also my wife’s escalade (clear bra only). All three jobs where great, my little brother have the first car and it still looks great.

I used to drive to Temecula bc there were no local tint shops that carried 3M and had fair pricing. Now that ive found Xact i no longer have to travel far to get excellent tint. I recently had my i3 tinted by these guys and I liked their quality of work BC they actually use computer cut tint. Combine that with the ease of getting an appointment within a reasonable time frame, along with no Hassel pricing, I’m now using them exclusively for all my future BMWs. Great job guys!

We stumbled upon Xact when we brought a car that needed a window retinted (wasn’t originally tinted by them) and it was covered under warranty. That was over 7 years ago when they were at their previous location. We recommend Luis to everyone we know. Since then we’ve gotten more than 5 cars tinted by him and they are the best. Awesome customer service, close to home, great price and appreciate return and new customers. We even had a friend from the Bay Area get his car tinted while visiting! We’re going there again this weekend!

I had my black 2015 Prius v clear bra film on the headlight and side mirrors with Xpel film with self healing. Luis Oceguera was awesome! He listened to my concern and knew what was best. Don’t let serious look fool you. He is very nice and will make sure you are satisfy!
Another plus is that he has the machine to cut it perfectly so you don’t have to worry about any razor damage to your car.

I’ve had a total of two cars tinted here (one about 9 years ago, and one today), and one body wrapped. While they installed the tint and body wrap incredibly well, one of the windows had a strange discoloration from the manufacturing process. Without any hesitation, they replaced the tint on that window. No hassle, no problems.
The 9 year old car never had any discoloration, any bubbling, or any scratches. It really was a perfect job. Nine years later, it still looked great!
The new car results were fantastic! Everything was done well, the cut, fit, and finish made the car look like it came from the factory tinted.
Very highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh (Ariel’s amazing singing voice inserted) ummmm this place rocks! My hubby recently bought a BMW 750li (against my better judgement) obviously a super nice luxury car to say the least and very classy. Well I like being classy but I also like being sporty and a little privacy never hurt so I decided to tint it for him. Research, research, research was all I did before deciding to go to Xact auto tint. Of course I was scared of the typical bubbling, wear and tear or just a plain bad job. I found great reviews here on Unilocal but the selling point was that this is the place that handles the luxury car dealerships tinting so I was sold. The car looks great and my husband was very happy and I once again Im hearing my praises sung to anyone that compliments his car now. :) win-​win!!!

I’ve been coming to Felipe and Xact tinting for well over 7 years now. They have tinted 6 vehicles dating back to 2007. Always courteous, fast, and reasonable; with no pressure sales. They also use cut-​to-​fit tint — avoiding razor blades the can often damage weather stripping during installation. Xact is The Best!
Without reservation, I trust them to do the best job ALWAYS.
2012 Lexus IS250 Fsport

I just bought a 2014 BMW 328i GT (Gran Turismo) which is a car that BMW does not make many of (i.e., it is rather rare) but it is also the first year of production for it. Regardless of how new this car is to the market, Chris and Felipe were able to accommodate my request. Luckily for me there was a cancellation that afternoon (11/​14/​2014) so I was able to get it completed promptly. The car looks even more awesome now and people can’t look in to the back (dark 3M Color Stable [CS20]) and the front was done to make it a bit more difficult to see in (medium 3M Color Stable [CS35]) which may be illegal but should not garner enough attention to get pulled over.
After 3 days of driving with it I am very satisfied. I’ll update my post in the future and will post a picture as well.

Got two cars tinted here. Both cars with 3m crystalline. Brought the cars in early morning and they started working on them right away, done before the estimated time. This shop does great work. Wouldn’t go to any other shop for tint.

Great shop and excellent service. I had an appointment for 3 and arrived about 10 till 3. They were ready for me and started on my car right away. They told me my car would be finished in 2 hours. They have free Wi-​Fi in the lobby which allowed me to get some work done while they worked on my car. About an hour and half later they were all finished. Very happy with the services provided and the quality film. I would recommend this shop and will do business here again.

I brought my wife’s car here a few months ago based on Unilocal reviews. We were not disappointed. Her car windows look perfect. I decided to tint my front windows on my car so that they matched the factory tint. I returned to the shop and spoke with Felipe. He gave me a good deal and the windows look awesome!
If you want quality work then I highly recommend this shop!

I’ve been wanting to get the windows on my 2012 Acura TSX tinted for awhile now. I’ve been hesitant because I didn’t want my windows darker, I simply wanted the UV tint. I want the UV tint because I drive a lot and it will help protect me and the interior when we are out and about. I also park in the sun at work.
My boyfriend scheduled the appointment and negotiated the price. I got the color stable series in the lowest tint.
There were some moisture bubbles in the tint when I got my car back. They eventually disappeared within three days. My trunk had a lot of water in it and they left plastic wrap from the tint material in the back seat. It was just really unprofessional in my opinion. My boyfriend called them about the water (which got over all my stuff) and they said that some water probably got in the trunk when they were installing the tint on my back window.
Overall, the tint turned out great. However, the execution wasn’t so great. I would take my car back here again… but I would take all my stuff out of the trunk.
