Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ooltewah Springs-Chattanooga

Katie up front was really nice and helpful. Returned my sweater from a precious stay. Really nice and clean rooms. Best holiday inn express I have been to. Breakfast is perfect for travel (coffee and Special K cereal for me) nice pool and fitness center. Highly recommend this HIE. Thanks to the staff too, everyone said good morning or hello including maids, maintenance, etc everyone was nice

Stayed one night on our long drive from Philadelphia to Pensacola, Florida. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and new. The pool was great with a nice size hot tub. The free breakfast in the morning was a perfect filler before our continued journey and save us both the time and money of having to stop along our way.
The room was very spacious, especially with 2 queen beds. The bathroom was also large and I appreciated the extra amenities such as the mouthwash and make up remover cloths. Ice machines were available to refill our small cooler for our drive and there was a mini fridge in the room. Just off I-​75, this hotel is very convenient, close to other restaurants and gas stations selling gas for $ 1.97/gallon!
Just behind the CVS down the road is a beautiful outdoor plaza filled with places to eat and drink as well as a relaxing environment with live music on the weekends.

What’s with all the hair, HIE? Was there a sasquatch convention the day before we arrived? It was in the pool and we kept fishing it out over and over again. Then our bathroom floor was covered in the stuff and I thought I’d be able to fashion a toupee by the time I’d collected the stuff. Thankfully, we didn’t encounter this problem elsewhere and the place was pretty decent otherwise. The indoor pool was a nice amenity (albeit a tad too shallow) since we wanted an escape from the August heat and the tiny outdoor pools elsewhere can be like a hot bath or unusable due to storms. The chairs at poolside were very nice also and quite comfortable. The breakfast offerings had a nice variety and decent quality, and nighttime pancakes was a nice twist that I wasn’t able to take advantage of. The rooms were good and the slightly lumpy mattresses weren’t so bad as to prevent sleep and I did like the pillows. The desk chair was truly sad and could not be raised high enough to allow efficient use of my laptop. There were enough positives that I might come again if I needed to be in this location, but the one negative is enough that I’ll probably try elsewhere initially and cost this review an entire star. This is the first time I’ve tried this chain and I’m now open to giving other locations a try as I can see the potential.

I would live here. I would be surrounded with people who get up singing with birds and take a bath in a pool of glittered rainbow. That’s just how fricking nice the staff was.
The first room we were assigned had a faulty toilet. For a family of five, that is a potential potty disaster. What did they do? Move us to another room and gave us a $ 25 gift card to Cracker Barrel. That’s an awesome thing to do, and that’s the super customer service we had.
The rooms were clean. The beds were soooo comfortable, as comfortable as wearing sweats on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The facilities also include an indoor pool.
The breakfast was good. We’re not talking a gourmet meal, but it was satisfactory. There were plenty of choices from cereal, bacon, eggs, muffins, bagels, sausages, fruit, etc. The best part was the pancake maker! I. Must. Have. One. You punch a button and a minute later – two small pancakes!
Did I mention ²⁴⁄₇ coffee, tea, lemonade, and cookies? Uh-​huh!
So, I’m moving in and hanging out with some of the nicest staff. If I could give six stars, I’d give 10.

This place was AMAZING. It’s gorgeous. The staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous, the beds are comfortable and it feels like home.
It is a little pricey but worth it!!!

This Holiday Inn is absolutely beautiful & amazing. The staff was super friendly. Facility was clean and very well maintained.
Our room was 319 — beautiful 2 double bed with pull out sleeper suite. Swimming pool & whirl pool area was simple but clean and had plenty of towels.
Breakfast was «hot» which included regular items and cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, sausage & pancakes. Items were very good and warm!
I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! I would stay here again!

This place was top notch! It was new and nice. Everything from the bathroom to the sheets was clean. The staff was very nice. They allowed for a later check out. The maintenance and front desk ladies were very friendly to our kids. The pool was warm.
They even had gluten free options!!! Great selection for breakfast and all day fruit and coffee. Highly recommend this place, you can tell the people who work there are happy people!

Stayed here for 2 weeks during training for work and felt like home. The pool and hot tub were clean. The breakfast was great as was the staff!

Very clean hotel. The staff is friendly and I was welcomed with a smile, which is amazing because I looked like a bum from driving all day. The swimming pool area was also squeaky clean. The coffee was hot and fresh every time I went to grab a cup (morning, afternoon & evening).
Location is convenient, close to shopping such as Walmart, grocery stores and restaurants that are within walking distance. I give this Holiday In Express an A+!

I am writing this review on behalf of my dad (but I am grateful for this experience). My parents were in a serious car accident on I-​75 on their return to Florida. Their car was totalled and had to be towed from the scene so the Sheriff’s deputy & tow truck driver recommended they take themselves and their belongings to the Holiday Inn Express. Hannah, at the front desk, and Charles, the manager, were extremely helpful in getting them checked in. They both made sure they had everything they needed to settle in for the night (after a very unsettling experience). So thank you Hannah and Charles for your personal attention and kindness, it is very appreciated.

Very nice staff, as well as clean and healthy rooms and beds. NO BEDBUGS HERE !!! I especially thank the staff for their support and kindness. I wish I could come back.

I’ve had a string of excellent stays at Holiday Inn Expresses lately. And this location adds to the list.
The room condition was top notch, and extraordinarily clean. The staff was very helpful with some business needs I had, and delivered what I can only call a, «Yeah, we really do care!» attitude. Which is not that common when you’re on the road stopping randomly along the way.
The only downside I’ve consistently found at Holiday Inn Expresses though, is really bad food served for breakfast. Not just ok or «meh». Bad. Trust me, I understand you’re not going to get gourmet food served out of a big closet in a lobby, ok? But there are chains that serve something up that’s consistently fairly decent, and that saves you time if you’re trying to get back on the road promptly.
So I have to ask, does anyone in management at HI Expresses actually taste the food every day? If not, please do that, and give it some attention. I don’t mind stopping for breakfast someplace else, but I’m not too thrilled about paying for a breakfast I wouldn’t eat if my life depended on it.
So my scores on the motel chain score are a bit mixed. I’ll bounce this place to a 4 out of 5 on the strength of the room, staff and service. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll do well here.
