Number One Nails

This is the ONLY place I trust to get my nails done. Everyone on their staff does an excellent job and I never leave disappointed. Their pedicures are incredible — no other place that I’ve ever gone to actually does a leg scrub (exfoliant), honey & lemon to soothe the legs, and Shea nut butter to moisturize (they literally have a gigantic Shea nut in the salon)…and not to mention while they’re going to town moisturizing & massaging your legs, they use hot stones! For only $ 25? How can you not get a pedi here?! I typically will get a gel mani & pedi and that runs me about $ 60, which I know might seem pricey however the service and the quality of the job makes it so worth it. I’ve literally had a gel mani on for an entire month without one single chip and the only reason I got it redone was because they were growing out. The environment is relaxing and very clean. Seriously an awesome place!!!

My friend brought me for a birthday manicure, never been to this salon and now I wish I knew about it sooner! I have NEVER had a regular manicure last so long! I usually can’t make it past a day or two without some major chipping. I am going on 5 days and minor chipping. This place was very clean and quick. A tad pricey. Great Results!

best nail salon ever. had the sloppiest pink and whites done in Westwood and they fixed them for a very reasonable price. I’ll never go elsewhere. the pedicure is amazing. absolutely amazing. I’m going on a month and the polish is still perfect. they use such quality supplies. I’m a hairdresser so I know how a salon of any type should be run and they are doing a fantastic job. go here you won’t be disappointed.

There really aren’t too many great reputable nail salons in the area — but this one — I tried today. I am very picky about where and how I get my nails and feet done, but this place was clean and very nice. I went in at lunch time and they were available to take me. They have TONS of colors — OPI, Essie and CND — which is a good thing. I got a pedi and the girl was great. Had to ask to her to file the corners of my toes but overall, she was very nice. She didn’t rush through — gave me a great leg massage! The pedi is $ 25, which might be pricey to some, but it was worth it. The amount of time they spend doing everything and finishing with a paraffin heel treatment — I would def pay that and prob more.
Overall, I will be back!!! Great place to go on your lunch hour!

I just got a great pedicure! Great massage, she cleaned well under my nails which I’m very picky about… the $ 25 for pedi is worth it. Includes the leg n foot message n an additional rub down with hot stones n a heel paraffin wrap. The salon is very clean. The young lady that attended me was very nice but the salon owner is just about money… He walked around checking on the girls which was a little «tyrant» like… Hope he treats the employees fairly

I came here based on a recommendation and I’m very happy I did!!! The salon is super clean and very relaxing! I got a regular pedicure but I got so much more! A honey and lemon leg massage, paraffin heal treatment, and Shea butter leg massage! My technician did not miss 1 spot on my toe nails when she was polishing! (I’m picky when it comes to the polish part) They have SO MANY colors to choose from! There is even a lot of gel polish colors! I will definitely come back!

I came here a while ago and really enjoyed the pedicure. Getting a mani/​pedi is a bit pricier than most places, but the pedicure was great.
So I came here today for a mani/​pedi. I had made an appointment, which they kept to. That’s a huge plus! I had a great pedi once again!
Now for the mani: the girl put so much of the nail polish thinner into the bottle of polish, that it needed 3 coats! I should’ve just asked for a different color, but I wanted to be matchy matchy with my toes. The polish goes allllll the way up to my cuticles. Am I doing my own nails and in kindergarten?
Afterwards, I did the drying thing and on my way out, I said «thank you» and «good bye» to only get a response of «bye.» I am not a regular, but just the demeanor makes me not want to be.
Unfortunately, I am on the hunt for a better salon now.

Started going there a couple of months ago and thought I had found the greatest nail salon ever. The manicure was excellent as was the pedicure, best of all is that the place is VERY clean. However will NEVER return because of the serious burn my daughter received after a wax there. The owner didn’t even care, he sat at his table doing a manicure when I complained acting like he did not understand English. After a few minutes a manicurist came over, I think she wanted to put aloe on an open burn. The general lack of concern was frightening. STAY AWAY!

Not sure why the business cards say «the one» and Unilocal says «number one»? I did thoroughly enjoy my pedicure. First time in a long time! Great chairs. Place was very clean compared to other places. They cleaned UNDER my nails without having to ask, most places do not and will not. Did a good job of getting the cream of my nails before they polished which is a big deal if you expect your polish to stay on more than a few days. Great massage with hot stones and put paraffin on my heels while polishing my toes. Massage was done with shea butter. I did not feel rushed, which is a big pet peeve in my book (I’m a manicurist FYI). I will go back!
