I have been at Schreibers Deli multiple times now.
The staff is always friendly and open for a joke.
The food tastes delicious!
Their classic is the German Potato Salad. Their soups are good as well.

2.5 stars. The sandwiches are average. There’s not much «love» put into assembling any sandwich. If you’re looking for a great sandwich, go down the road to Dante’s.
I remember the macaroni salad being better. I recently got a large container of it and it wasn’t seasoned enough and watery, too. Maybe it had been sitting around a while?
All the salads seem popular though. They seem to move quickly, which means they are making them often.

Great deli for a sandwich & sides.
Hot pastrami + swiss on rye w/​mustard — Tasty sandwich, average size, priced well, lean meat & rye was not over-​powering.
Cole Slaw — My favorite in Bergen County… not watery, fresh & perfect balance of ingredients.
Potato Salad — Great… this stuff looks bland but has a nice tangy flavor.
Cucumber salad — Light with just the right amount of tang to it.
Marconi Salad — Average
I am looking forward to trying the German potato salad on my next trip.
