Had one Desi chicken taco and one Amigo beef taco. For Indian/​Mexican fusion it was tasty and juicy. Nice for a change of pace from the usual trucks.

Desi fusion chicken burrito! One of the best food truck items I’ve tried! Indian fused with Mexican food. Interesting and yummy combo! Hopefully they will be frequenting UCIMC more often at lunchtime!

I tried a few of their dishes with my family and we’re all in agreement that it is just ok. On top of that, our wait was about 30 minutes with only 7 people in front of us.
We tried the somosas, amigos fries and amigos tacos. The somosas tasted like a large fried piece of potato with a little sauce on top. The fries appeared to be a large portion but it was mostly fries with small amount of meat, although the meat was tasty. Lastly, the tacos were not that memorable. Considering taste, portion size, and waiting time, I think 3 stars is a little generous but I’m hoping we just caught them on a bad day.

I went Indian, my niece went Mexican.
She ordered the Chorizo Samosas. She was served four pieces of yummy samosas that tasted strongly of cumin. We both enjoyed these.
I ordered the Desi Taco, which were actually two soft tacos. I chose chicken as my meat and I was happy with my choice. The meat was flavorful, there was a lot of curry along with something very spicy that tasted great until it got stuck in the back of my throat. Ouch.
Great truck, would definitely eat here again.

Got a chance to try this indian/​mexican fusion truck at Bootleggers in Fullerton. Can’t go wrong with great brews and food trucks.
So i started my afternoon with an order of the Desi Taco, and for $ 6 it came with 2. Soft tortilla with curry beef filling, very flavorful and tasty. Paired pretty good with many of the brews at Bootlegger’s
The other items on the menu looked good and I’ll have to track down this truck again to try them out.
Service was friendly and quick for my first visit, now hoping to experience the same soon.

Awful! Waited 40 minutes and they had half our order and burnt my daughter’s food. How do you burn a quesadilla? Went back and the only thing they could say is «sorry, we are really busy». What a joke!

i loove indian food as well as mexican food so i HAD to try this truck when i saw it in my area… indian+mexican fusion=brilliant!
this food truck serves awesome samosas! 4 pieces for 6 dollars. not too bad
the samosas (look for the pic i uploaded) were pretty big and full of potatoes, peas and other goodness. i loved how it wasnt too fried and i loved the sweet sauce that comes with it.
my sis and i wanted to try their picadillo combo plate but sadly they ran out. im looking forward to trying their other items :)

Wow only if my job would allow this truck to sell food to all my employees at work instead of buying food from another bad roach coach unlike most food trucks this one hits the spot by introducing a combination of Indian food an Mexican food rather fusion, I really like the curry taco dishes actually I love everything on the menu. It’s really nice to see rather taste food from this type of food vender it’s really different than any other type of food truck maybe you have to just drive down and see for yourself I promise you will not be disappointmented. One last thought, I never posted a review on any site before but I had to after eating off the truck.

Tried the chicken curry plate. Generous portion served with rice and sauteed veggies. Very mediocre as compared to most Indian fare I’ve tried. Sauce was zingy but salty. Rice tasted like plain white rice. Worst was veggies. Frozen mix with those awful crinkle cut carrots. $ 7. There are better truck options out there.

Oh my god. I love Indian food, and I love Mexican food. Put them together on a food truck? You have me instantly interested.
This truck is brand new and has only done a couple of events. The day I saw them was their very first day. I would need to try them again to give them a really proper review, so I hope to see them around again soon.
Caught them at Bootleggers. Heard from one of the girls that work at Bootleggers that they had spilled all of their curry, so they couldn’t serve most of their menu. I was interested to try the desi taco, because it seemed like a good fusion between Indian and Mexican, but they didn’t have it that day I’m guessing because of the curry incident. Instead we got the amigo taco. The only bit of Indian food in that taco was apparently a curry salsa. When we got it, it was just… good. Chicken marinated in the curry salsa (couldn’t really tell that it was curry other than the fact it was spicy) with cotija cheese, a lot (a little too much) of lettuce, and a really big (too big for its contents) flour tortilla (was supposed to be corn).
I’m going to give them 4 stars for the concept and because they’re new (so you should try them), but I think I really would like to see even more fusion between indian and mexican on their menu. They have chicken tikka masala and a curry plate, but how is that fusion? Great to have Indian food on a truck in any case. I didn’t find the amigo taco to be that great, ESPECIALLY not for $ 6 (you get 2), and not really that «fusion,» so I would normally give them a few less stars. An option to get single tacos so you can try different kinds would be nice also.
