DJ Chris Anthony

Chis Anthony was our DJ at our holiday party and he had us dancing our hearts out! He played an array of genres for all to enjoy, just as requested. He was professional, polite, accommodating and patient when we were running late. He was ready to go on time and was fashionably dressed. We had a blast and I can’t wait to work with him again. Ok, so this review is a bit late – but Chris was so amazing that I MUST share it with the rest of the world! He was absolutely, 100% professional and dedicated to ensuring that we got exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. We discussed every detail (my husband and I had VERY specific requests) and Chris just totally nailed it. At our wedding, we used both a DJ and a band, and Chris worked together with the band to ensure the party never stopped. He was a great MC, not cheesy or weird, like some of the wedding MCs out there, and he knew how to keep the energy of the crowd up. The dancing literally never stopped all night long, which is exactly what we wanted. Also, Chris put in extra time before the wedding to help us mix two songs together for our choreographed first dance and everyone went crazy for it. We trusted Chris with our most special day and he absolutely delivered.

My husband and I hired Chris to DJ our wedding and let me tell you we were beyond happy with our choice! To the emails and calls leading up to the wedding Chris was nothing but professional and so nice and helpful– He helped us along the way picking songs and offering suggestions the night. From the time our wedding started to the time we moved the party inside til the time it was time to go home– Chris had the dance floor filled at all times– we had the best mix of old school new school and all the classics along the way! DJ Chris Anthony is such an amazing DJ. He is sooooo friendly and easy to work with. My fiancé was searching for a DJ for weeks, trying to find someone who fit our taste in music and knew how to mix music to keep the party going. Once we heard the Cocktail Mix on his website, it was a no-​brainer — we HAD to get in contact with him ASAP. Once we reached out to him, everything was smooth-​sailing from there. He is extremely professional, answers any and all of your questions in a very timely fashion, and is just so damn good at what he does. Even my wedding coordinator halfway through the reception randomly came up to us and asked where we had found him (she was highly impressed by his professionalism, how easy he was to work with, and he was just so good at being our MC). That was just another sign to further validate what an amazing DJ he is. I would highly, highly, highly recommend him. Look him up! You will not be disappointed.
PS: we still play the music on his website while in the car or doing house errands because he is just that darn good.

Chris was our wedding DJ and he did a fantastic job! We had a variety of ages at our wedding, ranging from young kids to grandparents and he kept them all out on the dance floor having a great time! He is very professional and responds quickly to emails. Chris understands the musical taste of a variety of genres and is able to accommodate them into your wedding reception. We definitely recommend him to future wedding planners out there!

As an event planner a good DJ is incredibly hard to find. DJ Chris Anthony was professional, flexible and reliable from start to finish. He went above and beyond in making sure that we had all of the equipment we needed for our event. He was on-​time, professionally dressed and needed little direction. He was able to cater to our mixed demographic and he helped us to keep the pace of the event just where we wanted it all evening. By the end of the night he had everyone up out of their seats dancing! He definitely earned a spot in my top 3 list of DJ’s to call for events.

Accommodating & Professional. These are the first two things that come to mind. I had some unique requests for Chris and he never second guessed anything. He was always excited and eager to work with me on planning the music/​entertainment for my wedding, and on my wedding day he delivered beyond expectation. When it comes to finding a DJ for the wedding I became a groomzilla. I am a big music junkie and I know what I like and what I don’t like. I did a lot of searching trying to find the right DJ for the right price. We wanted a wedding but with a party feel. So after searching for a long time and talking to a lot of vendors I came across DJ Chris Anthony. He was very fast to respond. He was very open to untraditional wedding that we were having. He wanted to meet with us and discussed what we wanted. That’s where I knew I like this guy. Then I listen to his wedding mix and was sold (I still listen to it at the gym). I was very detailed in the music I would like played and he was very open to all of my suggestions always reminding me that it was our day and that he just wants to do it right. Fast forward to the wedding. He really put on a great show. He played a great mix of songs that keep everybody on the dance floor and help with the flow of speeches and toast. To be honest I could not have asked for a better DJ. He is extremely professional, patient and know how to have a good time. If we ever have any other type of event this is the guy I am going to call. If you’re looking for a DJ you will not be sorry working with him. You will be sorry if you do not work with him. I had the opportunity to work with Chris on a wedding we designed and coordinated. Our bride had already booked him so this was our first time working with him. We’ve worked with many D.J.‘s before and know all to well how important a role they play, not only in playing good music but in keeping the flow of an event running smoothly. Having never worked with Chris before I didn’t know what to expect. He showed up early and was totally prepared. He was super nice and easy to work with. He was given a timeline of events he was responsible for announcing and he killed it! He did such an amazing job of keeping the energy up, and making all of the important announcements without all of the typical cheezy D.J. banter. His music library was vast, hip and current. The guests loved him and never wanted to stop dancing. Chris was such a pleasure to work with, I can’t recommend him enough. You will not be sorry, I promise you that!

DJ Chris Anthony was the DJ for my wedding this past June in San Diego at Luce Loft. My wife and I were quite specific about what we wanted and what we didn’t want. Chris did a great job about communicating with us before the wedding and with our wedding planner and us on the day of to make it a wonderful experience. He was great at facilitating speeches before the dance party began and once it did, we partied off into the night to some great tunes. He kept us going with great beats and timely song choices. I highly recommend DJ Chris Anthony!

I was fortunate enough to book DJ Chris Anthony for my wedding. I had heard him at various clubs before and I loved his style and knew he was what I wanted for my wedding reception. I could not have been more right. He kept the dance floor packed all night and literally had everyone out of their seats.
Besides being a great DJ, he was also wonderful to work with. Very professional and most importantly, very reliable. He played all the music I wanted plus some. I would most definitely book him again for other events and recommend him to everyone I know who is looking for an amazing DJ.

I’m a videographer with over 8 years experience in the wedding industry, and I take note of exceptional vendors when we cross paths from time to time. I had the opportunity to work with Chris Anthony last weekend, and he definitely falls into that category. We spoke over the phone a few days before the event to ensure that everybody was on the same page, and I was able to record an audio line from his sound board with no problem at all. Sometimes DJs are caught off guard when I ask to record a copy of their audio for the client’s video. Chris knew exactly what I needed and the recording came out perfect. Beyond that, he was very helpful giving the vendors a heads up before moving forward with formalities of the reception. It’s very important for videographers in particular to be rolling cameras as announcements are made, and you would be surprised how many DJs I meet that either forget, or don’t care. One other thing worth mentioning is that he stuck to the itinerary, and didn’t blast the audio too loud as so many DJs seem to think they should.
The bottom line is, Chris Anthony was not only good at his job, but you could tell that he actually cared. We may all carry copies of the wedding itinerary, but the person holding the microphone is the one who actually sets things in motion. As a vendor in another category, I appreciate DJs who not only respect the itinerary, but give us that much appreciated heads-​up as it all unfolds. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

I have nothing but good things to say about DJ Chris Anthony. I have used him for a personal party, been to bars he’s performed at as well as a corporate event. He is very professional and down to earth which is awesome! He played all the great jams and kept the dance floor shaking. He made sure to play all my favorite songs and genres of music. He even played last minute request songs by the crowd. He was on-​time, professional, reasonably priced, and kept the crowd on their feet. He did a great job!!! I would recommend him to anyone and I will forsure be using him again. I can’t wait to set a date so he can then DJ my wedding!

I recently worked with DJ Chris Anthony on a wedding I coordinated, and he was amazing! Not only was he a great DJ and MC, but communicating with him even before the day of the wedding was a breeze. DJ Chris Anthony is amazing! He was referred to me through a friend of a friend while I was planning our wedding last year. My husband and I had very specific idea of what sort of DJ and entertainment we were looking for. First and foremost FUN. We love to dance and we knew that the DJ would set the tone for the event.
After one phone call with Chris I knew he was the one! We met 2 or so times before our event and emailed otter to pin down all the details. He handled all our ceremony music as well as reception.
