Russ Gilbert has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for over fifteen years. I get compliments on my hair all of the time. Over the years my needs have changed and Russ has made great suggestions to keep my hair at its best while also gently prodding me to make changes for a fresh look. Now days I see him every month since my hair needs frequent color updates. Needless to say we spend a lot of time together and I consider him a dear friend, too. He is a stylist you can count on having a long term relationship with who makes every effort to keep you looking your best.

I have been getting my hair done by Danielle for the past few years now and am always extremely happy with the beautiful work she does. I always love changing up my hair and Danielle makes my vision come to reality perfect every single time! The color work she does is incredible without damaging your hair, unlike other places I’ve been. I highly recommend for everyone to go to Danielle because I will never go anywhere else again!

I am completely disappointed in this salon after my usual hairstylist did not show up for our scheduled appointment… on my WEDDING DAY!!! I have been a regular client here for the last 6 months. I hired Lawrence to do my hair/​my daughter’s hair for my wedding last week.
About a month in advance, we did the trial run and scheduled an appointment for the day of the wedding. I confirmed my appointment again a week before the actual date. Unfortunately, Lawrence never showed up.
Aside from the pure outrage that goes along with your hairstylist not showing up on your wedding day, I have never encountered such unprofessionalism. What’s worse is that after numerous voice messages and texts I still have not received a response. I decided to write this review after finally confirming with the salon that there was no personal emergency and seemingly no excuse for missing the appointment.
Words cannot express my frustration, to say that this is poor customer service is an extreme understatement. No one should have to go through this, especially on their wedding day! I cannot speak regarding other stylists at the salon, only to my personal experience… in which case, book at your own risk.

I’ve been coming here for at least a couple years now. Brigette really helps me maintain my style and my budget! She’s GREAT at color (high lites, low lites and especially eradicating my grays) and always knows how to accentuate the positive! Thank you Brigette!
Ps: their salon label shampoos and conditioners seem to really work well!

Every time I have gone here (because the prices are good), I have left hating my hair and needing to go somewhere else to get it fixed. A specific lady I went to the first time I asked for blonde hair and she made it look red. The second time, I drove the hour out there and she decided to leave when I was needing to get my hair done for a wedding. Luckily, a nice lady felt bad for me and offered to stay past her shift and do my hair. This last time (and will forever be the last time) I asked for an ombré and she decided not to do it and changed completely what I asked for. Gave me blonde highlights when I said I didn’t want any blonde. Gave me all over color when I wanted her to leave my natural color alone. Messed up the ends accidentally dying it silver and had to chop off my hair that i had been growing out for two years. My hair is now ashy, ugly, and short. SHE EVEN CHARGED ME THE HIGH END PRICE FOR THE OMBRÉ SHE DIDNT EVEN DO. I now have to go somewhere else this week and pay even more money because I have a special work event that I need to look decent for. If you value your appearance and want to be listened to (especially when it comes to something your paying to get done to your body) pay the few extra bucks and go somewhere else. I beg you not to make the same mistake I did repeatedly.

Ooooh my God! ‘Twas the night before thanksgiving and all the nail salons were closed. Fresh off job #2 7:10pm and my two main spots were closed! As well as all the other Tustin salons I called but then I came across this gem and CINDY Wonderful Cindy saved the night! She’s so good at what she does I HIGHLY recommend her! Even though she’d been booked since 8am she still took me. She made my fat’O nail beds look thin and beautiful and she could even tell I’m left handed! 10 stars to Cindy my #1 Goto for fab nails from now on!

I have been getting my hair done by Danielle for probably 6 – 7 years and I swear she is a colorist genius! She has taken me from brunette to red, to blonde multiple times without damaging my hair! The salon is also very clean and well kept! Really the whole staff is amazing, Leanna at the front desk is always really sweet! If you are looking for a new stylist I definitely reccommend Danielle!!!

Jenn is awesome. Love getting my cuts from her. This place is open late, so totally works schedule-​wise.

Tucked away facing Katella is this gem. A gal at my dentist office recommended this place and she didn’t disappoint. It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon but everyone was happy. Saw Danny Donovan and he fixed my mess of short hair that had been not quite right from the previous cut elsewhere. Super friendly and already made an appointment to come back. Clean, great energy, friendly staff.

I have been a hairstylist at this salon for almost 6 years and I can’t imagine ever working anywhere else. My clients love the amenities and atmosphere of the salon and how the receptionists and staff tend to them. The owner provides a clean and up to date salon with the intention of keeping the stylists and clients happy! I feel so lucky to have found a work environment that is so accommodating and that I get to work with stylists that are experienced, kind, creative, and able to inspire each other everyday. Needless to say Bushire Salon and Spa is an exceptional place to be apart of!

I have been working at this salon for a little over 8 years now and I love it!!! I love my coworkers, love the work environment the owner has created for us. It’s become a family for me in many ways. The salon gets decorated for Halloween and Christmas every year. We also have a costume contest and a really nice holiday party. I really enjoy working here and would recommend it to any stylist looking for a new place to work.

Sophia did a great job on my hair I’m the happiest girl. She is very nice and friendly it’s a must to go with her :)

Had THE BEST experience with Dianna Salazar! She’s an amazing stylist with super reasonable pricing. If you’re looking for a colorist who knows how to cut she’s your gal!

I’ve been going to Bushire for over 8 years and love this salon! April Gunderson is my hair fairy and she does the most awesome coloring job ever! Seriously– she knows her stuff! She is an awesome colorist or if you need a color correction she is the bomb! Aside from her, everyone is always so nice and welcoming here. I love being able to walk in to my hair salon and feel like I am family and this place definitely does this! It’s always spic and span clean and they even have an espresso bar. I love it here and won’t go anywhere else. You can get your hair did, your hooves buffed, and get a wax all in 1 trip!

They close at 9:00 but if you come in at 8:25 like I did you will be told they are closed. I’m not very happy about wasting my gas to come here. Very unprofessional. Sorry but that deserves a 1 star rating. Will never give them my business and I recommend going elsewhere for a haircut.

This salon is clean, spacious and professional. Dianna does my hair and she is a rockstar! It looks great every single time! It’s a busy salon, but I am always taken care of and if you request Dianna you will not be disappointed. She is great at her trade, always accommodating to my schedule and needs, and is so friendly and sweet… not to mention fair prices. Can’t beat that!

This chick has some serious skills! I have had extensions since the age of 18, and I have paid some absolute ridiculous prices. (I’m talking $ 800 and up!) I have been searching for a hairdresser that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg, isn’t too far away, still does good coloring, efficient/​quick, and of course delivers a great job… Amanda brings ALL of those things!
I found her through a previous Unilocal review on here, and I couldn’t be happier. Amanda has you buy the hair, (I recommend Linda’s Beauty Supply on Orangethorpe in Fullerton, they are reasonably priced.) You give her the extensions a day or so before installation. She then custom sews the wefts together and attaches the silicone beads to the wefts. (Never seen this before, but it is the ABSOLUTE BEST!) Her installation feels so comfy on the head! I have never been in pain after a tightening, nor have I lost a bead. I can also go longer without tightening.
Amanda has talent. She could easily go somewhere else and jack her prices up like most hairdressers too, but she prefers to be honest and reasonable while doing superb work.
Bottom line, if you want quality hair… go see AMANDA MOSLEY at Bushire Salon. She’s simply the best

Taylor has been doing my hair for years and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I get compliments from so many people and my response is always «Thank you, Taylor Freeman at Burshire Salon in Orange.» Taylor is kind, confident, friendly, and AMAZING. I now have my Mom, my daughter and friends going to get their hair done by Taylor.
