Wow — what happened? The cashier was on drugs or something. Took 10 mins to order with her and my order was wrong. The food was cold and the fruit parfait was unacceptable. Idiotic. A complete let down.

I only come here because I work close by and even when I do come here I always regret it. They are so slow and continue to mess up my order. I even ordered online to try and avoid the wait and they messed up my order and I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for it to be fixed. I am literally Unilocaling as I stand here and everyone who works here is ignoring me. Two other gentlemen were also having issues with their orders. One never got his food and had to ask for a refund and the other persons food was again incorrect. The staff and management was not apologetic whatsoever. Not ever coming back no matter how close they are. Starbucks has better sandwiches anyway.

What the crap… My hot chocolate was barely filled to the top. It was only a little more than half full when I received it. Then the pancakes, not even fully cooked! Very undercooked. There was still batter in the center! What kind of food is this place serving?! We notified the wait staff and they made us new pancakes. But guess what? Still mushy! The only redeeming thing about this place was my pastry was decently tasting. Would I come here again? Nope. Neither should you. Terrible!

Although it isn’t terrible, this place seems to get worse by the month. So far they have pulled my three favorite items from the menu in the last year. And the staff doesn’t seem to listen when you order as the order comes out wrong about 50% of the time at the location. At this point I consider this place a small step above Denny’s. Time to find a new sandwich and salad place…

This location is slow when u order at the register and even when you order online ahead of time. We ordered our food online like 4 hours ago to be ready by 12pm and it’s still not ready. This place sucks!!! 05.19.2016 Giving a star to Kasey, the Mgr. I placed an order on the phone… Ordering the Anaheim Scramble with no onions. The person read and took my order correctly, but when I look at it, it came with onions. Wtf! So irritating!

My boyfriend and I ate at this Corner Bakery yesterday(April 15th2016) for breakfast. We were limited on time because he had to work but we wanted to enjoy a quick bite to eat also, so he ordered over the phone. The lady that took the order over the phone repeated exactly what we were getting. I ordered a spinach and avocado power flat and he ordered the Anaheim Scramble with turkey instead of bacon and fruit as his side. We ordered at 10:50am and the order was said to take 10 minutes. When we arrived at 11:10 am they didn’t have our order in the system. The clerk had to ask around to figure out what they named it under. After they found our order, we paid and waited. My food came out first, all was fine. My boyfriend waited about 10 minutes until he received his order. The order was incorrect. He specifically asked for his meal to have turkey instead of bacon. So, he brought it to the attention of the clerk and the clerk stated that she knew there was turkey since she made it. He showed her and she confirmed it was bacon. No apology. Another 10 minutes later, his food came back. This time he did not receive his fruit and the scramble did not include the avocado(which was advertised on the door). At this point, he is beyond frustrated, running behind on time, and just wanted to eat. He took his order back up to inform them of their mistakes and ask for a to go box since we would not have time to enjoy the meal. The clerk did not apologize again, and brought out her supervisor, Stacey. Stacey refunded the meal when we asked but and didn’t even offer to fix the order. Stacey did not apologize, let alone look at him nor I. So in the midst of trying to be proactive and order in advance, it didn’t do us any good. In the end, it wasn’t so much the food nor the refund that had me upset enough to write a review. It was the lack of customer service provided by the establishment. A simple apology sometimes is what people really want.

This is my favorite Corner Bakery location. The best place to people watch and have a simple salad or sandwich. It’s simply like another panera bread, but their own rendition of sandwiches, soups, and salads. The staff here are really friendly and they always greet you with a smile. I usually always leave here not feeling overly stuffed and just right! I just wished their menu was a little more expansive, especially their salads.

Food here is very good. I got to the cashier without knowing what I wanted, so i winged it and ordered the cuban press. I wasn’t disappointed. It was a very nice grilled sandwich with shredded pork plus other fillings. I dont remember exactly but check it out sometime, I definitely recommend it. The cashier was a sweet lady. It wasnt too busy on a thursday afternoon. The only thing I should mention is that they gave us the wrong kind of salad, and skipped out on our order of fresh fruit. Obviously they were nice enough to bring the correct salad and fruit to us. Otherwise the food is served with nice portions. The sandwiches come with a bag of potato chips. They have tapatio AND tabasco at the tables, so thats a plus. Overall it wasna satisfying experience.

I’m a regular customer this is probably my 20th visit here at corner bakery in this outlet and the Service today has been graded as C minus First the clerk taking my order showed her impatient face and she’s lacking of training by this food and drink establishment Cynthia is the manager so she understood what I said instantly but not that new clerk. Many restaurants have a card as an incentive for customers to return to get a free coffee I asked a clerk a few weeks ago, what shall I do if I forgot to bring that card? She said, bring those receipts with card and we will stamp on card I did today but… That new clerk only marked on 1 spot on the card, not 2 spots even I mentioned that I showed her 2 receipts. New clerk called Cynthia and I had 2 spots marked, after spending 5 minutes to educate that new employee of this famous chain. I think I will give my card to my friend and take my business to Market Broiler across street. Mirna is the only one kept greeting me after I initiated conversation with her. I was a server 30 years ago and I was the one initiated conversation to make customers feel home. Did this chain has no training at all? Take extra steps, for GOD’s sake.

Local Corner Bakery located within a few minutes from my house. Its perfect for times when I’m sick and am in dire need of some soup. The place is super nice and relatively large enough with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Located at the Outlets of Orange, formerly known as the Block, this Corner Bakery is a convenience for sure. I usually come through just for the soup. Whatever soup they have, I’m there. The sandwiches are decently nice but its the soup that got me coming back. Since the closest souplantation is miles from my house, I always come through here instead. The chicken noodle soup is my absolute favorite all time, but I wish here they would add just a tad more chicken. I wasn’t complaining though, but it would be nice and more fulfilling. Overall, its a nice place to grab a hearty dinner. For a lunch spot its not bad either though I rarely come through during lunch.

I have been to Corner Bakery countless times and that is for good reason. The food usually tastes good and I consider it a reliable place to eat. At least I did before I came to this location. My friend ordered a chicken pesto sandwich. Luckily, she checked her sandwich before walking away and noticed that it was missing a key ingredient, the pesto. She took the sandwich back and they gave her a side of pesto. My other friend ordered a chicken pesto sandwich about 15 minutes later and also did not have pesto on his sandwich. In my to-go order, we ordered a cookie and didn’t realize that we didn’t get it until we had left. When my BF went back, they apologized and gave him two cookies to make up for it, which was a nice gesture. The cookie incident is forgivable, but making the same mistake for two completely different orders leads me to believe that there is an issue with their preparation methods.

We were Disneyland visitors preparing for the traffic-laden return home and in need of a quick but delicious breakfast. Denny’s was across the street from our hotel but wouldn’t suffice. We found Corner Bakery, which we know well, as an excellent option. Google Maps had trouble navigating me to this location in the middle of the mall but I found it on foot. This location is massive compared to the smaller locations I’ve visited. They have a full counter just for catering. Must be a lot of catering in this area. The menu is the same — really solid staple food. I ordered the bacon and cheddar panini with coffee and it hit the spot. Wife had pancakes and she liked them. Daughter wanted a cinnamon roll but didn’t complain about the cinnamon muffin — it’s big. The mall was quiet but glad to see Corner Bakery right in the middle.

I’ve been to corner bakery only a couple of times, enough to have a pretty solid opinion of it! Let’s begin with the pros! Now, no matter which location you go to, I can promise you the same exact feeling and soothing atmosphere in each one. I’m not sure why, maybe it’s because of the tables, lighting, or cute little salt and pepper shakers, but there’s something about this place that makes me feel at peace when I walk in and grab a nearby booth. So if you’re the type of person who’s into the perfect brunch setting where you can gossip and just stay there for hours on end, this is the perfect place for you. One of my favorite dishes is the chicken carbonara, and often times when I’m craving it, this is the place to go(mainly because Lazy Dog is too far from my location). The chicken is always cooked to perfection and they surprisingly give you a lot of chicken to go with it, plus, the sauce they have there is absolutely incredible and warms your heart. Also, one of the main reasons why I mainly order the pasta is because the garlic bread they give you is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Like the crunchy, but not too crunchy, consistency and the garlic taste is just about right — doesn’t over power the bread itself, and instead incorporates itself into it. Now onto the cons — the reason why I mentioned how surprising the larger quantity of chicken is, is because of the fact that their food portions are ridiculously small. Keep in mind, I’m taking into consideration the whole aspect of price to portion ratio, and this is one of the saddest. The ‘café’ vs ‘entrée’ sizes is demeaning in my opinion; when I asked the cashier what was the difference, I was expecting a plate that was significantly larger than the ‘café’(the smaller plate) one, but I was in for a let down. I know I’m quite the stickler when it comes to pricing and portion sizes, but I just want the best for the price I’m paying! See, the prices to portion ratio only made me dock off one star — the lack of spices and taste is what made me give this place three stars. Sure the chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection, but the pastas sure weren’t. You know how people are supposed to salt the pasta while it’s being boiled? I guess they didn’t salt it, before and after. The sauce didn’t entirely make up for the lack of seasoning either, although it was extremely savory and I did appreciate that aspect a lot(reminded me of alfredo sauce)! The lack of seasoning in the food itself explains why the cute little salt and pepper shakers are there. Overall though, the food tastes fine after you take the extra hassle of seasoning your own dish, but it’d still be great if they can start incorporating different spices, other than just sticking to the typical: olive oil, salt, and pepper combination. Also, the lemon pound cake was just bad — like, there’s no other way to describe it than bad. Overall, Corner Bakery, although has some ridiculous portions when compared to the sizes and needs to season their food more — is the still the number one spot for me when it comes to going out to brunches.

By far the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Came here on the day after Christmas and they were sold out of half the things on the menu. The portion sizes are meager and my husband’s mac and cheese was the same size as the kid’s size. I understand that you are busy, but why are you skimping on portion sizes and bringing food out cold? Extremely disappointing. Pass. I’d rather be hungry than eat here.

After specifically asking the manager to make sure my daughter’s pasta came out hot, it didn’t again. This will be the last time we visit. After taking back the pasta for the manager to see that in fact it was cold, she just blew me off and said thats how it comes nothing she can do. Well corner bakery you just lost a customer.

I like it here. Seating is ample and open. Service is typically fast. Preparation is consistent and pleasant. Paninis are never burned. Salads are never soggy. Sandwiches don’t fall apart. I’m deducting one star because the dining areas(inside and out) are not kept very clean, but I understand that this is a high traffic area and there are many tables to monitor. Management is also usually pretty poor and the employees are 50⁄50. But I come here for food, not friends, so a solid 4 stars. For Dad and I, we always order the Chicken Pomodori Panini. Here, the panini is never burned and the portion size is on the larger end. Chicken is never dry and the basil and spinach leaves are fresh. For Mom, it’s the Uptown Turkey sandwich. It is almost always prepared properly, though on a couple of instances, the assembly was very poor with all the pieces falling apart and making the sandwich impossible to eat. Bread is never stale though and the bread is what makes or breaks a sandwich, so we’re happy. On occasion… Pesto Cavatappi. Creamy and light and doesn’t make you feel heavy or sick when you’re done. Pasta noodles are firm and the little bread given on the side is warmed for you. Good. Chicken Carbonara pasta is also good. Not too heavy despite the creamy sauce. Plenty of pasta and bacon and doesn’t load you up with frozen peas. Service is fast unless you catch them on an off day. It’s been slow when it was busy but it’s also been slow when they were dead. Whatever the reason. I seem to be luckier than most of the reviewers because slow service is less common for us, and we come here often. All in all, I like it here, but I will admit that the location on Main St. in the Mother’s shopping plaza is my favorite. =)

The food is great. I love the sandwiches and soup. They have tons of seating, however they don’t have the capability to handle all the seating. I had to wait 17 minutes for my meal

Grrrrr… Stopped here super hungry after a long flight only to be miserably disappointed. Maybe it’s my slow Florida understanding of what«flatbread» is but I ordered a «flatbread» expecting a thin, pizza like entrée of deliciousness and instead I got a sandwich… But not just ANY sandwich… I got the tiniest, puniest, sorriest excuse of a sandwich ever. It was seriously so small that it pissed me off… It was so small that my family had to donate pieces of their sandwiches for me to eat so I didn’t STARVE… It was so small that I took a picture for all of you to see… I’m never coming back here. Stingy, puny food having restaurant –_–

Decent place to have a casual sit down lunch. It was kind of chilly, so soup sounded really good. Corner Bakery fit the bill perfectly. I opted for the ½ sandwich/soup combo, and it also comes with a bag of chips and a pickle. I thought $ 8.79 was a pretty decent price for all that. Chicken Pomodori Panini: Contained roasted chicken, fresh basil and spinach, oven-roasted tomatoes and provolone cheese with pesto mayo. Mmm, I am a fan of the oven-roasted tomatoes! ~ 4⁄5 Chicken Lemon Orzo Soup: It was tasty, but I wish that they had heated up the soup a bit more, because it was already pretty lukewarm when it got to me. ~ 3⁄5 Pretty much just like any other Corner Bakery in terms of food and service. Food: 4, Service: 3, Environment: 3, Price: 3

This place is great to grab a LIGHTLUNCH, however my only complaint is that it feels forever when you are on a quick lunch! APPROXWAIT is a good 10 mins. I’m sad that they no longer carry the Reuben panini. That was amazing. Some recommendations: — CHICKENPOMODORIPANINI that is consist of chicken, tomato base, pavilion cheese w/pesto mayo, fresh Brasil & spinach. — I like the SALADANDPASTA COMBOas well. Choice of salad & pasta. Cesar’s salad & pesto pasta. * add some Tapatio to it for some spice! Total was a little less than $ 20 Over years the portion has cut down, but then again… We are so use to LARGE portions that the amount seemed small. At the end, it was a perfect filling. :)
