D & B @ The Block UYE

WHAT AN AMAZING HOST !!!
this was my second event. both times meeting completely new people and everyone turned out to be real nice. Beth made a beautiful Unilocal sign.
Cassina made everyone feel at home. She treated us to food, drinks, games. we couldn’t have asked for a better person to host an event.

Well, what can I say — Cassina — you’re UYE was one helluva party!
Things started out slow in the back of D&B (who the hell knew there was a patio inside the building?) Got to meet some cool new Unilocalers. Even our server was a Unilocaler! (well, until Nikkie ditched us to work in another section). Beer, shots, appetizers, and good conversations made Part 1 a success.
But wait, there’s more! After we’re done, we head down to Lucky Strike, where Cassina has arranged for us to go bowling. By this time, the party kicked into high gear as the booze went into overdrive. Matt «I’m a madman» was Out Of Control! I wonder what he remembers, but the pics tell the tale :) We had our own party central on lanes 1 and 2. Drinkin’, dancin’, oh, and I think we bowled too!
Cassina — what can I say? You were one gracious hostess, going WAY beyond the call of duty — drinks, food, games! All I can say is the next time, everything is going to be on us!

Cassina definitely brought her «A» game and delivered.
I had to snatch her wallet to stop her from feeding us but unfortunately she acquired it with her powers to move objects and poof… More food and drinks.
I had been informed of the UYE a couple days earlier and I wasn’t optimistic about going bec I had been up since 430a and in school since 745a. By 6p, I was usually tired. «Don’t be a «cotton-​headed ninny-​muggins.» says the Will Farrel elf conscience in the back of my head. And I’m glad I listened :). I made my way to DnB’s and met some of the spiffiest, united un-​cliqued group I’ve ever seen. And safe to say I felt at home in this wild… night LMAO. What was amazing is that I asked around sometime that night how many UYE’s these folks have been to and most said «It’s my first one.» That is amazing to know that we have created a unified dynamic because of Cassina’s UYE. For that, she deserves more than thank you’s. I think more like, admission into elite-​ism should suffice.

TGIF: Food, drinks. I was stuffed so I didn’t eat. The two girls (Beth and Cassina) however, needed encouragement to be fed because something’s gotta absorb all that alcohol lol.

On a side note of such randomness, Matt is HILARIOUS! A few alcoholic beverages down this guy’s throat meant a metamorphosis of comedic laughter! One moment, he seemed like the conservative clean-​cut type. Later on, he’s transformed into a party animal with Nick Swardson’s humor (Yes, I can say that and yes I’ve met the real Nick Swardson… Ref: Facebook Mobile uploads 7 of 10 photo lol).
Once again, Thank you all the new friends I’ve made for such a great time and special thanks to Cassina for making this possible (Phew! I feel like I’m accepting an award…)!

What can I say… a male Unilocaler surrounded by Unilocal cuties (Shari, Cassina, and Beff), and a bunch of cool dudes, all of us drinking and having a good time. What’s not to like? I arrived at D&B’s early on, where we just basically sat around chatting and enjoying a few drinks, and just getting to know one another. Later on we moved to the games, where as Shari mentioned, myself, her, and Glen C. tore it up on the Daytona driving, Harley riding, and the trivia game.
Cassina then moved our happy bunch to Lucky Strike next door, for more drinks and bowling. And despite what the scoreboard said, I’m a much better bowler; I was just holding back, since I’m like the Kobe Bryant of bowling, and didn’t want to show everyone else up. Mad skills on the lanes, son.:-p But after a few hours of drinking and hanging out, and meeting new Unilocalers in the process, it was back to reality. Had to go home so I could be ready for work the next day.:-/
In short, I had a great time! Major, MAJOR props to planner Cassina, who did a FANTASTIC job organizing everything, and making sure we all had a good time. Good times, good food, good friends… this is what Unilocal should be about. Definitely one of the best UYEs I’ve ever attended.

Jesus H. on a Popsicle stick! WOW! This was not an ELITE EVENT? I have yet to go to an Elite event, but Cassina seriously put her very 1^st UYE event down as one of the best UYE’s I’ve ever been to. It was like your very first lay… harder to top! My God, Tyyyyyronnnne! On to my review…
So I get to The Block in Orange (formerly «Orange County»), arrive at Dave & Buster’s and see Ryan, David, Glen F., Paul, Beth and Cassina chillin at the patio bar/​resturaunt at the back.
Much love to Paul E. for the sampler plate and to Cassina for EVERYTHING… I mean… EVERYTHING…this was her very 1^st hosted UYE and she damn near paid for everyone… I’m saying D&B foods, drinks, games, and yes… even bowling at Lucky Strikes because she’s such a baller like that Mack 10 & Glasses Malone song that goes «When I grow up I wanna be a big ballerrrr… ballin like there’s no tomorrow!». Wow, Cassina wasn’t lying when she said that I needed a shot for my crazy comments towards Katheline, so she got me a shot of something, I forgot what it was! Hahaha!
LOL…so off to the games… first, I played DEAL OR NO DEAL where Matt actually helped me win 750 tickets because he was buzzed and actually picked the right freakin suitcase! Haha! Thanks Matt!
Oh man… this was the beginning of Matt’s drunken journey for the night… LMAO…Shari said that he reminded her of the dentist in «The Hangover» as you will see later on this review…
I ended up also playing some racing games with Paul E. and Shari! YAY!
It was so much fun seeing and hanging out with Beth R. because she’s always awesome! She even made a cool little Unilocal sign thingy for everyone to sign when they would find our group! Creative and cool girl this Bethany is…
During bowling, Noi and Shari were freakin hilarious…
hahahhaa this is how Matt changed from a mild-​mannered individual to a freakin wedding crasher… definitely one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met on Unilocal after seeing his mature and drunk sides…

Oh man… like I said. this event was not even an Elite event, but it sure felt like one! I honestly don’t know if anyone can top this UYE because I sure can’t and I’m forever grateful towards Cassina wether she does another one just like this or not! Hell, we should all treat her out one day! :)
Okay…the food at D&B’s was great as usual… Shari’s lucky non-​lactose intolerant-​ass got some nice mac & cheese that she Rachael Ray’d by eating half and packed some to bring home.
At Lucky Strikes, we bowl’d, ate and drank. Noi and everyone tried to take Cassina’s wallet to stop her from buying us so much food and drinks because she did so much already! Oh my god, it was crazy seeing Glen F. and Matt drunk off their asses! Noi and Shari were freakin hilarious. Nicholas M. and his friend Edwin were awesome… LOL @ Nicholas thinking that I was the one who was arguing with him about Kobe and Lebron! It was also really cool and quite educational learning about the Marines by Noi and Ryan P. As always, I loved how our group was so multi-​cultural/​diverse of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds… this was a prime example of why I love Unilocal.There were no cliques in our party, no drama, no bullshit, just a bunch of drunks, hungry f*cks and pervs sharing UNITY. These UYE’s make me feel as if Unilocal is my new religion. Thank you Cassina and thank you Unilocal

My first UYE and my first of many! I had sooooo much fun last night! It was my first time meeting Unilocalers, and man oh man, this group was nuts! LOL. Beth R… and Shari M… both down ass chicks… words cannot even describe these two, real down to earth, most def chicks I can’t wait to hang out with agan! Beth R. and I took a shot right as we got settled in annnnnd two more at the end of the night hahaha nd wouldn’t eat because of our diets hahahahaha… Shari M and I were gettin low at Luck Strike haha… damn I could go on forever about these two… I loooooove you ladies!
Now for the fellaz, Paul E… I wanna start off by saying, I’m sooo glad u found us! haha… ur such a sweetheart! Thanks for introducing me to a new drink nd getting me out of my henny and coke comfort zone haha… Glen C… ur a chill dude… I’m glad u took me up on that shot =) post those pixs mang!!! Matthew M… hahahaha ur freakin hilarious! Next time we hang out I’ll stay off my phone hehehehe… Matthew M and Glen F… raspberry vodka shot… nice…seeing u two dance at lucky strike. priceless! I think Matthew M chassed me around the lanes trying to take my wallet hahahaha… Noi…u too, are a sweetheart nd thanks for forcing Beth R and I to eat LOL. Damn…I hope there is no one I am forgetting! All in all, this group was amazing, so down to earth, funny, outgoing, just real chill people, I had fun with each and every one of you guys and I cannot thank you guys enough for making my first UYE a success!!! It was nice meeting all of you and seriously cannot wait to hang out again… you guys seriously are the shiiiiiizzzznnnnnit!!!
