I brought in a Dyson and Shark on a weekend. Luckily it was empty at the time so Ted (manager) was able to diagnose them right away. The Dyson took only a few hours to fix, while the Shark only needed a cleaning and mild tap to release a stuck switch. Daniel at the counter was also very helpful. They have a fabulous coffee machine with free drinks for customers. The place is easy to find, lots of parking, neat and brightly lit. Highly recommend!

I am so happy with the kind service I received on my Shark Rotator vacuum at D&H Service Center. They are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Offering me espresso or a bottle of water for the road, the guy seemed genuinely sorry to have to tell me that my vacuum probably wouldn’t be ready for 48 hours… I had gone expecting to leave it a few days or a week. I vacuum every day (pets) so I had some anxiety about all this — so I was extremely pleased when they called later the same day to say it was ready! They fixed the problem and completely cleaned and tuned up my vacuum for $ 99 with a one-​year warranty on their services. We are very lucky to have this caring, trustworthy local business. The Springers and their employees know what they are doing.

I went in at opening time, the place was pretty empty. The guy at the counter is really friendly and helpful, they offer you water or tea/​coffee when you go in. I was in need of a filter for my vacuum, he helped me figure out exactly what I needed because I brought the piece in, and he explained to me what had gone wrong with it. They did not have the filter in stock, but he put in the order, I paid, and it was ready about 2 weeks later. This place is reasonably priced, right off the main street, and has ample parking. I will definitely be going back for my vacuum or sewing needs.

Great job on our vacuum. Fixed it and made it like new. Better to repair then replace. Also sharpened all our kitchen knives. Very cool place and they can fix anything.

brought my vacuum in because my dog chewed up the hose and it was crazy clogged with pillow stuffing. they got it back in working order in 1 day! they were all super friendly and offered me water each time I came in for drop off and pick up. this place is a must for good customer service.

My darlin’ little Elna was running a little rough, so I brought her to D & H for some spa time. The store itself is clean and well-​organized. Repairs and sales out front and a sewing section off to the side. They took my machine and said they would call in a day or so with an estimate. I got my estimate and OK’d the work. I was told about a week and a half (gasp, please not that long), but it actually turned out to be about a week. I am very happy with the work they did on my machine (with a 1 year work guarantee), and loved the customer service. OK, it didn’t hurt that they carried my hefty machine out to my car for me! I would definitely recommend this store for sewing machine repair.

This place is so dishonest to their clients. I went in for a part replacement and they told me I needed to replace the whole bottom part because it was all one piece… They quoted me close to $ 200.00… After some internet research, I found the part for $ 12.00 and did it myself. I understand not every person knows how to do basic repairs, but at least educate yourself to not get ripped off!!!

I have been a very satisfied customer of D & H Sewing & Vacuum for over 25 years and have always had a super positive experience during each time an appliance broke or failed. I trust Jerry and his friendly and knowledgeable staff with all my vacuum, shaver and hair clipper needs.

I absolutely love D & H. The staff is very friendly and professional. They can fix anything that you can fit through their doors. They have repaired dozens of items for me over the past 30 years. Last time I came in, Jerry the owner overhauled my broken down Dyson free of charge. He told me, «Thank you for your all the business you have brought to us». I thank you for all you do. God bless.

Super friendly, great customer service every time I’ve come here which was both pick up and drop off. Very clean store and excellent turn around time. They claim to fix everything here and it looks like they offer sewing classes too. I got my sewing machine fixed here and it was a great experience.

Stopped in to inquire about repairing my Norelco triple-​head shaver. Dropped it yesterday and head portion fell apart.
Presented to gentleman behind counter, he took a look, fixed it and returned it to me as I waited.
When asked about cost of repair, he replied «No charge».
Wow, what a nice surprise. An establishment that will not attempt to gouge you!

Nolan and Ted are always so helpful here! They have a great staff and wonderful service! I love that they offer sewing classes and the place comes off very family friendly. They offer sewing machines and vacuums in most price ranges too which I really appreciated. They are very honest with what they think you should use for your home and what brands to stay away from! I will be back!

The number of positive reviews seemed too good to be true, but this business really exceeded my expectations! Not only was the customer service fast, friendly and first rate, but my 10-​year-​old vacuum is running like new. I was so impressed, I’m bringing my sewing machine in for a tune up next week.

I fell in love with how friendly and helpful the staff is from the first time I walked into the door. I’m extremely blessed to find a teacher like Diane she is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Diane helped me find my own passion for sewing. I can’t imagine a better place then D & H to bring my business to. I eventually bought my first Sewing Machine from D&H and couldn’t be happier.

Excellent service! Brought my vacuum machine by to get serviced. The gentlemen who helped me said let me take a look at it. He came back in two minutes and said all fixed. It was just a loose chord not broken. He said free of charge since it was just a loose chord. I highly recommend their services.

I have used D&H for my sewing machine service, vacuum service, sewing lessons and sewing supplies for several years now. I always receive excellent and courteous service. I currently own a Janome sewing machine and LOVE that they carry anything Janome I could need!!! The added bonus of offering sewing and quilting classes is wonderful. I highly recommend D&H!!!

I took my vacuum for repair a few weeks ago. I found D&H by going through Unilocal (duh). They had so many positive reviews and it is very local to where I live at so I made the trek down to D&H.
The employees at D&H are very friendly and informative. I was offered complimentary coffee, tea or water while the damage was assessed on my vacuum. Ted helped me through my transaction and he informed me that my vacuum would be ready in 5 – 7 days.
I received a phone call from Ted when my vacuum was ready and I’m glad to say that it is working very well now. Ted also mentioned that my repair came with a year warranty (woo-​hoo) and thank god because vacuuming is my favorite.
They hold sewing classes that start at $ 14.95 an hour (for more details please contact the store). Their showroom has lots and lots of sewing machines, some vacuums and a few other electronics. I am glad that I found D&H and should I come across any more household electronic issues I will be stopping by D&H. Thank you Ted for your follow up and awesome customer service.
