Deshler’s Collision Repair

Simply the best auto body shop in southern California. Marcelo and Tim do not cut corners and their work is flawless. They recently repaired my Lexus SUV with white pearl paint. The color match was perfect! Additionally, they were able to work with my insurance company in a timely manner and they were able to get the insurance company to agree to a higher estimate for work not addressed by the insurance adjuster. They also set me up with a discount on my rental car which picked me up at the shop. Very convenient. Staff, including Ericka and Theresa at the front desk, are very courteous and were a pleasure to deal with.
I have referred friends to them and they have also been very satisfied with their work.

this one of the finest repair shop in Orange County plus… have brought several car here for repair over the last dozen years… from minor to major and every repair was done far and beyond what I expected… You could not tell that there was ever any damage. Could not ask for better service or workmanship. THEY ARE OUTSTANDING

Some careless driver backed into my car and left big ding in my bumper. I got some estimates, and they all wanted to replace the bumper. I took it to Deshler’s and they were able to repair the ding without replacing the bumper! They are very professional, and do OUTSTANDING work. We all have spent our hard working dollars on our cars, and you should go to Deshler’s to fix and protect your investment!

My car was hit a few weeks ago for the 1^st time ever needed a great body shop Unilocaled and Deshler’s collision came up with great reviews stopped by and and talked with Marcelo he went out of his way to get my car in since the person who hit me had no insurance just picked my car up yesterday WOW what a great job looked like it had never been hit thank you Deshler’s for such a great job will refer everyone to Deshler’s

If you’ve read my reviews, you know I tell it like it is. So, here it is —
I paid a lot for my car and I treat it very well. So, I have pretty high standards, and when it got damaged, I asked my car dealer for the best — hand’s-down «The Best» — body shop in OC.
He sent me to Deshlers in Orange.
The manager, Marcelo looked over — no, examined — my car. Got my insurance company to literally double their low-​ball estimate to cover all kinds of stuff their adjuster «missed». (it helps to have him deal with your insurance Co.)
I have to say — they take a bit more time than other shops. Maybe cause they’re swamped with work, or because good work just takes more time. Give it a couple extra days — you’ll wait a bit, but they’ll do a great job.
So I get my car today and I have to tell you — it looks as nice as it did when i first rolled it off the lot. Incredible. What great work. Tim, Marcelo & Crew, if you’re reading this — Thanks!

I got rear ended. Patrick gave me a fair quote and was upfront that it could be more once they were able to get a better look underneath the car. It ended up not costing any more than the initial quote. Once I agreed to go with Deshler’s, Marcello called and let me know how long it would take the parts to arrive and, once they arrived, how long the repairs would take. The car was done a little bit earlier than promised and going through insurance was seamless. It was a pleasure to deal with Deshler’s throughout a somewhat stressful process.

I had to have my car repaired after another driver hit me on the driver’s side damaging my GS300 from the driver’s side rear door, tire rim, and back bumper.
The quote was reasonable compared to other quotes I’ve seen. It was right in the ballpark that I guessed it would be based on my experiences with other body shops in the past.
Fortunately, for me the other driver’s insurance, State Farm, took care of the cost. The nice thing is Deshler’s is on State Farms preferred list and so when I opened up the claim and told them where I was taking my car it was no questions asked from them.
The repairs were wonderful. Car looks great!
As far as wait time… that I would put at 3 stars. I called Marcello ahead of time to schedule when to drop off the car. Fortunately, I was in no rush and their waiting area is nicely appointed with a Keurig and tv. But I ended up waiting quite some time before I got my car checked in. Then thankfully, State Farm arranged for a rental car because the repairs took 2 weeks when I thought it was only going to be 1. But it was no big deal to me since I had a rental. And lastly, to pick up my car… I got a phone call stating what time my car would be ready. I even called them back to let them know I got the message. I arrived about an hour after that specified time. Car was in the middle of being washed. So once again, I got to spend some time in their nicely appointed waiting area.
But to end on a positive note: When I came to pick up my car I had the rental plus brought someone to help me drive it to the rental place afterwards. Deshler’s called the rental place and arranged for them to pick it up for me. So as soon as my car was ready, I was able to take off. And that made me really happy!

Had a little fender benders with my 2013 Mazda CX5 (approx $ 1500 damage to right front fenders and bumper) took it into Dashler’s on a Monday and had it back a week later looking good as new. Great job and great customer service. Luckily I have only had to use them twice in the past 20 years and both times they did a superior job.

Wouldn’t take my vehicle despite having sent the assignment a week prior. Marcello said that because I had State Farm it would require them to do the job in a correct and timely fashion because State Farm are sticklers when it comes to quality work and he was slammed, but had I any other insurance he’d take it in a heartbeat. He also made it clear that it was my fault for waiting a week to bring it in. I ended up giving one of the hundreds of other body shops in Orange County my money instead. #lazy

Tim at Deshler’s helped me. He stressed the importance of getting my BMW perfect and how and why he would accomplish this. He described how the emblems must be removed and the fenders and bumper must be painted off the car to make it look factory perfect. The paint is a new solvent based paint approved for use in California. The wait to bring my car into Deshlers was a bit excessive but at this time I think it was worth it. The job looks excellent and my BMW look perfect. I had a small communication issue getting status on my car but it got solved and it was delivered on schedule. I would recommend this shop to my friends.

Just got a quote from patrick and Damn it’s expensive here. I Asked if their was a way to lower the cost and he never got back to me, so i guess not.

First of all, let me say that Deshler’s does very fine work. I give them lower marks based on how they conduct business. I’ve had several cars on different occasions repaired there. However, their primary directive is clearly to inflate the scope of repair wherever possible. They are very reluctant, even non-​responsive to providing a quote when insurance is involved. They insist on seeing insurance company quotes or even competitive quotes from which to base their estimate. They push the customer to go with them even without a quote, promising to make sure that insurance will cover it (which by the way they make good on). I assume Tim Deschler knows something about auto body repair but his primary job seems to be schmoozing the customer making them feel like they are special and to «trust him» to do all that is right.
Also, they rarely complete a job on time, that is the time to which they initially commit. There always seems to be an issue with the insurance company, getting a specific part, something out of order at the shop whatever, too often to be a coincidence.
I don’t think I’ll bring my next repair to Deschler’s, feeling better to go with someone who is on the up and up from the very beginning.

This place was absolutely awesome. I needed my front bumper removed and the grill replaced due to an accident, and they made the whole process so easy. Since it was the other person’s fault, I didn’t have to pay but the invoice seemed reasonable for how accommodating they were. On the day of my drop off, they had a rental car waiting for me. When I picked up my car 5 days later, it looked 100% perfect and they even gave me a small bottle of matching paint for any future scratches I happen to get (which was totally out of their way!)
The shop itself is very clean and professional; it sort of felt like a really nice doctors office… but with car décor.
Hopefully I never have to have a body repair in the future, but if I do, I will only take my cars here. No doubt about it! I wish they did regular car maintenance; I’d come here all the time.

My repair was minor, but they did a great job and kept me informed the whole way as to the progress of my vehicle. All the staff are super nice and helpful. They dealt with all the BS to work out an estimate with my insurance company, helped me get a rental car while the repair was being done, and returned my car to me fixed properly and even washed it up and had it looking great when I picked it up. I have white rims on my car that are a pain in the butt to clean, and they even hand cleaned all the old brake dust out of all the little crevasses and everything before giving my car back to me… little things like that go a long way! Good job guys.

The best experience ever! I went in to have my vehicle emblems painted. Marcelo was very nice and professional. My car was ready in minutes… I would definitely come here again for all my vehicle needs.

I got my car repaired here after my fender bender a couple weeks ago and I got my car back looking like it was new! They even left me a little touch-​up kit with a little bottle of paint that was used to paint my car.
I also really enjoyed being able to go the website and check on my car as it was being repaired.
