Very delicious food at an awesome price. The cashier hooked it up with some great tasting soup. If you’re around the area and have the munchies for Filipino food give this place a shot you won’t be dissatisfied.

My friend invited me and my mom to eat there this may 2016. at first i was amaze about the menus and the price is affordable. But upon talking to the Old Lady cashier(wearing eye glass) she was so rude to my mom. For me she needs to be retrained on how to mingle with the customers or much better to replace that old lady cashier. «Customers are the primary sales of every business. Without it, your business is nothing.»

Really good filipino restaurant. Their pork and chicken bbq is only 1.50, and its really good! Kaldereta, sinigang, pancit, sisig, desserts like halo halo, flan, suman, is so authentic flipster food.

Horribly rude cashier lady. Had to even remind her to give back my change! Besides that the food was pretty bland and cold. Would not recommend even for the biggest d-bag at work.

Decent Filipino food for a fair price. While not as good as my mom’s cooking, when I get a hankering for some salty goodness, this place fills in just right. I came later in the evening, so most of the food was what was left, but the chicken curry was really, really good. The chicken adobo was just fair and the pancit(noodles) were actually quite good. Try going earlier in the day and I’m sure the food will be much more flavorful and fresh.

I was craving some authentic Filipino food as my fiancé and I were walking through the mall so we decided to give this place a shot. We ordered longanisa with rice, beef nilaga, and halo halo. The milk in the halo halo tasted funky. Then as I opened our entrée box, I realized it only contained rice, no longanisa :(So he went back & showed one of the workers. But she only gave 2 measley pieces. Talk about stingy. THEN, the same worker who rang us up last time wanted to charge us again! When he told her that they had forgotten to add the longanisa in the box, she started yelling and accusing him of lying. I was a few tables away and saw her pointing at me. Apparently, she thought I was already eating the longanisa and rice, but I was eating the nilaga! I would give this establishment ZEROSTARS if I could! Customer service is nonexistent!

The lady working their is very rude. She forgot to put longanisa in my plate and only gave me 2. Accused me for not paying my rice when I already did. She has temper issue avoid this place, unless you like to get yelled and pay more for it. There is better business else where!

Would not come back. Food was cold and burnt. Rice wasn’t cooked fully so it was crunchy still. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because if the noodles were hot they would’ve been Good. Will not be coming back.

Staff was great and the food was delicious. It’s really tough for me to find a place that sells great authentic Filipino food. As a Filipino, I grew up with home cook meals so my standards are very high.

The people working there are rude. They never smile or say thank you. I went there at 4:30 in the afternoon to pick up stuff for dinner and they were out of fried rice. I asked the person behind the counter when the next batch would be ready… she said we aren’t making any more today. Huh!!! The chicken is good but a little dry. The pork on a stick is very fatty. The lumpia is alright. Decent prices but the quality of food is mediocre and the service is even worse but yet I continue to go back. They must put something in the lumpia. LOL

All kinds of absolute yum! The pork and chicken skewers delicious! Fried rice was really good too. I cannot believe I didn’t get the pork belly so I’m gonna have to return when I come back home. Oh and the fried banana and Halo-Halo. Damn I miss California food!

Got the budget meal #1 with beef sticks and rice. Great portion with more than a cup of rice and good cuts of meat on the kabobs. Food was super fresh, and even came with a side of soup! Will definitely be back

Love this place. Best Filipino food in the area. Love the Kare kare, dinuguan, sinigang, bbq sticks and halo halo. My mom and I go here pretty much every time we go to this shopping center. Would rather eat here and get a great meal than getting just pizza or Subway next door.

Good homemade Filipino food, BUT seriously needs to work on customer service really bad O_o. I read reviews about a «rude lady» that Unilocalers were calling. I walked up to the counter. I saw 2 ladies working behind the counter. One saw me, but continued with what they were doing. No biggie, I had to look at the menu anyway. 5 minutes later, I waved my hand at one of the ladies and they looked away. Hmmm… so I said«hello po, I’m ready to order». At the same time, the phone rang. A lady came out and answered the phone in front of me. I am not making this up, but this lady stayed talking on the phone for a good 5 minutes with an annoyed face and uninterested attitude with whoever she was talking to. After she was done talking, she just looked at me and did not even apologize for making me wait. So I used my charm… I said«tita, kamusta po, are you okay?»(tita means auntie and kamusta means hello) and her annoyed face turned into a smile O_o. I think we just made a connection lol. But then she went on a mini rant on her problems with some customers calling asking for a discount on orders and what not. She was very negative. Omg Now I can see why people would find her rude. But I stayed listening and we actually had a decent convo. Onto the food, I had 1 combo of CALDERETA(rich beef stew) and 1 combo of DINUGUAN(pork blood stew) with a side of white rice and 1PORKBBQ stick to go. Eveything was amazing! Portions were generous with huge chunks of meat and just a lil bit of fat. Dinuguan was very rich and had the right amount of vinegar. Reminded me of my moms cooking. I would definitely come back again for the food and try some other dishes. It’s the closest Filipino food to me, so I can ignore the bad customer service ^_^.

I always get their budget meal… 2 skewers, rice and sometimes they give me free soup! Food always tastes better when the people that serve you are polite

Exceptional service, exceptional product, they will dazzle you as much with their professional courtesy as much as their taste. I’d recommend them to anyone!!!

I was actually happy to find out that there is a Filipino food place not that far from where I live. Unfortunately my happiness was short lived. Tried a couple of dishes: lechon kawali, bbq, dinuguan, adobo and sinigang. I’ve had better. To top it off, that older woman is very rude, very abrupt and very grouchy. Has she ever heard of CUSTOMERSERVICE??? Anyway, never going back there, I would rather drive all the way to Cerritos to get my Filipino food fix than to go back to an unwelcoming attitude with sub par food.

wow this was bad. I have been to a lot of Pilipino joints in the past and this may have been the worst one yet. Also before you go jumping on me about not knowing what I am talking about since Pilipino grub is a bit different, know the following, the munchkin is half pinay, I have spent several months in the PI, and I have grubbed at a large number of Pilipino joints around OC and LA, granted most were before I started writing reviews. Let alone my former mother in law was a phenomenal cook and created better food than most of the Pilipino restaurants that I have ever been to. Pro Tip: Cash is the preferred payment of choice here… And the bad stuff… * Just because its on the menu doesn’t mean you can order it * The pancit noodles were not very good * The bbq pork was extremely fatty(30−40%) and had a bit of gristle * One skewer is a single item for the combo plates The good stuff… * The owner who was working the counter was very conversational and a nice guy * The bbq chicken was good(I had never had a bbq chicken skewer for Pilipino food before) * The bbq pork tasted great(where there was meat) Overall it just was not worth it IMHO and I don’t think I will be going back. I had to give it a try, but I wish I had gone to a place I knew would be good. But seriously why do you have items on the menu if you cant purchase them? This made me very disappointed to say the very least!

I AMSOLAZY… This is the first Flip place I have eaten at in a long time. I guess I have survived on frozen lumpia and my own chicken or pork adobo for months — LOL. I took a look at my yf Miguel R.‘s «spot on» review before I came here. This place is in the food court of The Village at Orange amongst Sbarro, Subway and DQ. I chose the 3 item combo($ 7.25) — Nilaga(pork rib soup); chicken curry and pork shish kabob. I had steamed rice and mixed pancit(bihon [thin rice noodles] and canton [chow mein style noodles]) on the side. They have about 12 dishes served turo turo(point point) style, and some items off the menu. The soup was pretty good. The broth was skimmed well and the vegetables(including napa cabbage) were fresh and crunchy. The only improvement would have been to trim the meat better. The curry was OK. The Filipino version does not have much heat and I prefer the Thai version better. I would have ordered chicken adobo, but there wasn’t any in the chafing pans. The shish kabob was OK too. It had nice seasoning, but I bit into some inedible fat on my second bite. Lastly, the pancit was surprisingly good. The noodles were not soggy and the vegetables were crunchy. I was stuffed afterwards. I could easily have ordered only a two item combo: 3 Stars. The server was pretty nice. He didn’t try to speak Tagalog to me like most Flips. I didn’t have to give my standard apology, «Sorry, brah! I am Hawaiian/Filipino and I grew up in Hawaii. I didn’t learn Tagalog. I went to Hawaiian school growing up. If you like me to Olelo Hawai’i(speak Hawaiian), I can». The ambiance is, well, you are in the food court of a mall: 3 Stars. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but I can see myself coming here for the nilaga to nurse a hangover, or if I need a lot of food for not much $. So the next time you see me check in here, at least you will know I had a BNO the night before, or I am low on dough.
