I am very glad they are closing.
One of the staff at this location is a crazed Racist. The White female who yells loudly Security! Security! — THE EXACT SECOND AFTER I PAY for my goods — [ALL SALES ARE FINAL, CAREFUL]. I almost jumped out of my skin!
And it’s embarrassing. They wait until the exact moment after they have your Money. So-​o-​o infuriating. Even after the White man (the one who had leaped out of the aisle at me as I headed to the register: «Hello!») — even after he told her «everything is under control», she loudspeakered, «Well, continue to monitor though».
Monitor WHAT?
Here is how I will handle Grocery stores who perform the White Supremacist dance: I WILL RETURN EACH AND EVERY ITEM THAT IT TOOK ME PROBABLY AN HOUR TO SELECT, with my special diet, etc. Whether it’s $ 300 (Sam’s Club) OR $ 280 (Ralphs on Chapman/​Katella) or $ 150 (Vons at Anaheim Civil Center area) or $ 200 Muslim market, Fresh Choice, (great prices though) at Katella and Brookhurst. That’s a lot of money to give to the KKK [who are domestic terrorists, but Digressing]. And I won’t do it anymore. I even used to buy BOOKS at Ralphs. ($ 20 support my favorite art form, because I like to mix it up and step out of my box, do something different). Nothing you can do will ever appease a Racist.
Getting back to Fresh n Easy, their food is overpriced; $ 9.00 for a tiny bag of Stevia? No. Good riddance.

I can’t remember what grocery shopping was like before Fresh and Easy. This is the BEST place for college students, singles, young couples, or anyone on the go!
I do all of my weekday shopping at this fresh and easy — I work full time and go to school part time so I’m short on cooking time during the week.
I can’t stress how appreciative I am that fresh and easy makes fruits, vegetables, ready to eat meals, and healthy and nutritious snacks a staple — with wide variety. This location is also open 24 hours so I can stop by before work, late nights after class, or whenever I need.
Unlikely the stater brothers in the area, fresh and easy also makes fresh bakery items daily — so they’re great for breakfast or picking up treats for the office.
Plus the store is well designed, visually pretty, well-​stocked, and always 100% clean and tidy.
I’ve seen fresh and easy stores closing so please support! Would love to keep these guys in the neighborhood forever!

They take no help to a whole new level. You can’t even get cash back when you make a purchase.

Some organics in the freezer area.
Turns out they are only open 23 hrs.
They close between 1:45 — 2:45am.
You may not even enter.
I saw a guy wearing their T shirt citing them as #1 in customer svc. What a lie. No area experts. No one checks you out.

It’s a good example of what a Fresh & Easy look like, & the staff is pleasant, as you would expect.
Old guy that’s usually in the front is hilarious, & has mastered the art of G-​rated humor.
The lines are never backed up, & anything sold out is usually back on the shelf within a day.
If you work in the area, it’s real easy to walk through with $ 10/​$ 15, & leave w/​enough snacks and drinks to last through the following day.

Staff is much more helpful now. And friendly. Thanks.
But since I’m on here, might I request an improvement on your prepacked/​prepared veggie and fruit? Taste has been off on some such as the watermelon.

The 24hr is bs i just went to check an there was a sign saying open at 2:45am wtf is that i thought it was 24hr?

Food is great. Can be pricey but sometimes you’ll find great deals… My only problem is I work a graveyard shift and when I get off work it says 24 hour… And of course I get there… And it says open at 2:45… Reallyyyyyy??? I’m not going to sit in the parking lot for 30 mins when all I want to to is grab food go home and sleep… Thanks for the inconvenience …

I moved to Orange almost a year ago. I live around the corner from this particular fresh and easy. It’s nice living so conveniently close to a healthier store. In the short time I’ve been here I’ve seen an improvement. They had little to no staff when we first came here and since then now there are a decent amount of people working here. The store is always clean. The prices can be a bit high but that’s to be expected with their organic products. They have an interesting variety of products to accommodate the lactose intolerants, vegetarians, vegans and celiacs.

Some things are fresh, some not so fresh, but errthing so easy. Boom! Nailed this review!

This store recently is now open ²⁴⁄₇ which is pretty nice considering I only live down the street. They usually have good deals when the holiday seasons come around which is a plus. I also like that most of the people who work at this Fresh & Easy has provided good customer service whenever I have visited the store.
I only come here to get fruit, which is its downfall. Every time I have gone to get things such as Pears and Apples, there is only the leftover fruit that is really bruised and not in good condition. I find myself wasting time going through each fruit. Even if I come in super early, in the middle of the day, or even at night, it never seems to be restalked when I go in.
This is just a typical grocery store that has fresh flowers, premade meals, do it yourself checkout, with the exception of not so good fruits and vegetables. Go down the street to Stater Brother or Albertson’s for that.

This fresh and easy location became my new go to store for groceries. The store is clean, parking is always available when I go during mid morning. The staff has always been friendly towards me. They have some pretty good deals on occasion. I’m glad I discovered this place! Thanks!

This review is for the Fresh & Easy on Tustin and Chapman, in Tustin, OC, California.
The only reason I have shopped here in occasions is because I have conducted business at the Rite Aid next door, then immediately drove on the 55 freeway, so shopping at the (now closed) Ralph’s on the other side of the freeway would have being unpractical. Initially conceived by England’s Tesco company, I was hoping some of their offering would show up on these stores (no dice, try the Cost Plus World Market on The Village mall up Tustin street for real British fares).
After several visits, here is the final impression:
* The Good: Plenty of parking space, access to other businesses on the lot (Ride Aid, Pet Store, barbershop, a Carl’s Jr, Pizza shop, Holiday Skating Rink [?], dive pick-​up bar [!],) self-​checkout stands.
* The Meh: A hybrid between a Target’s fresh food market area, a want-​to-​be Trader Joe’s, and the self-​checking set up of a Food 4 Less, not really being on par to any of them. Way too many generic food items, to the point they should change their outside lsign to «Store, Food. One serving». =P Smaller than the defunct Ralphs across the freeway, with less variety and choices.
* The Bad: Fresh meats. Meat, yes, fresh, not. Tasted trucked-​in. Ghost shadows of employees, not feeling hunting one down. Good luck if your self-​check out machine goes down. Not enough items, more overpriced than Vons for some, if that were even possible.
In short: An (almost) store, so don’t expect to get all the items needed for all your cooking needs. You will need to hit the Stater Brother and/​or Albersons up Chapman street to finish your grocery list. A Food store destination?, no. A store just to pick up a couple basic items?, with some of the prices, neither.
Pass.

Short-​n-​Sweet: cheap, fast, and quality. It lives up to it’s name.
This store is fantastic because it offers exactly what it proposes: go get your basic items, check-​out yourself, and your done! That’s what I love about Fresh & Easy! All the items are dependable, decent quality, decent prices.
I wouldn’t be the Duke (as of ³⁄₂₀₁₄) of this location if it were not so close, and if it wasn’t that good in comparision to other grocery stores. Here’s some tips to enjoy:
1) They got rid of their clearance section. Instead, they mixed in clearance items with the regular items. I think this works since it helps the shopper find their particular item be on clearance if they were looking for it at regular price in the first place.
2) Definitely sign up for «Friends Awards.» After all, you should sign up in any rewards program anywhere. They do offer great deals, free stuff, and yeah you might get the occasional spam, but just delete it. How can you turn down free stuff earned for the money you already spent?

Shopping here is a great way to lose weight you will piss out of your ass for a week after eating food you buy here this place is disgusting I found out things that you don’t wanna know do not Shop here if you care about you or your family’s health

Stopped by since we were in the area. Picked up some things that we needed. Plenty of parking, the store was clean, and very well stocked. Upon checking out I was scanning everything and putting it down the conveyor belt. I came across a travel size hair spray that kept rolling across and would get stuck on the side metal part so it kept putting the next thing I would scan back up towards the scanner because the hair spray would never move to the next portion of the conveyor belt.
The older gentlemen working that day came over with the worst attitude saying, «You didn’t scan this, thats why.» Dude, look at the screen, I scanned it. Next time you accuse me, you aren’t going to like what I have to say.
Since putting in the self serve registers, I’ve had nothing but problems. I miss when it was at least an option. These machines are so damn picky! Instead of dealing with the headache, just bring back the workers and human operated registers.
Anyways, the guys accusations and attitude will keep me from shopping at this location. Look at the screen before you accuse a customer. Without me, you wouldn’t have a job. Just so you know.

I was so excited about being able to shop at Fresh & Easy stores again when I moved back to SoCal! I love the pre-​made, single serving meals here! There are so many different ones to choose from. I really like that Fresh & Easy seems to sell food in smaller portions; very convenient for small households. Everything is always fresh and although the store seems smaller than some grocery stores, I can still find pretty much everything I need. There are usually pretty good sales and prices are very reasonable here, especially the Fresh and Easy branded items!
By the way, the Fresh and Easy fresh chocolate chip cookies are amazinggg! :)

Interesting store. I am fifty something. In other words I no longer have children at home. Dinner time is either something fun and complex or reservations. Fresh & Easy caters to neither. This store is for busy families looking for something to throw in the oven or microwave. The meals are prepared and packaged for ease of time and mind. Everything else in the store is limited in selection options. One thing I must note is their store brand products are actually quite good. Better than most.

This is a great resource for a single woman like me — convenient location, great pricing and a good selection of tasty prepared meals. There’s a solid selection of meats and produce, lots of healthy snacks like nuts, dried fruit or even roasted edamame, an in-​store bakery and a decent array of frozen foods. They also have reasonable prices on basic items like hand soap, napkins and dog cookies (my dogs absolutely love the ‘Buddy Biscuits’).
There’s also a good selection of beer and wine to be found here. The pricing is reasonable but the best deal to be had is on their ‘Big Kahuna’ wines. I know, I know. TERRIBLE name for a wine brand but at $ 2 a bottle, who cares? My favorite is the Crisp White wine. It’s probably a blend of Pinot Gris and Chardonnay or something along those lines (I’ll say it again — it’s $ 2!!!) but whatever it is, it’s drinkable! I’ll be stocking up again on some more tomorrow, in fact. Don’t be afraid to stop and say ‘hi’ if you see me loading up my lovely green wine bag.
I know a lot of people don’t like the self checkout feature here but I love it. It’s generally faster to scan everything my self and there’s always a super helpful associate nearby in case you need help, or your ID approved for your wine purchase.

I love fresh and easy soooo much. It really wins if you’re single or even a couple with no kids. I say that because they don’t sell huge bulk stuff like most stores, and they have individually wrapped and prepared fresh (and easy!) meals/​salads/​and sides. HOLLA! I ran in here to grab some wine just after getting my nails done next door. I was in, I thought I was going to be in, and out, but of course, buying wine alerted the employee who surveys the check out machines. (everything is self serve) And she had to authorize my booze buy. I saw her trying to check me out on the sly, trying to tell if I looked over 21 and I totally called her out! (I don’t look 21 even though I’m 31 cuz black don’t crack! holla!)
Me: «I see you checking me out (smile) trying to see if I’m 21 eh? LOL!!»
Her: «Haaa!!! YOU TOTALLY BUSTED ME!!! LOL! I was trying to be smooth!!»
we both laughed.
Her: «Wow… I totally needed someone like you today! You cracked me up!!»
Me: Smile…
