Gorgeous European antiques. All very well kept and maintained. Antiques are pricey but gorgeous. This store displays their items really well. They have a huge selection of big items, including dining tables, cabinets and such. Located in Old Town Orange, by the circle. If you’re strolling by this is THE antique store to visit. You’ll notice its beautiful wood store front with huge doors. Chandeliers range in the $ 1k-$ 15

I have no idea how this store has only 2 reviews. I mean… really? I almost didn’t walk in because from the front you can tell that it is going to be the kind of place that houses exquisite, fine antiques that most people probably would think a buy like that on a Saturday afternoon might be a little costly, but once I stepped inside… yes, it was exactly what I was afraid of, but I couldn’t look away! This is my new go to place for furniture, ever! The pieces are specially focused on french and English one of a kind pieces, exquisitely carved from gorgeous woods, restored to perfect condition. The prices are very reasonable for the age and condition of the pieces. Online, these types of items would be at least 60% more, so that makes this place a gem.

I simply cannot believe there is only one review for this business. My jaw dropped as I entered this place. I have never seen a collection of fine antique furniture such as this anywhere. Let’s just put it this way — the name is fitting because this might be what you expect George the second to decorate his castle with. Think Downton Abbey. Styles encompass Louis XV and Henry II. Some of the pieces are enormous, some are not; all are exquisite. I found the pricing actually fair considering the quality and condition of the pices. One of a kind, solid wood items with ornate wood carvings and designs; a lot of marble tops; several matching items/sets which are especially hard to come by with pieces of this age. It was all in immaculate condition and the selection is large. If you are in the market for fine, upscale antique furniture this place is worth the drive from wherever you are. I can’t wait to go back.

Along that strip of Glassell Street known as Old Town Orange, there’s a curious-looking shop on the northwest side of «the Circle.» If you’re familiar with the area(which has served as location for at least one movie that I know of), you’ve probably seen the shop – it looks as if the façade was fashioned from a giant French armoire. Since the street is a haven for antiques aficionados – real buyers and window-shoppers alike – no stroll down this Main Street U.S.A. clone is complete without a visit to this particular store. Inside, you’ll find an array of French and English antique furniture, clocks, and decorative items dating from the mid 18th century right through the beginning of the 20th. The emphasis here is on Louis XV and XVI-style pieces. Yes, it’s expensive. But you know what? You’ll get quality furniture that’ll last several lifetimes and, if you DO need to sell it, you’ll probably get every penny back instead of having to resort to curbside pickup! They’ve also got a warehouse that’s open to the public on Collins Street in Orange, regularly receiving container shipments from Europe. While that location is primarily to the trade(at a discount) the public is welcome to browse and pay full price. Hint: if you go to the warehouse and have some sort of retail business and a California seller’s permit, you may be able to get the dealer rate. Or tell them that you have a stall in an antique mall somewhere… but you didn’t hear that from me!
