After reading many reviews I decided to schedule a consultation with Keith, the owner. After arriving at the salon, I was greeted by the concierge, Alan, who made me immediately feel welcome in this new environment with a warm greeting. My jacket was then taken by Alan and hung in the closet. A service robe awaited me. Immediately following slipping my arms into the held service robe, I was asked if I would like a beverage.
Initial paperwork was completed by me to gain background information in the living room. Shortly after, I was asked to be seated in a chair in the «hair sanctuary» where Keith would soon join me. (This is the space where actual services are rendered.). Keith arrived shortly and asked me about my hair likes and dislikes, experiences at other salons, what I desire for my hair, and examined my hair shaft while explaining the current condition of my hair in different areas on my head. I was finally able to tell my hair story. It was as if time stood still because I did not feel rushed.
Four years later I am still a client. I decided to write this review now because I appreciate the consistency in performance by Keith and his staff as well as the operation of his physical plant. One thing that I have learned as a women in her 40s about hair care is, when you find someone who hones his or her craft by learning and sharing that knowledge with clients as well as invests in the establishment, it is a recipe for (my) success.
Yes there have been different members on Keith’s team in the salon. Yes I have not liked or agreed with Keith during every discussion about my hair. Yes I have not been able to readily duplicate the created hair style days after visiting the salon. With all of that said, I am most proud to say, «Yes, my hair is healthier than it has been since my 20s because I have a hair stylist who I can talk with, debate with, and collaborate with during every visit to GregDavid Salon.
So, if you want an upscale experience designed to destress you while pampering you then I ask you to visit this salon. (Oh, I forgot to mention the reclining shampoo chairs… heavenly.) You may feel that you are paying more for the services there, but aren’t you worth a similar experience?

I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and experience. I took a chance on them based on the reviews from Unilocal and the fact that they had an easy online booking process. My stylist Dawn was ready when I got there and she skillfully washed, trimmed and twisted my short natural hair all in under 2 hours. Everyone was professional and welcoming, the salon was super clean and they used top quality product. I enthusiastically recommend it.

I have never received so many compliments on my hair. The cut and the color are everything! Spacious, beautiful, comfortable salon décor; knowledgeable, welcoming stylists and staff. No more doobie salons for me!

This place is seriously as good as it gets! Keith and Dawn are both so knowledgeable on hair and are so passionate about getting your hair healthy! I love being around people that know what they are doing and truly love what they are doing. Let me first start with the fact that they did my hair on their day off. I was amazed by the extremely outstanding customer service that I was given. Not only was I able to come in but I left with gorgeous hair. I was comfortable and felt like I knew them for some time and also gained knowledge on how to get my hair to where I want it. I can say I have to thank my lucky stars I finally found a salon where I will be a regular. I’m from NY and it’s been a journey looking for the perfect fit. And I found it! Try it out. I had the awesome opportunity to visit the GregDavidSalon this past Thursday after searching for 3 months for a salon in this area. I relocated to North Jersey area and would travel back to the south Jersey 30 mins outside of Atlantic City to get my hair done. I must say MY SEARCH IS OVER! I have found the salon that meets ALL my needs. A salon that cares for the well being of my hair. A salon that’s not in a rush to throw chemicals in my hair without first knowing the strength or texture. A salon whose presentation is state-​of-​the art from the time you walk through the door. A salon whose technicians greet you with such hospitality. …and Keith Jones is ‘da truth! When I left the salon to start my day, there were numerous of compliments! So glad to find a new home. Greg David Salon is OUTSTANDING! This was my first visit but it will not be my last. I have finally found a salon that provides excellent service, high professionalism, clean & modern facilities, ample room for numerous customers, courteous staff, a relaxing atmosphere AND I LOVED MY HAIR!!!
Upon arriving you are greeted pleasantly and warmly by the hostess. Then the truly decadent experience begins. You are offered a warm or cold beverage and an assortment of snacks, while your coat is exchanged for a branded Greg David robe to protect your clothing. There is no wait for your appointment but instead you are escorted to your stylist’s station.
My visit was with «Keith», the owner and on-​site manager of Greg David Salon. Keith performed a thorough consultation while taking my personal style and expectations into consideration. The young lady who washed & dried my hair was great. Keith cut, permed, curled & styled my hair expertly.
The price is fair for the service and is well worth the experience and final outcome of your hair. Greg David Salon values their clients and invites them to join their VIP program which offers select discounts and exclusive access to bonus opportunities at the salon.
I strongly encourage you to visit Greg David Salon in Orange, NJ. You will not be disappointed and be sure to spread the word of your outstanding experience.

This was a wonderful hair experience. From the shampoo girl to Keith, the owner and lead stylist, I have no complaints about my first appointment at The Greg David Salon. The staff was warm and generous, offering snacks and drinks to patrons. The shampoo lady did a wonderful job and blew me, a thick haired tender headed sister, without incident, and my natural hair was perm straight when I walked out. I became a regular on my first appointment. I can recommend this to women of all hair types.
