I normally would tell you this place is the best. But a simple mistake cost me $ 1300.
They did my oil change less then a month ago and with they told me that everything was topped off including the coolant. That proved to not be the case. I had been driving my car on NO coolant at all and resulted in ruining the radiator on my vehicle.
50bucks turned into $ 1300 and my family and friend all come here.
Disappointing.

Unilocal, needs to add a feature where we can put negative stars. Buyer be aware! This place is a skam. I definitely would stay far away from this place. I tried to throw some business their way and now I’m out $ 65 for them to say that it didn’t pass smog. Then they come with the if you hire us to fix this that the and the other we can get it to pass. Bunch of B.S. It will pass without any fixes needed. I just went to the wrong place. They are Trying to do the old up sell and rob people blind to stay in business. If you want good honest mechanics do not go to this place. They are a joke.

Quick service and friendly staff. I brought my car in for a smog check and they completed the work in about 30 minutes. No pressure or upsell on any service and they took my coupon. Have done several smog checks and oil changes and never had an issues.

Quick and courteous people. I brought in my truck for a smog check and he met me on one side of the building. After 20 minutes or so, it was on the other side of the building for pick up. Professional all the way!

This is the only place I always take my car to get my oil changes and smog checks done. The guys are nice and very professional. Other places have those $ 15.00 oil change deals but you have to wait an hour or more for it. I’m always on the go so that is why I LOVE this Instant Lube place. I don’t mind paying the extra $ 10 bucks. They are SUPER FAST. Oil changes take less than 10 – 15 minutes. Smog checks takes them about 20 minutes. Their the fastest place in town.

They told me it would be a total of $ 72 for my 1996 bmw. I printed off a coupon for $ 23 off. When I got here they said the total was going to be $ 82. They were not willing to go back to what they said. Crappy experience.

For almost two decades they have been doing my smog tests and quick oil changes. Rarely do I have to wait and I am out of there in less than 40 minutes. I love the fact they are not constantly trying to up sell me. No nonsense, just great service.

I am done taking my vehicle to this place for an oil change. I explained the last time I brought my car in that oil dripped everyday. This does not happen when I take my car into the dealership to have the oil changed (for less money and inconvenient).
Took my car in yesterday, they said they wiped it down and if I see any drips it would be water.
Pulled out of my garage this morning and a puddle (yes a puddle!!!) of oil is on my garage floor.
I drove up to the mountains this morning and got out of my car and all I smell is burning oil.
The guys that work at this place are friendly enough (that’s the 1 star). But I’d rather have a grouch change my oil who can do it right.

Went here for an oil change on a weekday during my lunch break. First thing I noticed is that all the prices are clearly posted on the outside of the service bay as you pull in. I chose the least expensive oil change, left the keys with the attendant, and went to George’s next door for lunch. My car was done within 10 minutes, before I even started eating. When I finished lunch and picked up my car, there was no attempt to sell me stuff I know my car doesn’t need, such as a new fan belt or air filter.
This place is fast and convenient. Prices are competitive with all the other oil and lube centers. What more can you ask for.

If you put coupon on your website giving 20.00 off, and quote me over the phone at 51.00 for service and 8.00 for a smog certificate, then charge me 79.00 for the smog check and 8.25 for the certificate, someone is really bad at math, or is a crappy liar. Service was fast, but not *that* fast. Never again.

I just got my first car and went here to have my oil changed. Found a coupon in the mail for a $ 25 15 pt. oil change, but I had left it at home. A super friendly and polite mechanic told me his boss was very strict about having the physical coupon, but I kept at it for a second and he very kindly suggested that he could try to convince his boss. A second later he comes back and said he could take care of it for me. So exciting!
Anyway, I went and sat in the waiting room. It was pretty clean, nothing fancy, but had coffee and the tv playing. It was a very professional place, and I was in and out in 10 minutes, for a great price! Really loved the customer service here.

I have been coming to this place since I got my first car. As a matter of fact, they were here before any of the other 30 minute or less oil change stations. At least on Chapman.
Today I got an oil change and a smog check. My car passed with flying colors and I am off to renew my stickers.
Since I can remember, they have always had free coffee in the waiting room and I just recently noticed that they are sponsors of the El Modena Cheer squad. A business with corporate responsibility in mind. Awesome.
All of the staff was friendly and awesome. The technicians will let you know if anything else needs to be done to your car, but they don’t push their products on you. they just let you know and you can choose to do it yourself, take it somewhere else, or if they offer the service, you can purchase the service there.
